The Elements of Disharmony

Rubble shot outwards in many directions as the fountain felt the full force of the impact. He swiftly turned towards Facade knowing that he avoided the crash. Spikus was covered in minor scrapes and dust from the obliteration of the fountain but ignored it all. He raised his hooves high above he head and brought them down like sledgehammers over Facade.

"Hey, Alpha! how are you? Where you've been? How you know I'm strangely colored? Can you see through the illusion I put on myself? Facade is in Poniville. He is going to battle with the element of cruelty... Why do I think he is one of the elements? Let me demonstrate..."

 

Missklang quickly pulled the generosity boulder stone from his bag and dropped it on Salt. The stone make Salt fell on the floor from it weight, but as soon as it touched him, it started to glow purple and the diamond shape carved on it emitted bright light.

 

"Fancy right? Mine glows too when I hold it. But only half as bright, though..."

"Oof," I muttered, falling to the ground, "Thank you for the gift but..." I then noticed everything had stopped, including Missklang and Alpha. I then saw memories of the past bearer of the Element of Generosity, and everything seemed to click. As I saw the memories go by, the many similarities between the past bearer and I, I realized that I was the new bearer of the Element of Generosity. It was then that it finally hit me. The blade I designed after my mother's dress. It was based on one of the dresses that the past bearer made. As the memories faded, the purple diamond started to morph into a purple blade. It was at this point that time continued. I was dazed and confused, yet I could see clearly now, except for the fact that I possibly had a trap in front of me.

Façade ducked to the side, so instead of his head cracking, his back right leg broke. Façade tumbled and rolled away. And stood on his hooves, as best as he could. "If they call you cruel, then why do you restrain yourself? I see a light where others can't, you're better than that Spikus." Façade stood his ground.

Façade then sensed the power of the Elements of Harmony. "Shite! The're stuck in here too." Façade stood before Spikus. He sensed Spikus was about to charge, but Façade felt sluggish, and then he noticed the broken leg was bleeding. Façade shook himself awake. He wasn't gonna make it. Façade was going to die if he didn't get fixed. Façade yelled at Spikus, "If you're cruelty, then kill me! If you're what you think you are, then just do it!" Façade stared long and hard at Spikus.

Finally getting my eyesight back, I realized we were still in Ponyville. "Missklang, you do realize that you just trapped us and Twilight here while Spikus and Facade are fighting, right?" I said, looking around for Twilight, Facade, and Spikus, judging whether to run or fight.

That's not good, at least we have the full team I believe, where is the princess? As he waited them to reply, he went back to zenithian dimension, he quickly glanced around, realizing the room had been ransacked, leaving a strange symbol in the middle of the room, seared into the arcane..

I start searching around, before noticing my shop and getting over there, grabbing the sapphire coated shield from the package before looking around for Princess Twilight. I then remembered someone who looked like her at Sugarcube Corner, so I went back to the group, with sword and shield, before asking Missklang, "Would we be able to get through the time bubble without bursting it?"

Façade stood at standoff with Spikus. Façade knew with no certain amount of doubt that Spikus could easily kill him. It would not end well. "Spikus, listen to reason! Fuchowa has you enslaved to his will. You're just an extension of Fuchowa. You're not one for destroying everything." Façade put a hoof on Spikus's shoulder, "you're better than him."

 

 

Twilight looked about the time frozen Ponyville. "Who ever did this is pretty powerful. She then sensed something at the center of town, something was happening, when she spotted Missklang, Salt Slice, and Alpha. She quickly flew over and dropped down, and addressed the ragtag group before her. "Where are the others? What are you doing? Why is everypony armored for war... Then she heard the loud laughter of Fuchowa behind her.

 

"It's too late, the Elements of Harmony have been corrupted into their dark brothers! There is no chance for you now." Fuchowa landed, he wore no armor, he just had two sharpened swords. Fuchowa swung them in wide arcs, the blades' handles held by his magic. "Now you die, Princess of Magic."

Spikus had stopped trying to attack mostly because of running out of energy having used most of his stamina on the buildings of Ponyville. He could hear Facade trying to talk to him only detecting a calmness in the tone not being able to distinguish the words. When Facade placed his hoof on Spikus's shoulder for some reason Spikus began calming back down and the Element of Cruelty around his neck stopped pulsating. "What the EFF just happened? Where am I?" Spikus began asking confusedly. He noticed that Facade was touching his shoulder and he immediately shot backwards recoiling from the contact. "Who the EFF said that you could touch me?!" Spikus asked angrily. He could see that Facade was injured and that he himself was covered in scrapes but he ignored that for now.

