 How do I have this account be deleted?

Generally speaking, accounts cannot be deleted by request, as explained here.

 

 

The short answer is 'no'.

The more detailed answer is that removing accounts would destroy community history, and as a general rule of thumb, outright destroying information is not a good practice to have as your default action for most situations. It is for the same reason that members cannot delete most of their own content. This may seem like a conservative approach, but it is in the community's best interests.

 

As for the username/display name, it should be changeable if you go to 'My Settings' or 'Edit my Profile', then click on 'Display Name' on the left.

You can change your display name in your settings. Click on your name on the top right, then 'My Settings', then click 'Display Name' on the left side. You can change it 3 times a month. Your username however, I don't think that's changeable.

 

If you're 100% sure you want to delete your account, contact the admins. I'm having some trouble finding the 'Delete Account' button myself, but I'm sure they can sort something out for you. Just scroll down to the bottom of this page, and click "Contact Us".

@@Bryght Knowledge, our policy goes against the deleting of Accounts. However, we can delete any post of your that may give any sort of personal information (Real Name, Direction, Age, etc...). although that doesn't mean we will delete all of your posts. Head to this FAQ for the full information about this, please.
