"I'm not going to eat all of this it's yours not mine so..." Summer manged to cut it in half and stared to eat it. "this is divine I mean not as good as blood but damn for food this is unreal and very good." She sat there eating her half slowly savoring each bite and chewing it up with a smile on her muzzle.

Façade quickly ate up the food, and smiled. It was good. Façade started eating his half of the tiramisu. "That's why I eat it, it's good." Façade remarked. He glanced over at Emerald and Crescent who where looking at the moon. He then glanced at the moon. "Damn the crown. It's a beautiful night."

(you know I wasn't thinking Luna being in, but lets try this out)

 

-at the sinking ships miles away

Luna stood on the cloud over looking the whole mess of the sinking ship helping the ponys find a raft and bringing another ship to them. As the ponys waited, clinging onto each other those unlucky to be without wings "Your majesty we have all if not most of the survivors" said one of the guard ponys  

 

"so what exactly happened here do we know for sure if it was a terror strike?" the Alicorn asked

 

"terrorist no, hunters possible your majesty" a blue earth pony with a green scarf said standing next to her. The guard nearly drew his sword on the pont, luna held off a hoof

 

"its ok, he's with me" she said

 

The blue earth pony smiled "sky hoofs bro, don't worry about whew I got them I'll place an order for you anyways your highness I cant tell if they are dead or not but I can tell you the hunters after cres and em failed" said the blue pony

 

"What's the chances coolwhip, give it too me straight" said the princess

 

"40% chance" said coolwhip

 

-back at the skiff Cresent blinked at the luna question "we don't know anything about this whole thing I'm not sure this bit she could help with till we get to manity really" He looked over at Façade and summer seeing the two mingling he couldn't help but smile then remembered before hoof.

 

"I hope we didn't do too much   of a mess down there" cresent said apologetically

"I know is it not I mean it is just wonderful tonight I just have not seen a moon like that in years." Summer laid back down and looked to the moon again.

"We ca clean up some more or at least try, we don't tend to make such mess usually." Emerald shoved Crescent's shoulder and smiled at him.

Façade heard the comment from Emerald about cleaning up. "Don't worry about it, there's nothing on this ship that's going to clean it better. I'll take care of it when I get back." Façade smiled, somehow, being in the midst of these vampires was putting him in a good mood. Façade glanced up to the moon, and then replied to Summer, "It's rare that things are beautiful these days. Everything is more focused on faster, more money. It's stupid."

Cresent chuckled at the shoving playfully nudging her shoulder back "there you go starting things again" he joked. Hearing facde's comment about beauty he kissed his lover looking up at the sky again. 

 

"façade, you want to see something beautiful after this right" he looked over to the pony at the wheel, he let go of emerald winking at her 'i'll talk to him now' he whispered and approached him looking out at the sky then him.

 

"There's a water fall in the evverfree forest, it will help answer your questions about us." he looked back out at the night sky

 

"In fact going there once we touch down in manity going back to ponyvill will be best for you." he said.

Façade eyed Crescent, and then smiled at the comment at he should head back to Ponyville. He looked at the distance, and then back at Crescent. He headed down below to his cabin, and started packing a satchel. Just enough to get to the main land. Façade opened the chest at the foot of his bed, and pulled out several capsules.

 

He pulled off his shirt and jacket, and then took the capsul, parted his fur on his back just above his left wing to reveal a metal hole, and inserted the capsule. Pain seared his system for a moment, spiking his heartbeat for a second. He repeated process on his other side, then he felt his heart skip a beat, and then some of the feathers on Façade's wings turned to a glowing yellow orange. He felt his heartbeat settle into a faster, slightly irregular pace, and his eyes changed to a yellow orange. Façade pulled his his and jacket on. Then he pulled up his hood.

 

He returned to the deck looked at Summer, and then at Crescent. "To land the ship, lower the throttle, and flip the red switch. It will land vertically." Then Façade took off. Summer would find his note detailing his location in Manity, he put it in what was left of the tiramisu, which was labeled, 'I'm full'.

 

Façade would have to get far away from the ship so Crescent wouldn't be able to track him. And he fully intended to go to Manity.

(not what I was expecting but all good) Cresent raised an eyebrow seeing façade fly off, he didn't mean right now but it works he looked at the wheel and noticed a little light that had the word "auto fly" on it along with some numbers dialed into it. Looking closer he realized it was the coordinates to Italy "clever" he said taking the wheel.

 

-The next day

Summer was confused why he left and was saddened by it, and mopped around the rest of that night.

