I have been seeing these other people on this forum with these. i want one.

If you don't know what i am talking about it's under their name and above their profile picture. how do you get one of those? that's my question.

Member titles are gained by subscribing to the site. You can subscribe under the "More" tab under the header of the site. For a small price per month you get lots of benefits, including a gold username and the option to change your member title, among other things.

First and foremost, you get that warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing that you're helping what may or may not be your favourite fan community to survive in this cold, dark, and capitalistic society in which we live in... but if warm fuzzy feelings don't quite do it for you, all active donors also receive the following perks:

• 150x200 avatars (50px longer than the normal 150x150 limit), and 150KB for uploaded avatars (as opposed to the normal 100KB)
• 600x200 signature images (twice as large as the normal 600x100 limit)
• 500 KB file limit on profile background images (vs. 255 KB limit normally)
• space for 500 private messages (twice as much as the normal 250 limit)
• the ability to change your member title
• a golden username
• attachments in PM conversations

 

You may see non subscribers or donors with unique member titles. That is because they donated in the past and their most recent title change is still visible. Staff also have the ability to alter title as a perk due to volunteering to support the site's various functions.
