An Unknown Pony. 370 September 4, 2015 Share September 4, 2015 It is very difficult to have even just a pony avatar without some person dehumanizing you for it Not true,i had a pony avatar for weeks and months as an experiment and nobody caresBack on main topic,of course you get attention but it is not necessary negative, maybe people are surprised as they rarely see a guy wearing brony merch “The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown” DeviantArt Account/Youtube account
They call me Loyalty 1,951 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 It's not the mlp clothing, it's you. I've also put on the most ridiculous outfits, and still got sweet smiles from people. The attire might be affecting your electromagnetic frequency. Are you insecure? If yes, then you're asking for such reception. Since it's written in your vibes.
NotoriousSMALL 1,984 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 Is it just me or has the social stigma and negative attention garnered when wearing anything MLP-related increased even more than from 2012-13? I've been wearing this around today and though I wasn't harassed, the looks I've gotten from people weren't the friendliest either. Did you really get hate from that t-shirt, OP? It seems waaaay too obscure for some random passerby to recognize unless they really know the show. Rainbow Dash is obviously a very popular character, but I doubt the regular person would memorize her cutie mark. I hope I don't sound like I'm trying to discredit your example, I'm not, but I'm kind of surprised! You must have ran into a bunch of "anti-bronies", then, lol
GeekySonic 1,150 September 19, 2015 Share September 19, 2015 Not really...? I mean, not for me at least. When I wear MLP shirts at school, I got a few funny looks. But no one really cared in the end. Whenever I wear them into cities like Minot or Bismarck, I actually get quite a lot of positive reactions. Most people don't care, but I've gotten several smiles, laughs, and brohoofs. Twice, I was stopped to take a picture with people. Of course, most of this came from teenage girls who watched the show. But, yeah. I've had pretty good experience so far. 1 Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.
