Long long ago, before Japon opened it's gate for ponies from all over the world, in a small town near the Hoofji^* mountain, a ryokan was opened in one of the streets. Attracted soft tatami and tasty meals, travelers and townsfolk all gathered there. Everypony was sitting on the ground by their tables, when a stallion in an expensive-looking yukata burst in. His bald forehead was sweaty from the summer heat and he seemed to have been out under the sun for hours. Even so, he wasn't looking for refreshments, he was frantically searching for ponies who'd do a dangerous job for him. He offered huge amounts of money as payment, it was not surprising that a small group gathered around him.
 
^*Yes, that is meant to be a ponified version of Mount Fuji, I really need someone's help to make up a better ponification.

Rules of RP

• General rules of RPing on MLP Forums applies here as well, of course.
• Oriental themed characters are preferred, but not necessary.
• Once the RP started, you can hop in any time, but you must ask permission here first.
• No alicorn OCs. Nor overpowered OCs. I will review your character before I give you permission to join the RP. Please accept my decision if I don't approve your character.
• Species that aren't cannon are allowed too, as long as they are oriental themed.

Of course you can, as it says in the rules, not oriental OCs are accepted as long as they are canon species.

Of course, but it depends on how skilled they are at it, and how reasonable their skills are. For example, a small filly that can wipe out a whole army just by herself won't be accepted.

My character, Samurai Equine, will fit perfectly here.

 

I've been calling his homeland "Japon" (Japan + Pony). However, that's just a place holder until the show ever makes its own oriental country.

Oh why not. Think I'll ask to throw either Ambrose or Crimson Quill into the adventure here. Which ever you think would fit better. As characters they are more character husk's that I can tweak around to fit nearly any rp I put them in. Anyway have a look and let me know which one you would prefer.

 

Also as to how we meet. Like any good roleplay a good place to start is a bar, from there the characters meet by chance and whatever ever adventure you choose can begin in a seemingly innocent location.

Ok I have a random question for my future fellow roleplayers. I honestly don't know which character I want to roleplay either Ambrose or Crimson so I'm asking you my fellow roleplayers if you have a preference as too which of them looks more interesting to interact with

Well its a good start. And my advice for ponification, don't try to hard if you have to just make things up. Its hard enough to ponyify english words. (Though you could name China Chimaera... i think thats how you spell it. Anyway its the mythical animal )
