searching SOG : Cobalt 3 - New Atlantis (Human, Military)

I've been really planning about on this roleplay for sometime. Giving careful thought and continuously expanding on how or what I can add to this. Being fluidly bombarded by both off and on's of the possible success.

 

Originally I had planned to implement a type of DnD or Pathfinder style turn base battle system to freshen up the majority of narrative driven roleplays.

 

But due to the amount of information I have to manage I felt immensely overwhelmed. Rather I decided that unique characters would help keep this play a float and hopefully the continuous interest to my fellow players. So inward to the setting and what the FUDGE is happening.

 

The setting takes place in 2064 on the fictional/terracrafted island state of New Atlantis, after beginning process of unlocking the terra growing powers of a newly discovered and EXTREMELY rare element simply refereed as the "Finger of God", Project:Gaia was completed at the beginning of 2055. Now nearly ten years after urbanization from immigrants of North America (now called the North Western Hemisphere Alliance State or NWAS.) and around the world, a state wide pandemic has spread across the entire region. Under lockdown by the Unified Naval Authority the entire state remains under siege and under a conflict by underground factions rising to seek control of this young developing state.

 

The Alliance State military has sent in a specialized unit of unconventional agents to gather intelligence of the situation, link with any friendly guerillas and if possible to stop this waging Shadow War.

 

These agents are formed by the name Special Operations Group: Callsign COBALT.

Character sheet entry.

Each character must maintain an active or former military career. *

 

Country restrictions/Nationality - This operation is being performed by the authorities of NWAS (Mexico, Canada, United States). However the following countries have granted support, they are the following: *

Unified European Provinces (England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Italy, Greece and France)

Israel

Saudi Arabia

Japan

Brazil

Ukraine

Czech Republic

Kazakhstan

Unified Republic of Afghanistan

Turkey.

 

Combat role* !One player must assume role as squad leader.!

The following roles are available:

Rifleman - Standard class.

Field Medic - Able to treat major injuries and use advanced medicines.

Support - Heavy weapons expert. Mild engineer skills.

Marksman - Accurate Ranged unit. High perception.

Demo - Explosives expert. Average engineer skills.

Technician - Electronics expert. Can easily find enemy equipment.

Apparel.* Clothing must be of civilian design. After all the beginning insertion you will be performing recon. Best not to draw attention. You'll need a form of carry pack as required to carry your gear. [Note: The starting season will be late fall. Wear warm clothes.]

 

Backstory* A required minimal paragraph of background must be given about your character. Descibre their personality, their military service, and useful things as needed fit.

 

Character slots are limited. A maximum of four is needed. *

Oh, i wil change the clothes to a red hoodie with white pants and running shoes. I didn't know that you could only have 1 weapon. In that case i wil stick with the SCAR