Emerald went over to comfort Summer or at least try anyway. "There will be a reason for it Summer, not to worry you'll see him again."

"I don't even know why I miss him..."

"I have a nagging feeling what it is, but you must discover it on you own."

 

- The next day

 

Summer woke after a few hours of sleep and was hungry so decided to eat the rest of the tiramisu which she then found the not, she read it but kept it to herself, she did not want Crescent to send him away again. She then ate the rest of the tiramisu it tasted better when Facade was there.

~Next Day~

 

Façade had flown the rest of the night at top speed to Manity, and now for that time shaved off, Façade was paying. Migraines wracked his head and pain flooded his body as he crashed onto a seaside street. It was early morning, and the capsules Façade had put above his wings he ejected onto the street. He then laid there panting. "That's.... why.... I never use... those." He muttered to himself. He coughed up some blood, and sighed. After fifteen minutes to rest, Façade stood up, scooped up the capsules, dropped them into is satchel, and then headed down a back alley. he swiped a map from a nearby concession stand. Then laying beside a dumpster. Façade fell asleep while the migraines and pain that had wracked his system were fading.

Cresent check over the main consul steering the skiff, He looked below using a telescope on the side of the wheel "yep, just trying to find a spot to park this thing safely first time iv flown one of these" he looked again at the control board. Soon he remembered what Façade said about landing, he shrugged seeing a open spot that looked open and secure.

 

"by the way get to the front and get summer, shell love this" he said smiling

 

Manity was a city bigger then emerald had seen or been in with simple buildings next to fancy and complex building with the streets, or more rivers seemed to run a good portion of the streets, seeing ponys on canoes and the like was something new to them. And then the two mares saw the castles. The castles were bigger then any other building they could see noticing there was only 3 castel they could see almost like they were connected 

 

"the 4 castles of the family's, my family's is the 4th, see if you can spot it as I park this thing" cresent said looking around for a good spot for a skiff.

 

It was then a airship was herd flying behind them rather loudly. On the skiffs radio system a pony was herd "attention skiff you are entering manity air space state your business as you are entering a no fly zone" cresent raised an eye brow

 

"no fly zone, likely from the boat attack" looking at the head set he put it on "This is cresent of the royal bat family of manitalia" he said

 

back at the airship behind them the ponys and a gryphon or three was manning the controls, the captain herd the responds and asked for a magnification. The screen they had blew up the image in front of the ship of cresent another picture popped up comparing the two down to the tee. the reaction was cheers and crys of joy on the ship

Summer and Emerald was sitting at the bow (think that is correct) they were mesmerized by the view of the city (taking it that it's based on Venis?) they sat together taking in the sights of the city and the four amazing castles their collective breaths had been taken away at the sights, and totally ignored everything that was going on around them, in a state of aw.

(yes and the populence makes up for a lot of batponys as well) As the ships were making there way through the Metropolise of manity one pony in particular looked on from one of the many towers. Once the airship confirmed it was cresent who was alive and thought missing made quiet a reaction at the family castle and some of the business's in the city. And the one pony who had been wearing the fake smile

 

He was alone in the room with his two bodys guards "that son of a goat, so he did make it...this could change things"

 

A knock was herd at the door behind the clocked pony "enter" he said not turning to see who it was.

 

A rather serious looking mare walked in the room, the mares wings were robotic,every thing else was fine with the mare on appearances with a very dark blue coat and a mane blue with white streaks in it

 

"you summoned me?"

 

The clocked pony didn't even turn, "that assassin truly did fail, you got the text. make him disappear, yesterday, last week, I don't care if you have to start with his mother just make that wretched waist of filth gone off the planet!" said the pony

 

"understood master" the mare said bowing

 

the clocked pony breathed out "and now time to say reunite" said the pony grabbing the phone up making another call.....

Façade heard a familiar sound of thrusters, and he looked down the alley to see his ship. He scramble up and then headed down the alleyway. He maneuvered through the scenic city, for once not caring about the scenery. He headed to a tavern, and found a bounty wall. He then looked, and sure enough, his name and Summer's has joined the list with Emerald's and Crescent's. "Damn." Façade muttered. He tore the papers off. And headed out the door. On his way out, he picked up a light trench coat and grabbed a cap. No pony would notice it until it was too late. Façade set off to the Tails Inn. No honorable combat for these Hunters anymore.

Finaly cresent placed the skiff at the castel grounds.  The castel he parked at was one of the biggest castel the mares have seen, it took him a bit to get them out of the droped mouth gaze as the mares saw how big the castels wings truly were cureld up along the side of the castel. He waved at the skyponys and trotted up to the door with emerald and summer behind them. A rather intimidating gryphon blocked the door with red and gold armor on.