Spikus was confused, and Façade then smiled, "Don't take this personally" and Façade slugged Spikus in the face. "Alrighty then, glad I kept those bronze hooves" (OOC: bronze knuckles) Façade picked up the dazed pegasus and limped to the hospital. "Let's see if I can fix us up." He muttered to himself. Façade dropped the dazed Pegasus on a bed in the hospital. Then Dark Façade started to clean up his leg, and saw the bone. "Wonderful," and he grabbed some sheets rolled them tight, and bit down on them. Façade then set his leg. And yelled in agony.

"It's too late, the Elements of Harmony have been corrupted into their dark brothers! There is no chance for you now. Now you die, Princess of Magic."

 

 

"Noooo!"

 

Missklang appeared in front of him, shielding Twilight ith his own body. His pupils were now but two thin lines, barely  visible in the deep red of his eyes. His horn glowed, as two conjured gauntlets appeared on his front hooves. Each one had three claws on it. The left one was as dark as night while the other was white as the purest winter snow. He crossed them in front of himself, catching the two blades.

 

"I won't let it happen. Not again. Not on my watch. I shall protect the ones I hold dear to me. Even if I perish in the prosess..."

I quickly took the chance, rushing around the others and going for a slice at Fuchowa. At this point my mind was in a state of adrenaline from the action, fear of Fuchowa, Missklang, and Alpha, and anger at Missklang for not thinking to look for Twilight before casting the time bubble.

"Idiot, you have no chance of defeating me, even with your corrupt origins. The fall to the Princesses begins today! You may want to fight, but you are not my adversary, just an annoyance." And with that Fuchowa opened a portal and through Missklang into it. "Enjoy wherever you're going, because you're not coming back!" And Fuchowa closed the portal. And looked at @@BrineBlade, "I shall kill you first." And launched at Salt Slice with his blades humming.

Façade woke up, and felt Missklang enter the shadowverse. "Oh shit...." As Façade realized the full implications of mixing Missklang's chaos magics with shadow magic.... Or the Nightwalker's.

Missklang appeared in front of him, shielding Twilight ith his own body. His pupils were now but two thin lines, barely  visible in the deep red of his eyes. As Alpha watched Missklang put himself into the line of danger, he shouted Klaatu Barada Nikto! And a thick purple beam with black specks came out of the Element of Magic, shattering it's self into projection a insanely powerful ray, the deadliest known to ponykind, shot forward instantly incinerating the two blades Fuchowa wielded, alone with making a deep crack in the ground.

The shattered element started to glow and pieces of it started to float towards Alpha...

Spikus woke up on the hospital bed and looked around. "Well that makes twice today I didn't know where the EFF I was." He looked over and saw Facade panicking. "Oh so you're panicking for no reason now, or rather you should be panicking because you straight up stabbed me earlier after taunting me and then you just knocked me the EFF out for no reason. You're more of a jerkwad than I am and that's saying something." Spikus had no memory of the events that transpired during his rage induced rampage. He got out of the bed and stood up.

With Fuchowa coming towards me, I put up the shield in defense until I noticed the start of what looked to be a powerful attack. I was thrown a foot or two from the blast, giving me enough time to see Fuchowa without his blades. Within the second, I put my blade in a position to stab him with his own momentum.

The sound disappeared and all the colors suddenly faded... Everything seemed to froze in place. A black door appeared in the middle of the battle.It opened in a flash. Missklang was standing in the doorway. However, he was on the other side of the doorway. But he was different. His mane seemed to be a wild flame, as his face was defigured by anger.

 

"You seems to forget who I am... I am the highest level chaos magician after Discord himself. I spent years studying and visiting another dimension. Did you really think that sending me in another dimension would prevent me from ruining your pathetic plans? You leave me no choice. Guess who I met in the shadowverse? The creator of the EoD. He made me an offer I wasn't able to refuse."

 

His horn glowed with an insanely bright glow. It slowly got brighter and brighter. Cracks started to appear on his body, slowly spreading from the horn. He summoned all the magic that he had ever collected through the entire length of his life, as well as the shadow magic he gained recently, putting it together in one powerful spell, sacrificing himself in the process. With the last move, he directed all that energy to Fuchowa, in a form of a deadly beam.

Façade felt the ripple, the release of shadow magic. "Missklang!" Façade launched right out of the window, shattering it as he entered a black and gray sonic rainboom. Façade landed and saw Fuchowa writhing in pain. Façade grabbed a hoof and dragged him to the open portal. He pulled Fuchowa inside, and watched the portal close. Then Façade heard the Nightwalker's metal-screeching voice, "Your friend is not dead, just not here... I think you need to visit a rather different place first though. Missklang is a spirit, certain incidents have caused an upset in the balance to make him so. So here's the price, your exile or his. Dark Façade, you shouldn't have left your element behind, but you did, which caused, partially, this." Façade thought for a moment, and then asked "Shall I ever return? And to where do I go?"

