The Elements of Disharmony

"Yay! A new one! Oooo! Dark magic! And you smell chaos magic too! That's three of us already! And portals! I knew this cake attract portals but so quickly...How exiting! Come and join us! We have cake!"

 

Missklang jumped at the newcomer as soon as he appeared and started hugging him, crushing him on the ground.

 

"Do you want cake?"

The weakened, semiconscious stallion attempts to concentrate on a spell, but his smooth, curved, black horn that fades into crimson near the tip doesn't hold the aura, not having enough to cast a spell. Exhausted by the effort, he slinks into sleep, his aura of Disharmony only growing, an obvious canidate for Elements of Disharmony. Suddenly, it all concenrates into pure avarice, a malicious hunger for something, and a willingness to do anything in order to get it. At the moment, however, that thing seems to be rest.

In that moment, his smooth, curved, black horn that fades into scarlet at the tip starts to glow, but is incapable of holding the aura. Exhausted by the effort, I seem to radiate an avarice incredibly potent, craving for something with an inescapable willingness to do anything to get it. Oddly, however, is that that thing appears to be sleep.

"Hey! You cant just ignore me you party pooper! Come on wake up! You are not very nice you know? Did I hugged him to hard? Well, no cake for sleeping beauties. But you seem hungry... Ok, I'll leave a slice for you. Don't thank me."

 

Missklaang stood up, pulled a bed cover and covered the unicorn. After that, he trotted toward Alpha who was standing near the giant rift.

 

"Hey Alpha! Scan that sleeping one. I might be usefull if you know with what kind of magic you are dealing with. Cake?"

 

A slice levitated off the cake and Missklang started munching it.

 

"MMmmm! thith ith thooo good!"

It quickly becomes apparent that he's healing faster; as his high degree of burns seem to already be healing over, even though his coat is still burning. In only a few hours, I should- I stop thinking to myself. Oh, my... This is a veritable BUFFET around me... I might not have to rest at all! So much hatred... I could just STUFF myself FULL! I begin to feed off the nearby hatred, gorging myself on the alicorn's in particular, as everyone (with the apparent absence of Missklang) around me starts feeling a draining sensation. My wounds start closing up much faster.

"Knives...ok then. that's...interesting." Flame said. He cautiously stepped through the portal. "Hopefully there won't any knives in this place." He said. He noticed fuchowa had entered the portal as well, he stared at him. "I don't think this is a good idea, let's just move on away from them. I don't want any trouble here." He said

"Oh great let's just invite more EFFing ponies to join this little gathering. Just what we all EFFing needed just now." Spikus's anger at the five new arrivals to the location was palpable. He tore the party hat from his head glaring at Missklang. "Oh good even the clown is here. (sarcasm) By all means let's just all drop whatever we're doing and just cater to his whims. (/sarcasm)" He was so angry at the increase in the number of ponies in the cave that the tree of harmony is in that he wasn't even paying attention to the apparent harm that one of the new arrivals was causing to him.

Dark Façade smiled at the ponies that came through the portal. He knew what was coming. He waited, and then watched as party bomb exploded over everything. Façade slipped away, and walked up to the tip of the cliff. He found a nice looking rock and leaned against it. Façade pulled out his Elements of Disharmony Book and pulled off the fake cover. The the only difference between the fake title and real one was only three letters. He sighed and continued on Chapter 13, Why We Have Friends.

At this point, my wounds have completely healed, and I'm now at full magic, my avarice at it's peak.

"So, what's going on around here? Are those what I THINK they are?" My eyes focus on the Elements of Harmony in their tree. "And, what are you doing, Prince?" I, somehow, manage to say "Prince" as some might say "cur".

