That One Pone 584 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 Hi all! Just wanted to do an interest gauge here. Are you/someone you know in the brony community an active user of a Flight Simulation game such as FS2004/FSX/XPlane? I wanted to find out if there are any more simmers out here. Yamato 1,348 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I used to be real fond of FSX. Had, like, 250 GB or something worth of extra aircraft. Last time I checked it took about 20 minutes to load up all the way... XDHaven't fired it up in quite a while now, actually. Need to do that sometime. 1 This is the greatest OC of all time. A Black Circle 1,586 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I've got a copy of 04 around here somewhere. Wasn't able to install it on linux, though. Biscuit.
Knight Hadron 372 July 3, 2015 Share July 3, 2015 I want to play xplane, but I don't have a good enough computer to actually run it. Nonetheless, I love flight simulator games. I found one called Micro Flight that is not too graphics-intensive; although, it is mainly good for gliding and small aircraft, not large aircraft. Kapitan zur See Hans (Daz) 883 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 Little bit old, but hey might as well. I've got all of the above, but my main sims for Civil aviation are X-Plane 10(Fly it for the Flight Factor planes) and Prepar3d V2(Don't have the cash for V3 yet). As for military I am only really flying War Thunder, little bit of Battle of Stalingrad, DCS(Mainly the SU-27 and BF 109 K4, though once the FA-18 comes out I will be doing more of that). Though I've taken a bit of a break from flying X-Plane and Prepar3d, apparently a few months ago I have become pretty sensitive to FPS around 30 which causes motion sickness for me(Payware aircraft and scenery tend to take quite a hit, and I have trouble sacrificing that), having to RMA a new part I got before I can get back into it. Holiday Agnaktor 1,436 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 No, it does not count as a Flight Simulator. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! If you make your own planes, and fly 'em around, doesn't that count?
