The time loop worked perfectly. Never in his life Missklang cast a spell so difficult. He knew that they won't win the fight. Not with ONE try. He had to try. But the price was high. As he was the one who cast the spell, it was him that looped every time. He had to live the same day, again and again. In order to figure out how to defeat Fuchowa without any losses on his side. He watched his friends die, over and over again. Each time he looped back, he changed the layout of the battlefield, changing the weather, saying the right thing, influencing the behavior of his friends in order to keep everyone alive. The most difficult was probably Facade. He witnessed so many times as he died, crushed or torn apart. He looped so many times, each time, trying to memorise Spikus's next move. In the end, he figured out the optimal combat choreography that he had to imprint in Facade's mind so he dodge in the right direction, he couldn't dodge all, but at least he would be alive. However, Fuchowa still won every time, over and over no matter what. He used a spell that drain all of the power of the bearers of the EoD in order to become so powerful, that even Twilight couldn't stop him, killing the bearers of the EoD in the process. In the end, he always had that final laugh, striking through the silence that covered Poniville as he stood among the lifeless bodies of his enemies. There was only one option left. A final deathblow to Fuchowa, before he had the chance to use his trick. But it required the death of Missklang's physical body. He knew that he had only one try. The loop would be broken... He had to defeat Fuchowa. He couldn't endure seeing his friends die. He won't let it happen. Not again. Not on his watch...

The Nightwalker saw Missklang, "You've caused yourself a great amount of pain, but your friend has exchanged his freedom in Equestria for your's. I would honor that sacrifice of I was you." The Nightwalker then transported himself between the Elements of Harmony. The sky around Ponyville grew darker. "I have few words for you— ponies" The Nightwalker said the words carefully. "Do not be afraid of my Elements, for they are now.... useless. Also I come with a warning. Beware the machine. And before you ask, don't." The Nightwalker then dissipated violently into a cloud of black smoke.

The shards of the element of magic formed around his hoof, a intricate machine, ticking, moving, and finally he realized this was a enchanted timepiece, capable of changing time itself, Alpha slowly hummed a sad tune, one a mare taught him before she left this world. I must return this to the original timeline, before destruction comes. Oh Missklang, I will miss you... As Alpha turned back the clock to the past, he thought of all the things he did, all the friends he made, and all the adventures he had. He finally pressed the glowing gem in the center and a vortex, opened, through time and space he stepped through, into a void and saw the princess...

Hello Alpha, you and your friends have defeated this great threat, why are you looking so sad?

Well princess, I am happy that we have defeated Fuchowa, but I'm and quite sad that in doing so, took my friends....

As Twilight and Alpha slowly walked down the void, scenes from both ponies lives appeared before them, and finally Twiligth caster a spell that brought him back to her castle, and gave Alpha a book...

"As every adventure has an end, there will be a beginning, a beginning of a new adventure... ~Alpha"

He finally closed the now full book and layer it across his table, and thought to himself Twilight is right, I mustn't forget all the fun I've had with my friends, even how little. He had finally decided to write to Twilight before he went to sleep.

"Dear Princess Twilight,

I would like to request a powerful gem to be enchanted, so I could bring back my friends, from the dead, and from existence. I hope you understand.

~Your Most Faithful Student, Alpha Govel" and sent the scroll on its way...

Façade looked about Equestria, everything looked the same.... Then he saw Alpha. Coming out of Princess Twilight's castle. Then he heard a voice in his head. "We have work to do. First, knock out your friend, there's going to be an explosion, then kidnap Twilight, because otherwise EIS does." Façade blinked, "WHO THE BUCK IS IN MY HEAD!?!?" Façade then realized he probably had alerted Alpha. "Shite," Façade scrambled up the side of a house. Keeping hidden.

Missklang was lost in the forest. Since the moment he ran away from the tree of harmony, he wondered in the woods, hoping he would eventually see something. 

 

"Now that Fuchowa had reverted the EoH to EoD," he thought to himself " I wonder how we will going to win... Such a cake ruined!"

 

He stopped. He sensed powerful magic coming from the left. No doubt, there was a fight... He ran towards it and soon emerged from the forest. Before him was Poniville. Completely ruined. He ventured through the deserted town and stumbled into a green pony with blue and yellow mane and a sword for a cutie mark. (Salt)

 

"Hello good sir! How are you? My name is Missklang and you? Would you please be so kind and explain what happened to the city? I heard a battle, but I was too far to witness it myself."

I turned to Missklang, and was speechless as to what was going on. "Y-you're alive? But how? I thought you died after defeating Fuchowa with that giant laser. Unless..." I paused, "What's the last thing you remember?" I asked, wondering if this was a side effect of the time bubble.

