SFyr 1,982 August 8, 2015 Share August 8, 2015 I think that depends rather heavily on the characters (if they have development confirmation or other payoffs coming), the plot, and the general theme of the story. What do you have going on with it? Commission Thread | Deviantart | Poniverse Tumblr | Art Tumblr

SFyr 1,982 August 8, 2015 Share August 8, 2015 I think how a book ends depends almost entirely on what the book is about, haha. So like, what kind of dark book? Commission Thread | Deviantart | Poniverse Tumblr | Art Tumblr

SFyr 1,982 August 9, 2015 Share August 9, 2015 Yeah, I think our ability to throw out help with something unknown is quite limited. I think my advice would be to just really think about it. Maybe not start just planning out specific details, but about the impact or effect you want. Endings are a place to tie up loose ends, or draw attention to things left unknown. It is where you see the end results of a character, or a journey, and the answer of whether or not a character's efforts were worth it are somewhat made clear. Or, as I mentioned earlier, sometimes it depends on the theme of the story. If there's a general moral, feeling, or question you provoke throughout the story, the ending can be a great way to decide what to do with it, or rehash it in a way that sticks with the reader. :grin2: Commission Thread | Deviantart | Poniverse Tumblr | Art Tumblr
Jeric 46,878 August 9, 2015 Share August 9, 2015 If I say all of what it is, I will get suspended again. dark, adventurous, dark humor, a kinda rainbow factory & cupcakes mixed Both of which are banned on MLPF so please take that into account before posting here. There are other communities and groups outside of MLPF that can provide writing help on dark/gore inspired horror. This probably isn't the most efficient forum to get help for that genre. You can also use the 'Wait for approval' ch check box to submit a post for Mod review
