"Twilight was a little thrown off by all the legal talk in the middle of a battle. "You know what let's discusses the legal side of this afterward ok, Eevee dodge and use double team." Twilight said. Eevee then dodged the iron tail and used the move creating an entire team of after images making it look like he surrounded the Sentret. "Now Eevee we shall finish this use last resort." Eevee started to use the move and all the after images as well looked like they were charging the move at the same time. Then they charged forward.

"Sentret, use your tail and jump sky high!" RootedWisdom commanded. Sentret slams it's tail onto the ground and springs in the air, causing Eevee to become one again,and Rooted saw this opportunity and took it. "Sentret, Iron Tail! " RootedWisdom commanded. Sentret's tail glows a metallic silver and slams onto Eevee, fainting it. "Way to go, Sentret!" Rooted cheered.

RootedWisdom knew that he hurt Twilight's feelings, and knew he had failed. "Wait!" RootedWisdom said, but he knew that there was no way around it. "Oh, what's wrong?" said a cynical voice in the background. RootedWisdom recognized the voice, and immediately took stance. "Chrysalis, why are you here?" RootedWisdom asked with a defensive voice. "Oh really, says the boy who shouldn't have been here either." Chrysalis said with a sly tone. "You really should be with me and my army, where you won't have to worry about the rules, and I have the perfect opportunity for you, and you can feel free to battle anypony, with a price." RootedWisdom looked confused, she is one of his eternal enemies, and yet he has no one to go to. "If I join you, what is the drawback? " RootedWisdom asked. "You won't see your friends, for they will become your enemies. " Chrysalis exclaimed. "Fine." RootedWisdom replied. Chrysalis let out a evil laugh, and teleported her and RootedWisdom, but before she did, she wrote a letter. Twilight walked in a few hours later, feeling regretful of how she responded to RootedWisdom, and was wanting to give Rooted a second chance, but couldn't find him. She noticed the letter, and picked it up and read it.

 

"Twilight, if you wish to see the likes of RootedWisdom, send every pony with a Pokémon to get him, for he will not make it very far. Oh and, I hope you and your friends go and find him, for he is the last piece I need to finish the Pokeggedon Project, the one you foiled 3 years ago."

"Thank you!" Cyan Flare said to the pony who had volunteered to battle with her. "So... you a Ralts? Cool. I hope Yamask does well, though." She looked at her pokemon, who appeared to be content again now and ready for the battle. "Who's pokemon will make the first move?" she asked.

"Uhh? Coin flip? " Sparkle said eventually pulling for a stick of gum. "Okay gum flip I guess... " She got a pen and wrote 1 and 2 on the gum "your one and I'm two. Okay?( I'm actually flipping a bottle cap.)it's a one! Yamask moves first. " Sparkle said flipping the gum elegantly into the bin "now let's go!"

Crystalline took her stuff and thanked Twilight before going to the Pokemon center. She had wanted to watch the fights, but she decided to get her Fletchling healed. On the way, she decided to think of a name for the guy. Flame wing, Blitz Beak... Blitz Wing! She smiled as she headed into the center. She saw her new "rival" inside. She Dropped Blitz Wing off with the nurse, and walked over to him. "You know, I never got your name."

@,  "I thought I told you before the match it's D-Pad.  anyway Eevee just finished getting healed up so i'm off to train him before scouting the gym leader out find out what they specialize in and find a way to counter it.  Long story short I'll get the first badge soon so any info regarding the gym leader or their pokemon would be great if you find out anything i'll be near the everfree forest training my Eevee so see ya."  D-Pad then went home to tell his mother he was starting his journey as a trainer and that he won his first battle, while home he grabbed a few thing to make makeshift training weights to increase Eevee's speed and strength even with passive activities like walking.  once near the forest.  "OK Eevee this is where our training starts are you ready."

"Ok Eevee I think that good for now let's go eat something."  D-Pad said as he unhooked the makeshift training equipment.  on the way to go eat he passed by the gym and decided to go see what the inside was like it filled with all kinds of plants and even several woodland critters was roaming around "Ok is this a gym or did I get transported to 1,000 years after an apocalypse happened."

 

"Oh this is the local gym." said a voice from a distance a way.  D-Pad search for the origin of the voice and saw a yellow mare there taking care of a bunch of animal "Hi any reason for your visit today."

 

"oh not really just came by to see the gym leader and"  he got cutoff as the mare run as replied in a squeaky voice.

