The Season to Inspire

I usually draw characters with human(-like) anatomy, so drawing characters in this style was something new and a bit of a challenge.

 

Needless to say, that is indeed my personalized OC. A first draft of sorts.

As the title suggests, Autumn is a very inspirational season for me. It might even be my favourite season of the year overall.

The shading might be a bit smudgy and all over the place. I haven't touched my tablet in almost two years, so I have some rust to scratch off.

 

Also, hindsight note:

Just remembered, ponies don't have eyebrows ^^;

wow its absolutely beautiful <3<3<3 lovely beautiful landscape and the feeling of falling leaves september of time  colden weather and wind blowing  need more clothing in your closet green pony steps his hoof outside put his jacket on and goes to Raritys Carousel boutiquet o get the hat he ordered

A wonderfully vibrant and colorful piece! Certainly reminds me of why I like taking autumn walks so much, despite the dreary weather. Nothing dreary about this though, you've captured a windy scene quite well, makes me almost taste the crisp autumn air. Stallion's mane camouflages into the bush quite a bit, took me a moment to even realize it. No real major criticisms of this piece though, I really like what you've done here. Keep it up!

Well at certain moments and scenes, yes. But most of the time it just looks like they merge with the eye-lines/-lashes.

I made eyebrows here because of old habit. <_<
