He placed the stick into his pocket and said as he released his grip,

It matters not to me, as the athame had served it's purpose. Now that it's made contact with the circle, it's tied, and I made it a contingent spell. It took longer than normal to complete, but it was certainly worth it... I call out one more time, before what is to come to pass finally is set in motion.

"Do you something else of value, Shadow? Gathering intelligence and the element of surprise." I chuckle, my voice shifting from condescending to arrogant."You never asked me what it was I was doing? And what will happen to the stick, when I use it the way I did it? Why it took so long for this particular circle, when the last one didn't take much time at all? I let slip to the telepaths that the next time an Omega uses their power, things will go awry... Things will go very awry...

"Let me guess you were trying to summon something, worse than the other circle summoned. but tell me one thing, do you know if all the stuff I gave you were real. You said you need to be connected to nature, but if it's not nature, then will it work? That's the question for ya, and you disappoint me. I thought you would be one to scare me."

No... My look turns to barely handled cold fury at his implication. I throw my senses open to magic, and check the circle. It has no power. I go completely cold, and look to the power source. If I use the entire power grid, that might be enough alternate energy to summon the creature... I move over to it, putting on a frustrated guise, as I start making a miniscule ley line, to connect to the array I'm about to draw for power transfer, making a brief little tic on the first circle as I pass it, pointing toward the outlet. I put my back against it, slumping, and begin working on the secondary power array, not taking very long at all. I lay in waiting for the next Omega to start using their power, drawing on the energy to cause the chalk to become one with the ground, about a foot down, so the circle can remain there, should you act clever enough to consider I might still have reason for it.

"just accept defeat, I had enough experience, and I played with ya for a bit. "

he took off his gloves and his coat to show both of his arms were metal. He reached out and grabbed the back of the shirt and pulled as he slipped his left foot on the circle.

"Now let's get back in line. I may be new here, but I won't allow anything being that might destroy this place summoned Tell me one thing, your special ability is summoning, am I right?"

I try my best to hold back,and start reasoning that it might be best to pretend that he's won, and is right about everything. I can always mind control him with the hair I palmed earlier... But I end up only taking half my advice.

"My specialty is summoning, that is correct. However, I'm also skilled at creating enchantments, illusionary spells, I'm skilled at sleight of hand, and magic to do with the mind is another skill of mine. I also have minor divination power." I smile at my portfolio, about to continue with it. "Body modification spells for various effects, certain curses, including a wasting curse, and I'm rather skilled at Reanimation Spells, and yes, that means zombies. I can make potions, as well, if I have the right equipment."

a couple of hairs fell out of his pocket. he quickly put his foot on it, hoping no one noticed it.

Enjoying the pleasantries, I nevertheless default to my paranoia, that's allowed me to last this long amongst demons, devils, and Old Ones.

"You should know that names have power in my profession, so you'll be getting what the other one who asked gets. Chuck Finley, Wizard for Hire." I dispense my own greeting, proffering a hand. "At your service."

"I'm up for anything. This one could to almost rival my own power, but needs to be a little quicker. Then again, almost nothing can escape me."

He turned to the group and said, 

"IS there any other omegas that could make me run for my money?"

Noticing the shift in attitude, I find my stay here becoming ever more enjoyable, but noting that I should keep a lower profile from now on. Although, it's not like it matters, as I've already spoken aloud quite a few of the items in my repretoire... I go back to my position at the back, deciding to just hold off on the activation of my contingent spell.

"Do...You....Know....The Muffin Man...." He grinned a horrific smile as he stood up from the ground and stared like a mad dog at his captors. 

 

"For some reason....I felt like something died...nonetheless....I'm back" He smiled , rushing towards a research jockey as he swung his arm swiftly

 

in an arc,  the fingernail tips shooting out like nail guns aimed at their necks.