Dark Façade smiled at the ponies that came through the portal. He knew what was coming. He waited, and then watched as party bomb exploded over everything. Fuchowa sensed the portal open, he also sensed a few of Twilight's 'Elements of Harmony' step through said portal. But he was too busy concentrating on his spell to worry about them at the moment. Within minutes his spell was ready. Fuchowa spoke loudly, his voice blocking out any other noise, "If you have been sent here by Twilight to stop me," he said addressing the ponies that had come through the portal, "then I'm afraid you are too late." Fuchowa fired a beam of dark energy into the tree of harmony coursing the tree to darken in colour. As he predicted the Elements of Harmony that were stuck in the tree became their dark brothers. Five of the Elements broke loose from the tree and made their way to their respective owners. The Element of Cruelty flew towards Jinx, the Element of Cruelty flew towards Spikus, the Element of Deceit flew towards Façade, the Element of Gloom flew towards Assassin and finally the Element of Selfishness flew towards the unknown pony who had shown up out of nowhere {Marion Ette}. Fuchowa grinned wickedly, "You see ponies," Fuchowa to the Elements of Harmony, "you simply cannot win. We have power beyond your comprehension." As Fuchowa finished speaking the Elements of Disharmony attached themselves to the ponies they had flown towards. Fuchowa watched as his Element bearers were given true power and laughed manically.

Missklang threw the cake in Fuchowa's face. 

 

"So you have the power to destroy equestria. Big deal. Why those ponies even follow you? Did yo even ask them if they wan't to fight? Did you bribe them with something? I think you lie to them. Ponies like you don't share power with others."

 

He turned his head to the EoD.

 

"If I were you, I wouldn't use those nasty things too long. They are the opposite of the EoH, and that means that it is them who will control you, not you them. Your mind will become corrupted and you will become monsters. Just saying."

 

He turned toward his friends and saw that the portal was closing. He used his magic to keep it open.

 

"Hey guys, we are not strong enough to deal with them now. Go back to Poniville and warn Twilight! I'm sure she will figure somehing. Quickly! I can't keep the portal open too long! I have enough magic to let the portal teleport two people. GO!"

 

The portal would stay open some minutes, but it would close immediately when two ponies cross it. They were not ready and didn't have the power to take over the (almost?) full team of EoD.

Alpha flinches when he sensed all the power, as his magical aura was very susceptible to magic attacks, the sheer evil power almost fainted him.

Missclang! I'll help with the portal! As alpha surged a load of his power into the portal, in which conparasion as less than 1/10 of his power. And then he replied I have a plan, there should be enough power to transport all of us except one....

... And I'll stay here to try to reason with them, I cant put my friends in danger, please Missclang, go...

 

"I'm not going to waste time arguing with you about who shall stay here. You cant reason with them. One by one maybe but not all together. You will be destroyed by their magic while I have a chance to escape. Don't forget that I have lot of enchanted arsenal in my bag. I can defend myself. I have some tricks to avoid physical and magical damage too so I have more chances than you. Do you think I'll let them kill me or something? Of course not! Now go! I won't repeat myself twice."

"I'm not going to waste time arguing with you about who shall stay here. You cant reason with them. One by one maybe but not all together. You will be destroyed by their magic while I have a chance to escape. Don't forget that I have lot of enchanted arsenal in my bag. I can defend myself. I have some tricks to avoid physical and magical damage too so I have more chances than you. Do you think I'll let them kill me or something? Of course not! Now go! I won't repeat myself twice."

Hey! They still don't know I'm immune to physical hits, I'm staying here, no matter what!

As alpha primed his horn, he shot out a beam that covered both of them, as he also forced the rest of the Bearers into the portal, and suddenly closed it. You should be quite vernurable to magic, I am very susceptible, the

East I can do is put up a few wards for you, I on the other hand, have a few fail proof spells that should reform them and change the tree back...

After the element attached itself, he felt darkness coursing through his blood. "Alpha, for your friends' sake— run!" And with that Dark Façade jumped down to where the other elements were and glared at Fuchowa, "what are these things doing to us?" Façade asked menacely.

They should be held down for a about 10 minutes or so, they shouldn't be able to move, but with their elements, they have an advantage over us...

But Alpha remembered Twilight telling him one stormy night, when they were studying, that something about the elements were her friends, and the Physical Elements only helped her realized that...

Alpha took a deep breath and said Then do it... If I can help tell me, just use your original plan, I may not survive, but that is minor compared to what would happen to Equestria if we failed. When Alpha finished his sentence, he started opening dozens of rifts, and rips near them, things started pouring out, from swords to cupcakes, fire to boots, he concentrated and made a wall, with strong magical and physical wards, and sat down and closed his eyes, meditating to continue his focus..

