After getting his bow tie adjusted, and went up to the desk. He was prepared to take any bags visitors needed assistance with. Giving everypony who had their head towards him a warming, welcoming smile. Glancing his eyes towards all the ponies checking in. Noticing lots of bags.. Lots of HEAVY bags.

Devil Chord was slow to wake up. She just started working in a hotel tow days ago and it's been a while since she's slept in a bed. She use to sleep in a sleeping back in a park. But now she had a steady job she could get some better sleep, food and place to play. Though she won't be able to play the music she really wants to play. But she still gets to play nonetheless. 

 

She rolls out of bead and heads to the bathroom to take a shower. One more down side to the job was she had to dress up accordingly. Meaning a dress and well groomed mane. This was a classy play so she had to be class as well. At least she didn't hate dresses. She just liked her normal style better.

 

When she was done with her shower she put her makeup on and fixed her mane. Giving it a few light curls and letting drape over her shoulder.  When that was done she went to her closet and picked out a dress. The one she picked was a midnight blue Celtic styled dress that fit her well and felt comforter to her.  A friend got it for her because she didn't have enough to buy one and she didn't carry a dress on her.

 

Now that she was presentable. She grabbed her headphones and tuned on some music to help wake and pump her up, tuned up as far as it could go. Then she grabbed her guitar case and heat to the bars stage to meet her band mates to get ready.

If you sew her walking down the hall, you would see an attractive and well dress mare, listening to loud metal with a seemingly angry look on her face while carrying a guitar case with sticker on it of logos and names of other metal bands.

Flamestreak woke up to the delightful blaring of his alarm clock nearly causing him to fall out of his bed. "Shut up you stupid thing." Flame said before chucking the alarm clock across the room. He never did like that alarm clock. Flame then got up to brush his teeth and mane also to drink his morning soda typical morning. Flame then went to get his clothes on for the day Remebering he had to dress up for work. He didn't like it but he had to do it if he wanted to stay working and in the hotel plus the extra bits didn't hurt. Flame had a black tux and pants to match. Even adding a fedora to boot. "Great I'm all dressed up and ready to go" Flame said unenthusiastically. "Now where do I go?" He said concerned not wanting to be late on the first day. "I guess I'll find out" He said grabbing his guitar case and entering out the door. Once out the in hall he noticed a cute mare with a dress and simlar guitar case. "Hello do you know where the musicians meet for work?" He said assuming she worked there to.

 While she was walking, here eyes were closed and she was lightly banging her head and singing some of the lyrics out loud along with a new song that was in her playlist.  "Here's a little something from a God to a slave. I never should of been let out the bucking microwave. I'm on this planet, I'm running a muck. I should give a shit but I don't give a buck. No, since I was a scum dog, I blew a cum-wad. I need a mother-bucking. suckadickalickalog. Burning a mall or two, blowing the load I spew. You don't wanna bucking buck me? I'll buck you!"

 

While she was jamming out, she didn't see where she was going and lightly bumped into someone. Her eyes snapped open and her face turned bright red.  She looked to see who she bumped into and found out it was a stallion in a suite, carrying a guitar like her. She remembered her boss saying they were getting a new member for the band. But she didn't think she would bump into him out of nowhere. Normally it wouldn't be a problem. But bumping into them while singing rather...'colorful' lyrics, that's another story.

 

So her face got a little brighter. "Um...um...Y-you must be th-the n-new band m-member, right?" She looked away a little with a very embarrassed  look on her face.

The ponies outside walked in slowly, not expected. Some of them went straight to the bar and others went over to the desk. Tender gave a big smile, hearing the comment from Scarlett. ''Bowties are indeed cool!" He said with a chuckle before turning his attention to his new customers. "Aqua! Anypony who sits at the back tables, could you take their orders?" Tender said before turning towards the pony in front of him. "Good evening, what can I get you?" He said greeting the stallion with a smile.

Aqua lifted her notepad with her magic and levitated it into her hoof. She pulled out her pen and nodded at Tender. "I'm on it!" She chirped with a wink. She trotted off towards the back tables while holding her notes and pen. Aqua started to whistle but then stopped because it sounded too much like humming. And humming was bad for her... Aqua shook her head and trotted up to her first table and then took the orders from the ponies who were sitting there.

Anna was one of the only pony out on the street who didn't look up at the Harmony Hotel. Instead she looked at it in disgust. Here she was on a scientific professional trip to Manehattan from her home in Canterlot after all that had happened as of recently. Anna was in a rough spot, and she looked rough. The bun she had her mane in was starting to come undone, her eyes had big bags under them, and lab coat was unbottoned. She moaned with annoyance at the lavishness of the hotel. This mare was very humble. She grew up a very lavish life and was very wasteful as a filly, so she decided to not follow her parents hoofsteps and save the world another snobbish pony. Her superiors obviously didn't know they didn't have to waste all their bits to put her in this place.

