What was she called before becoming a grandmother, or has she always been known as "Granny" Smith? Are Flitter and Cloudchaser sisters or just friends? I think Flitter and Cloudchaser are sisters... Who's older? Moonlight 7,288 July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 Her name is just a coincidence. She was named Granny Smith even when younger so she's just named after another apple like the rest of her family. Big Macintosh was noticeably thinner/weaker when he was younger and he was still called Big Macintosh. They're sisters, I feel like looking at them is enough to warrant that title.