Façade then pulled out his longsword from his bag of tricks. He pulled on his Death Priest outfit on. Façade then tackled Alpha and slipped a note to him. Detailing what he planned. Alpha shuddered as he felt something go through him, causing him to lose all his focus, thus dispelling the spell that held down the EoD. He saw a note that said "I'm am off to Canterlot... To kill the princesses-DF" Alpha shouted to Missclang Missclang! Use you plan, I must go to Canterlot, the princesses are in trouble! Alpha ripped a portal and went in. It tingled his body, and he appeared floating above the Canterlot castle, and saw a Pegasus flying words him, he shouted Façade, please, that's a capital crime, you'll be excucuted, also Royal guards have orders to protect the castle. If they see you, I doubt they'll let you get a trial, they are just to loyal, please, tell me why you are doing this?!

Façade rocket towards the castle, and saw the front gate and smiled. He pulled out his long sword and knife. And dropped down between the guards. He quickly knocked them all out. Façade yelled at Alpha "Go Away! Save yourself you!"

No! and he muttered I hope Celestia forgives me for doing this but... And Alphas eyes begin to glow, energy surging from his body, into every single Royal guard, and turned them gray(OOC, basically I just turned all the Royal guards discorded, so they are non loyal, and don't follow orders, etc.) teleported to Façade and noticed one of his hoofs is quickly dissipating, and realized he had finally crossed the line, and his body is running close to no magic. He quickly shook off the feeling. Please, tell me what you are doing, I might be able to help!

The portals shut. The place was in a huge mess. Missklang looked up at the sky. Strangely enough, it was an early evening, the sun was about to set. The time run by so quickly. He rethought about this day, the events certainly happened very fast. And all started with him falling from the cliff. He indeed planned to annihilate the magic, but he realized that the device he was referring was int the bag. THE bag, the one detonated this morning. No chance he could dig it from the mess that currently fill it. He still had to convince Alpha to leave. It worked. Strange how cruel destiny can be sometimes. Like "Nah, I don't think so. It's too easy, here some challenges for you".

 

"If only I knew..."

 

Missklang liked the forest. It was mysterious, filled with secrets and dangers, but yet, it was free. Free from the ponies who run everything in this world. It doesn't need pegasus to change it weather, or unicorns to change it's season, or earth ponies to keep plants growing. That's why they dislike it. It's something that they couldn't control. But enough with that, he was in danger, he could think of all this later, and as far away from here as possible...

 

He turned to the elements of disharmony and laughed nervously.

 

"Hey guys, nice weather isn't it? Say Fuchowa, I hope you are not too mad at me for throwing a cake at you right? It's just a bad habit of mine. Don't worry, I'll make another cake. If I have the chance. Well, that was extremely pleasant to meet all of you, but look at the time! I'm super late for....A party! Yes! A party. I promised I pass by and I'm already late. I'll go there right now if you don't mind. It's really far from here so I'll have to run to get there in time..."

 

As he finished to speak, Missklang turned around and started running away.

Façade played the scenario through his mind again, and again. Then Dark Façade acted. He jumped up into the air and flew straight to Alpha. He was starting to fade away. Façade knew Alpha needed magic to heal, then he glanced down at the Element of Deceit upon his chest. Façade pulled out his bag, cursing his luck. He then pulled out some magicked howlite. It was used for purifying corrupted magic, and Façade knew how to use it. He pulled off the Dark Element and willed out the darkness. It was part of him, the lies, the treachery, the malice within his heart, but the dark magic was being purified, and damn the consequences. Alpha was absorbing the purified magic up like a sponge.

Flamestreak saw Façade tackle shadow strike and then swiftly fly away. Flame thought about chasing after him but Shadow had beaten him to it. He turned around trying to find Missklang so they could get out of the place, Only to find him running away from the area. Flame found it ironic how he was the that wanted to leave earlier and now he was the only one in the EoH still there. Flame turned around to meet the eyes of the rest of the EoD. He stared back in particular at the male Alicorn who acted as the leader.