 

Anna was pregnant, 6 months to be exact, and she didn't do anywhere near a good enough job hiding it. Her frame was small, so her baby bump was extremely noticeable. Despite the baby, and even how exhausted she looked, Anna was still a very pretty pegasus. A tan mare with a blonde mane, and ocean blue eyes... She was young. Anna was very young, some would argue a bit too young to be a mother, but it wasn't really her choice now was it? The baby and it's father haunted her, and the exhaustion didn't help trying to stay positive.

 

Anna looked around in disgust at what she found to be a wasteful display of wealth. When she looked around, her boxes of mostly equipment with some personal things scattered about was nowhere to be found. She looked and looked, grumbled to herself over how her superiors cared more about the hotel then then shipping of her belongings, and eventually sat on the couch in defeat.

 

She only stayed on the couch for a few minutes, until her eyes started to have trouble staying open. Anna went from sitting to lying in a matter of minutes, then eventually from being awake to asleep. She was apparently very tired, because as soon the shipment arrived, and big ponies started stacking the giant boxes next to the couch she fell asleep on, Anna didn't wake up.

 

Anna was surely making a mess of the lobby now, and sleeping where she wasn't supposed to. A wonder it must be about what the security of such a fancy hotel would think? Would they have pity for the young mother-to-be who had fallen asleep on their leather couch? Or would they kick her flank...

Spellbind had FINALLY arrived at the hotel. She checked in, took her things to her room and then went to find somewhere that she could hopefully have a pleasant nap.

 

She saw a mare fast asleep on the couch and she appeared to be pregnant. Spellbind couldn't help but sit with her.

Flame couldn't imagine what the song was about, He shuttered thinking about. Eventually composing himself Flame continued. "Yes I am the new band member but I don't know where to go mind pointing it out for me? He said trying to forget about the conversation thus far.

"S-sure. it's this way." She said as she started walking again, staying ahead of the stallion.  She really wanted to forget about what just happened. It was probable one the most embarrassing things to happen to her in a long time. Her headphones here hanging around her neck now and turned off.  But her face was still a bright red and her ears where a little low.

"Thank you my love!" Tender said happy, hugging Aqua for a bit before walking away again. After all, he was a busy pony. "I'll be back in a bit, you know how the drinks work!" Tender said before he trotted off. He walked out of the bar, went around the corner and saw two ponies both carrying a guitar case. "Aah! There you are! You two look fancy! I love it!" He said, now standing in front on the two musicians. "Alright! Stage is inside the bar although it's best to take the stage-door instead of waking through the bar! Just go to there, through that hall way, you will see a door on your right with a star on it!" Tender said pointing them the direction. "So that is that! Yes, I got to go back to work! Nice meet you all!" Tender said before running off again.

She only stayed on the couch for a few minutes, until her eyes started to have trouble staying open. Scarlett had been standing by the desk while the whole thing was happening. She didn't think much of it when the pony lay down on the couch but then once she saw all the boxes coming in, and the fact that the down looking mare was pregnant, she knew something was wrong. She walked over to the pony and gently nudged her awake on the shoulder. "Excuse me, ma'am, are you alright?"

Diamond burst was standing behind the desk. She was really busy. Alot of ponies checked in, so she didn't get a moments peace. After a bit of time, the ponies finaly stopped floodimg the desk, and she allowed a sigh of relief. She decided to take a stroll through the hotel to check on how everyone was doing. She put a be right back sign at the desk and left

Tender made a few drinks for the ponies at the bar before walking he started to walk around again. The hotel had calmed down. Most of the ponies were inside the bar or in their hotel room. Meaning it was time for a break. Tender walked through the main hall, seeing a pregnant mare laying on the couch. He smiled at the sight while he continued to walk. ''Bathroom break for me, finally!"  He thought to himself.

Devil Chord's ear flicked a little when the stallion spoke to her. She turned her head around a little to look at him. "I'm Devil Chord. But everyone calls me D.C.. And I've been playing most my life. We mainly play blues and jazz here. But the music I got the most talent for is metal.  But I learned blues and jazz first, thanks to my parents. So don't worry about  not getting into it right away." She said with a small smile, starting to get over her embarrassment.

Flame said with a nervous laugh. "Could you.... um teach me ha-ha" He said. You could see him blushing despite already having a red coat. It was actually pretty impressive

Scarlett turned away from the still sleeping pregnant pony, back to Aqua, and the back and forth a few more times. She goes over to the desk pony and says "Keep an eye on her for me would ya?" before catching up to Aqua nudging her slightly saying "Here I am! Why do you need me?"

"You! I want a big smile, confidence and hard work. That will result in more tips which makes me and you very happy!" Tender said with a bright smile. He clapped his hoofs.