 

"no more battles ever please just take a badge and leave if you don't mind that is."  This shocked D-Pad she's just giving badges to avoid battles what's next give one to the pony who delivers your pizza.

"oh sorry for misunderstand, my name is Fluttershy and I am the leader of the Nature gym" she said proudly "even before all the pokemon appered in equestria i loved animals and now there more to care for."  as he looked around he saw a bear drinking tea with several pokemon.

"Looks like my first challenge isn't gonna be a battle but convincing a gym leader to battle and judging by her personality it looks like it won't be easy.  Anyway let's go eat at sugercube corner sounds good."

Cyan Flare watched as the stick of gum landed. It was Yamask who would move first. "Okay..." cyan Flare murmured. "What moves do you have?" She used to pokedex she had received earlier to check. He knew Astonish, Protect, and Disable ((I'm assuming they're level five when we receive them?)). "Okay! Yamask, use astonish."

"Yama!" Yamask cried as he attacked. This attack had a small chance of making the opposition flinch, but it didn't succeed in going do this turn. He drew back, preparing for retaliation.

"Ralts! Use Confusion!" Sparkle said realising that it was practically and only move her Ralts could use against Yamask "Ralts!" He shouted firing three purple rings at Yamask "sorry Yamask. " Sparkle shouted to the opposing Pokémon showing she was worried about hurting him.

Suddenly, the news flashed, and a news reporter came onto screen. "We bring you live from Canterlot, were it has seems that Changelings have been spotted near Apploosa, The Crystal Empire, and The Tree of Harmony. We also have speculated that the famous RootedWisdom,or NightGale, has been sighted along side with the Changelings. We hope to Celestia that our vigilante hero has not betrayed us, this is News Flash, and this is.... (rumble in the background ) what was tha....AAAAUGH! " and sure enough, a Changeling had attacked her.

As Yamask was hit by Ralts' attack, he shook his head to clear his mind of the confusion. "You okay, Yamask?" Cyan Flare asked her new pokemon. He nodded without a sound and got ready to deal another attack. "Okay, use astonish again!" Cyan Flare told him. Yamask repeated his previous move.

 

"Hey, what's this all about...?" Cyan Flare exclaimed as she heard the words of a news reporter, followed by screams and shouts if panic and terror. She craned her neck to peer at a nearby screen, then turned to Sparkle and Ralts. "Should we carry on the battle... or...?"

Crystalline wiped the sweat from her brow. She almost wished she could curl up in a pokeball and get healed and refreshed at the Pokemon Center. She carried Blitz in for the 3rd time since starting training, and set him down on the counter. "Hey, we're back again. Sorry for using you guys so much. Training can be a real pain."

 

"No worries ma'am. We're used to this. We enjoy taking care of the pokemon." She took Blitz. "We'll have him up and ready in a bit, ok?"

 

"Thanks." Crystalline looked up at the clock and almost freaked. 'Where's the time gone? Oh no, i was supposed to meet up with D-pad. I hope he won't be mad that I'm late. Surely he'll understand.' She picked up Blitz and thanked the mare again for helping her. Then she bolted out the center and ran around town looking for D-pad. She's almost given up hope when she saw him through the windows of Sugarcube Corner. She composed herself, walked in, ordered some food, and sat down next to him and Eevee.

 

"So sorry I'm late meeting up. Got a bit caught up with training. You learn anything good?"

"Well I actually talked to the gym leader and have to find a way to convise her to battle with me. You see she doesn't want to battle cause she's scared her Pokemon will get hurt because of it. She even to me to just take the bagde and go if all I wanted was a battle but these battles are supposed to prepare us for the league *sigh* will you try talking to her I can't think of a way out of this to be honest I just want the bagde to be earned not given to me. Also the gym leader's name is Fluttershy." D-Pad said to his rival.

While the girls were walking to the Pokémon Center, two Changelings were planning an attack on them. And sure enough, just up on a roof top, stood RootedWisdom, smiling slyly as the two mares were about to walk into a trap. "Make the move. "RootedWisdom commanded. The two Changelings sprung at them, catching the two mares off guard, and pinned them to the wall. "You thought that we weren't just going to attack just Canterlot and the other places too, now didn't ya? No I also wanted a different approach. So here's the deal, you give Twilight Chrysalis's plan and how I contribute to it, (Pulls out a few scrolls, and puts it in there hooves) and you'll walk out here alive. But cross my ideals, and i will punish you." RootedWisdom spoke in a insane tone in his voice.
