Sometimes I wish it were possible to travel through space as easily as to go to other places on this world. I guess that when, or if, it becomes possible will be in a time that my body had been long ago turned into dust .

Humanity just needs the right motivation to put these concepts into practice. The impulse thruster almost sounds too good to be true, but then again so have many inventions been throughout history. The thing that is holding a lot of these technologies back is getting off the surface of the earth. It takes more energy and fuel to launch from the surface of the earth than it does to travel to pluto once you are in space (it all depends on how fast you want to get there, of course).
