Asking the right questions is the answer…

Someone on another forum shared this blog full of captioned images and positive posts meant to cheer people up. I thought you guys might enjoy browsing some of these, especially from this section.

It’s not the answers you get from others that will help you, but the questions you ask of yourself. Here are 40 thought-provoking questions to help you refresh and refocus your thinking:

For discussion, which ones are your favorites and why? What do you think of motivational and self-help images, phrases, etc? Do they do anything for anyone? Have there been any that particularly inspired you?

For me personally, I don't think the questions really help, more so the answers/phrases. I'm all for inspirational and motivational things, but I can see a downside with the questions.

For instance, if someone is really having a bad time and looks through the questions and find they don't have an answer for them, it can make them feel worse. That, or certain questions might trigger the reason why that person was upset in the first place.

For that reason, I say it is better to see inspirational phrases, rather than questions~

That being said, I feel it is really nice you posted this~!x

Well, it takes more to get me outta my depressive ruts. Like therapy. Or good music.

I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . .

Yes, I admire your inquisitive nature. Why get caught up with questions when you could be out there finding answers? Of course, by asking that I've done the opposite. So maybe it has some weight behind it. Still, I can appreciate the concept behind some of these, some are real neat.