"You know me? I'm surprised. I never met you before. I forget lot of things, but once I saw somepony, their face is forever carved in my memory. You probably mistook me for somepony else. I don't recall dying in like hundred years or so... Neither I woke up with no memories. I was consciously lost in the woods. What is that I hear from you? Somepony defeated Fuchowa? What a shame. I intended to invite him to a party. But you intrigued me. Not many ponies look like me. It's hard to mistake me for someone else. Would you be a dear and tell me more? I'm all ears..."

"Well, for me it started when I got back to Ponyville..." I explained to Missklang all of what happened, and what he had told me trying to catch me up, as well as the huge battle with Fuchowa and the Time Bubble. "...and once Facade left, the time bubble repaired the town. Maybe one of the effects of the bubble is that somehow, when you died, the bubble gave you new life, then again, I'm not sure. Maybe Process Twilight can help us understand what's going on." I say before going towards Sugarcube Corner to talk with Twilight.

"Me? Sacrificing myself? Don't be ridiculous! I won't do such stupid thing! I have a party to plan after all. I shall repeat again. I never died today I clearly remember running away from Fuchowa and wander in the woods. I didn't even took a single nap. But this affair very mysterious. I should indeed talk to the princess. She is the one who knows lot about déja-vus, clones and other similar matter. Perhaps it coud even be an Umbra pony. But the round stones of harmony is an important detail as well. I thought Fuchowa turned them to EoD, but somehow, the other "me" managed to provide you with another set... If you don't mind, I will follow you to the royal residence"

Alpha happily trotted out of Twilights castle, Twilight next to him, as they were discussing difficult spells and rare books.

Very well princess twilight, I'll give you the Arcanian Spell Tome I have acquired in my travels to Tartarus, and in return you teach me how to separate my magic from my physical body?

Aw, way Alpha, because you are my student, if you asked, I would teach you the proper way to do what you want, the book I am afraid, is quite powerful, I must study it before anything, is that ok?

Why yes princess, see you tomorrow for our advanced magic studies?

While Alpha trots down the path, humming a cheerful tune, he bumps into a red looking pony and his friends, and he asked after accidentally pushed them down. Why hello! I'm so sorry, what brings you here today?

Façade cocked his head sideways, that pony was not Alpha. Façade launched up and tackled the pony. Which then revealed itself to be a changlings. Façade ran inside the castle, and clobbered two guards. "What the buck is wrong with this place" as the guards turned out to be changlings. Façade ran to the main throne room, except that there was only one throne. That's when he saw Crysalis "Ah yes, my new recruit. I sense you had an easy enough time getting here?" Then another pony walked in, and it looked like Façade, but then everyone looked at me. "Oh Buck." Façade then realized he had no swords.... The changlings lost about twenty to capture Façade, but capture him they did.

"Please! We aren't going to walk till the castle, are we? Such a waste of time and effort if you ask me! Come closer, I shall accelerate the process."

 

Missklang grabbed Salt and before he could object on the matter, teleported him and himself to Twilight's room. Salt teleported on the bed, safely landing on the pillows but Missklang fell directly on Twilight's head.

 

"Twilight! My goodness! You look gorgeous! What are you doing here? Even if Fuchowa is gone, don't we have the other elements of disharmony to catch? Stop wasting your precious infinite time reading those....Very interesting books about the ancient spells and high level rituals of dark magic! Elements can wait. Give me one so I can join you in reading!"

Façade woke up, and saw he was tied to a chair. "Who are you? We've already killed Dark Façade. Yet you look exactly like him?" Façade blinked at the bright lights, and then his vision returned. Crysalis was standing before him.... in the armory? Façade smiled inwardly. "I am Dark Façade, Element of Disharmony and Scion of the Nightwalker. Question is Chrysalis, is what are you doing?" Façade stared long and hard at her. She left. "What the buck?" Façade didn't understand why Chrysalis left.

As Twilight was in the middle of a spell, a pony teleported into the room and landed on her

Owww? Who are you? And why are you in my castle?

Twilight realized the strange pony might be trying to rob her of powerful books, and quickly put a spell protecting the books from further harm...

The Nightwalker observed Missklang, and then saw the Missklang Spirit, "I believe that you would be more helpful to your friend, then your being here. I'll send you to him." (OOC: if you're in a alternative dimension put 'alternate dimension' on top of your post) and The Nightwalker sent Missklanf to Façade. Then he continued to watch the scene before him in Twilight's Castle.

Just as I was about to argue with Missklang, he teleported us right to Twilight's room. Now even more confused, as I thought Twilight was at Sugarcube Corner, I barely got a sound out of my mouth before noticing Missklang disappeared. "Sorry about this, Princess. At this point I'm so confused it hurts. This is either a side effect of the time bubble, or some sort of paradox."

