One shot. One shot! That's all you need to do to kill him. On top of that, if you take too long to act while he monologues, Reaver will shoot him.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back

It's my favourite game of all time. But the final boss of that game is just bad. The final boss is meant to be the big challenge, the moment where you go face-to-face with the main antagonist and give him/her what they deserve. It's supposed to challenge the player.

This final boss does none of that. In fact all you do is chase Cortex while he tries to fly away.

As much as I love the royal crap out of this game, I can easily take off the nostalgia mask and say that this final boss was quite bad.
