I would start with studying MLP pony anatomy, gestures, and overall proportions. Currently I think you lack a bit of foundation of how different body parts are shaped, as they have more of a line and ball kind of look to them.  :) Not to be discouraging, but if you're looking for constructive criticism, I recommend going to the basics of shape and anatomy for ponies, and learning to understand and experiment with that well.

Also, if your tablet feels awkward, I've heard recommendations of using it to play games, like solitare and such so you get comfortable using it for your computer. Beyond that, probably attempt some pressure-sensitive programs/brushes when you're ready, so you can get some more expressive linework.

--> Though, if this is a concept you have issues with, practicing the RL counterpart is very useful.

Try looking at another pony picture and then drawing it as exact as you can get it. When i first got my tablet doing that helped me get a feel for the tablet and also learning anatomy.

You could also use reference pictures while drawing. It helps you learn new positions to draw in and more.

this ^

this is some perfect advice to start off

an amazing game to practice your handiness on a tablet with is Osu. a game made to be played with a tablet so it's really great practice. on top of that it's fun and free ^^

another thing that might help is find better drawing software that you can download for free, mypaint is a simple program that has some extra feaures compared to MSpaint. though the most important thing is that you indeed practice anatomy.

the body is shaped more like a sideways 8, the hooves are more like a cone beeing large at the bottom and small at the top and so on...

here's a good reference and tutorial on how to start: http://secret-pony.deviantart.com/art/Pony-Anatomy-Tutorial-299521426

well can you give me some stuff i should start out trying to draw?

it's good to start with seperate parts of a pony body. start by drawing hooves, then a body with hooves. try drawing just the head. combine that with a mane and tail. do this as seperate as possible that way you can focus on each part of the body. next try drawing a pony standing upright from a side perspective, in that perspective you can make adjustements to his position. when you have that down you can try different perspectives.

sometimes it might also be a great idea to start on regular paper. i wish you good luck in the future and keep in mind that drawing will never EVER be easy. it's something that stays hard no matter how long you do it. you're bound to get pissed and flip tables. but that shouldn't stop you. just keep going and you'll get much better ;)