Alpha jumped out of a portal holding a box of Griffin Scones and Crystal Flowers, and muttered to himself

 

Crap, wrong time, and wrong dimension, I wonder if any pony needs my help here...

 

As he trotted into the Everfree, he went to the temple of Discord, where he got his cutie mark there, and where he met his teachers, Twilight and Discord. He noticed that everything was undisturbed and that same piece of cloth from his backpack which ripped in the stones, still lay there, but now dusty.

 

He placed the timepiece on the pedestal and said Oh Discord, mentor and teacher, I request you to take this timepiece, and for you to heal the princess, your dearest student, alpha...

The cracks in the pedestal glowed red and the timepiece was enveloped, in its place was a note, a round Boulder and the timepiece.

 

"Why hello there Alpha, I'm really busy and can't teach you for a week or so, I have a present for you, it's a rock, and it's time..."

Missklang tried to grab the book out of Twilight's hoofs but suddenly, something pulled him from this dimension. He turned around to see Chrysalis coming out of an armory of some sort

 

"Ow! How exciting! Chrissie! How are you doing? Long time no seen! I realy missed you you know. You know that you can take as much of my infinite love for chaos and other stuff as you want. So what's the news?

Façade smashed his chair on the wall, setting himself free. Façade found a set of peasant clothing, and put it on. Then he scrounged around the armory and grabbed several weapons and such, when he saw it. "You've got to be bucking kidding me." Façade saw a suit of Changling armor. It was made of their chitin and was very lightweight. Façade grabbed several parts of the suit, the chestplate, shoulder pads, gauntlets and greaves. Façade donned what he taken, leaving the rest of the armor. It would allow for maximum mobility, while still allowing for him to protect himself. Façade cut the sleeves of his shirt, and made sure everything fit. He ran up the stairs when he saw Missklang. "Hell Naw!" Façade yelled as he launched himself at Chrysalis with his short swords drawn.

Missklang horn glowed, stopping Facade and levitate him in mid-air.

 

"Facade! You? Here? I thought you were going to kill Twilight! What is wrong with you, attacking royalty? Forgive him, my Queen, he is a bit impulsive sometimes. Would you be so kind, Facade and explain your rude behavior?.."

Façade looked directly at Missklang. He slapped him, hard, with the flat of his blade. "I don't like changlings, and I don't like being inprisoned by them, either. And what do you mean by 'I was trying to kill Twilight'? I would never do that! And I don't even know where she is!?" The Façade slapped Chrysalis so hard with the flat of his blade he knocked her out. "And why are you defending changlings? Do you know how much work I did for EIS to get those bugs out?" Façade huffed. "Besides I'm in an alternate dimension, how'd you get here?" Chrysalis got back up, and Façade smacked her with the blade again, knocking her unconscious.

Missklang horn glowed, Facade's armor temporary melted just to solidify back as one piece, making him unable to move and unable to get out.

 

"How dare you! Attack and humiliate her! I'm talking about you, leaving us near the tree of harmony, when you left a note to Alpha. I saw your intentions in your eyes. And I had a chance to read the note in the reflection of Alpha's eyes. It said "I'm am off to Canterlot... To kill the princesses-DF" And don't you dare call them bugs! You ponies are no better than them! It's such a shame that there was that despecable misunderstanding between the two races. And Celestia didn't even try to figure out what was the true motives! I was the one who cared for the defeated Crysalis! Her subjects die of starvation and so would she if I hadn't foun her in the edge of the desert. "

"You're my friends you idiot! And I have orders! I wanted to kill Celestia and Luna you dolt! Those changlings assaulted our city! Our country! And this isn't even the same world! So how would you know who she is!? Façade then heard in his head "play along". And he just gave up arguing. "You win, let me down before I lose my temper."

"It's just a point of view you know. They don't steal love you know, the ponies still feel the love. They just take the energy that is created from it. No damage to the pony or it's feelings. If you don't mind, I shall keep you like that for now. You see, the material is resistant. Brute force can't break such armor. Otherwise, what kind of armor would it be? And I think I will let you cool down a bit. I don't want to attack Cryssie again... This world or not, it's similar to me. Such trivial thing as another world is not worth my concern. I couldn't care less."

 

He walked to the fainted queen and start to search his bag for the right medicine.

"Either way, since I'm here," I ask Twilight, remembering that the Elements needed to be brought back in time, and that Alpha, who was missing, had them "I need your help. But first, what is the last thing you remember?" Hoping that I didn't somehow travel back in time.