 

The Nightwalker flaming white eyes stared at him. "My price is three years exile to another place, and then everything is paid— in full,though I shall retain just your services if needed. As for Fuchowa— I've been waiting for over a millennium to recollect his dues, which is now blood." The Nightwalker picked up Fuchowa with magic and sent him into a portal filled with screams. Façade dropped out of the shadowverse. He would leave in twelve hours.

 

Façade returned to see some of his friends, and waited for the other two to come, well one and a half.

"So, what just happened?" I asked, confused between the two lasers of death, Missklang appearing and disappearing, and Fuchowa being taken out. "D-did we just win?" I asked, a bit scared at how easy it seemed. Almost too easy.

 

Something didn't feel right though. 'Missklang said something about the creator of the Elements of Disharmony... I almost wonder... was Fuchowa just a pawn? And if so, if what I think happens does happen, fear Celestia help us all.'

"That pony just ignored me while I was talking to him... He's gonna feel this tomorrow and for the next week!" said Spikus as he flew out the window after Facade had left. He saw as Fuchowa was dragged into the portal and that the former Element of Deceit that had rushed out as Spikus was talking to him was the one that did it. "Oh come on what am I supposed to do with this thing now?!" Yelled Spikus whom crashed down angrily in front of Facade pointing to the Element of Cruelty around his neck.

"Well first off, you can surrender," I said to Spikus almost instinctively, holding my sword right near him, "Considering you not only put the entire town into a state of panic, but you put everybody here, including yourself, in danger. And second, you can help us find the other Bearers of Disharmony."

Façade watched the sun start to set, and looked at Spikus, "Define what it means. It's your's, the Nightwalker doesn't need it." Façade smiled as the warm colors played across his face. "Enjoy something in life Spikus, there is no reason you can't be evil, but I think it's more fun to good, especially when I have good friends." Façade remembered what Salt Slice had said, he thought it had been rather easy, compared to some of the things that Façade had done. He turned to Salt Slice "It was easy, because we made sacrifices for the rest of Ponykind, and when you work together things get rather simple. But my time nearly up." Façade watched the beautiful sunrise as the purple colors. Then Façade felt something hang around his necklace. "Purified Howlite...." Dark Façade said as he looked at the simple necklace, in the shape of a sword.

Then Façade saw the interchange of talk behind him. "Let him redeem himself, otherwise when I come back I'll cut off his head." Façade stood up and started walking down the wrecked street that was once Main Street in Ponyville. He found his safe he left in the Sugarcube Corner at the beginning of this mess, no one else had known about it. Façade motioned for Salt Slice to come over to him. "Here's a little gift." And Façade passed the safe with files containing all the information on the Elements of Disharmony.

I moved the sword away from Spikus and went to Facade, "I wish I had the chance to know you all before you depart, but if this is how it must be, then it is as it is. All I can hope is that you and Missklang will be able to find peace in one way or another." I said to Facade before taking the files, "Thank you. Hopefully you're correct in letting him redeem himself." I then noticed that the cracks in the ground were starting to heal from the time bubble's effects.

"Oh sure just because I have an Element of Disharmony I'm automatically evil. I only accept the freaking offer because I was bored. I'm antisocial not evil there's a EFFing difference you know. I'm neutral if anything. Good and evil are just so boring and both require the other for any kind of conflict to occur which is what makes situations interesting." said Spikus indignantly completely disregarding the sword at his throat. "You're a bit slow this is the second time I've had a blade pointed at me in the last 24 hours and that didn't end well for either of us. Which reminds me..." he trailed off and turned to Facade. Spikus then brought his hoof upside Facade's head and punched(?) him in the throat. ​"That's for knocking me unconscious and that's for stabbing me in the chest with a weird thing in that order of relevance to me." he said directly to Facade.

Façade felt the pinch and fell punch. "You have an interesting way of saying thank you." Façade lifted himself. Then Façade took off all his gear, his white robes, cowls, armor, swords, knives, potions, bombs and other assorted items. "These are for you two. Divide what is here, tell Missklang that I'll be back. Good Day, My Brethren" Façade saw a large storm ahead. And walked down the dirt path to the storm. Façade then saw the rainbow colored lightning, and then Façade was struck, it hurt like Tartarus, but it awoke the senses, and Façade slipped the barrier between worlds. Not to be seen again for three years. And the strange storm disappeared in an instant. Dark Façade then ceased to exist in that Equestria.

After Facade left, I turned to Spikus, "No, it's not because you bore the Element of Disharmony, it's because of the damage you did. If Facade hadn't stepped in, I can tell you right now, with your injuries, you wouldn't be able to take me. But I will respect his wishes." I looked over the weapons and grabbed just a single knife. "If you give us the Element and leave, I won't give chase, for I know how being antisocial can be."
