Simple concept with portions notwithstanding, Good angle of approach and good shading. It's kinda sad that such a good sketch was done on notebook paper. It does however, garner favor of my interest. Good job!

The shading is really good, almost as if it were a sort of pop-out image.

I didn't have a reference for this one. I remembered chrysalis' anatomy quite vividly from the episode so I thought with a simple angle, I wouldn't need one. I did a sketch in pencil then went over it and added details and background in pen.

 

Wow... amazing work Ezynell. Can't wait to see the finished drawing.

 

I'm actually probably too lazy to do finish this up, plus it's on lined paper so It doesn't look stellar in the first place, but I'm working on an electronic version of it for a speedpaint, tell me what you think of it so far, I've been working on it for a little over an hour.

I do one of these pretty much ever day in school. The last two have been Twilight Sparkle and Humanized Rainbow Dash, sad that I just ran out of printer paper, I'll see if I can find one and try to make another drawing tomorrow.

Thanks, I do shading better then anything else really. I find it the easiest part, and it comes in handy allot to make an average image pop out above others.

Not for this one, I find her pretty easy to draw, her style aside from the hair is quite simple and even her hair can be done in one piece.
