That's a bit of an issue with me, I don't really have an idea so I usually come up with something with my partner except this time there like four or five of you.

Make it simple, you're with a batch of new recruits. You arrive at night or something since you're with the Lunar guard for some training and touring. My OC is not a batpony but as we know Canterlot does have Night Guards or so... so my OC can easily greet you into this if you please as a Captain on the night shifts.