Shadow saw the nails flying and he teleported in front and raised his arms. The nails poked holes in his jacket. Once it was over, he teleported to the person who did it and said as he took off his shredded jacket,

"That was my favorite jacket. Let's see what you are capable of."

"Oh look" Hyde frowned as he extended his tongue like a whip and licked his teeth. "if it isn' our resident portal freak" he continue ld with a hint of anger. "You realize you're just being used by Victor don't you?" Hyde snarled as he warped both his arms into circular saws.

"Yeah, and your point is, also is that really the best you can do, just change your form? In case you have noticed, all of us are freaks in our own way. I just happen to be stronger than you."

He rotated his neck and started walking away.

"Stronger than me?" Hyde grinned as extended his arms to his side warping them into various horrific and dangerous weapons to show off. "I'm a walking army!" He laughed with a wolfish tone.

 

"You're just the Federal express" He snickered his sharp teeth shown clear from his smile.

Shadow teleport behind and said as he grabbed the back of the neck,

"I don't think so. if you are an army, how come I can get you so easily. I can dodge 99% of things. I have better teeth than you. So you basically a swiss army knife. What's your name, prisoner, You already know mine."

Hyde quickly extended the bone in the back of his neck into a sharp blade that pierced through shadows grip and through his hand.

"heh, figures" Hyde scoffed. "I've been here for years and you freaks don't even bother remembering my name" Hyde snarled as he formed his fingers into bone claws 14 inches in length.

 

"perhaps I should fix that"

 

"burn this into your memory predator"

He smiled licking one of his claws.

 

"My name... Is Hyde"

"Did you forget that my arms are made of metal, I can't feel a thing, and I'm new here. Anyways, It's a pleasure to meet you, Hyde.

He walked over to his coat and said as he grabbed his sunglasses out and put them on,

"So Hyde, do you fight and when do you think would be a good time?"

"Think I don't see through your ruse? "He smirked warping his arms back to normal." why would I fight if I know I can't hit "He shrugged.

Hyde turned around moving 80% of his muscle and bone into his arms as began punching his way through the concrete wall.

 

"I know you can't hurt me either, porting isn't exactly an "offensive" ability, now if you excuse me I'll be escaping the Shark. "

Hyde crashed into the science jockeys, toppling them unto the floor as  he watched the predator warp away. 

 

"Interesting how he just up and leaves" He scoffed ,getting slowly to his feet as he wiped some blood off his lip, 

 

The science jockeys unconscious now, as he walked towards the now damaged wall.

 

" One...more ...Punch"  He smiled with a sinister grin as the muscles in his arms and legs squirmed their way towards his left arms.

 

He slammed the surface with his over powering fist, crushing it into pieces and revealing an exit. 

 

"Hyde, you really wanna do this?"

 

"Of course" Hyde reassured as he grabbed unto the collar around his neck, he knew what he was about to do was dangerous and severely painful but he had no choice, it was too far to turn back.

 

Hyde began warping his head and neck, elongating it, all the while causing extreme pain as his nervous tissue moved and twisted.

 

"You'll see those stars again Jake" He screamed in pain as he lifted the collar off his ,now cylindrical" head and quickly warping his head back as soon as it was off.

 

"I swear it!" He spoke as he stumbled a bit from the pain

"Why do you want to escape so badly. This place will help you get better at using your powers. Why don't you stop trying to escape and work at your power and become a predator?"

"What sort of lies have they been feeding you?" Hyde snarled back as he noticed the predator in front of him. 

"If you hadn't already noticed, this place is worse than a super prison!" He growled at Shadow with pent up rage as he remembered all the friends he had lost because of the cruelties of the S.H.A.R.C.

 

"I'd...I'd rather die than join you"

Shadow smiled and said as he grabbed Hyde's shoulder,

"They haven't been feeding me any lies, I know what this place is, but I don't care. You will join, one way or another."

Then he teleported, bringing Hyde along with him, to the others. He let go and said, 

"If you keep this up, then I will have to put you in the infirmary, probably in a container.