 

"ladys, welcome to my ancestors home" he trotted up to the guard, the guard whos face was a solid wall of sterness cracked "Master cresent, no it cant be" the gryphon made a defeseve stance with its halberd pointing it at cresent warningly

 

"its really me, something tells me everypony thought I was dead" cresent said rather calmly

 

"Oh i'll find out if your a fake or not, where did you find that gauntlet of yours" said the gryphon

 

Cresent held out the gauntlet "found it in the badlands helping a buddy find his sword, you should know what color blade it makes when im sparing" cresent said

 

The guard inspected the gauntlet "well i'll be welcome back home master, i'll escort you towards the dinner going on" Cresent smiled bowing back at the guard

 

"great we could use food and rest, all clear ladys" he said

 

As cresent passed the guard blocked the two mare between cresent "and just who in the feather do you think you are?" asked the gryphon looking sternly at the mares

 

"they are with me let them pass" cresent said

 

The guard huffed looking at the two "yes sire, _{I still am keeping an eye on you two} " he finished and then let the mares through. he pulled out a radio clipped to his armor "boss your not going to belive this" said the gryphon

Summer was rather intimidated and scared by the gryphon, Emerald held her tight and kept her wing over her. "see Summer this is why I did not want you to come, I knew this would not be an easy trip, but we are here so don't worry."

"I'll try Emerald." The two of them followed him Emerald was stoic to a degree, Summer was not she was in a word frightened

As the three went onwards into the castel a door and more guards blocked them After cresent just said something in manity to them they stepped aside he also said something hasher in manity as emerald and summer followed him into an grand hall with a giant table

 

When they showed up it must have been on the tale end of a speech from a bat pony with a purple mane and with a blue beard. "we are running out of time, the blood trails must begin now!" he slimed his hoof on the table

 

"Uncel dark heart I think we can now something about a pony blowing up your cruise ship might make you late" cresent said

 

The batponys at the table had two reactions, the first was silence as you could almost hear a pin drop, the 2nd was mumers of "that's him, that's cresent"

 

"no it cant be they said he died"

 

some young bat ponys noticed him, one called out "cousin cresent!" and talked his leg which surprised him. followed by another batpony this one about the same height as cresent with a blond mane

 

"Cres you sly bird you why did you have to take that boat" said the blond bat pony cresent shrugged him off playfully "it was the best deal and little pounce buddy man your growing" cresent said shaking his leg trying to use it again

 

The blond pony laughed and looked at emerald and summer "and you brought me a present, well hello mare but you do know your surrounded by a bunch of vamps" he said showing his teeth proudly to the mares

 

Cresent glared at the blond batpony and shoved him "mare friend actually and the yellow one is her cousin. Lady's my cousin Wane and pounce" he said still working his leg

 

the small batpony named pounce looked up at summer "gosh your pretty miss yellow" he said the small batpony had dark gran mane and seemed very young as one vamp tooth was still out. let go of crescents leg giggeling then looked at emerald "are you cusin cres's special bat pony or a new cusion?" the young colt asked innocently

Emerald looked at the young pony, "Yes you got it the first time around, Cres is my Special Somepony and Summer here is my cousin." She looked rather grimly at Wane, "You wont find any meals here." she bared her own fangs, then nudged Summer who followed suit but no where near to any levels of aggression.

Wane raised an eyebrow looking at the giant dinner table then back at the mares, the eyebrow was raised higher when she showed her fangs to him along with summer.

 

"relax I don't eat ponys at partys then the fun would go away"

 

"wane let them breath will you?" another batpony showed up with an older batpony next to her the speaker had an eye patch on her but with a purple mane and tale "sorry about him my brothers an idoit. cres glad to see you made it out" she hugged cres quickly the older batpony hugged cresentg as well

 

"dark light, grandma glad to see you guys. this is emerald and summer" he said introducing the mares

 

"we have your room ready upstairs need a hoof all tho im not sure if we have room for a third" the mare with the eye patch cocked her head at summer

 

"Its ok she's staying at a hotel with a buddy of mine and yes we could, you doing good grandma?" he asked the oldbatpony. She simply smiled and hugged emerald and summer. Her frail wing patted cresents mane and trotted back to the table

 

"so she hasn't gotten her voice back, dane" said cresent

 

"we need to catch up" said Dark light who then looked at emerald "so how did you run into my cus here, or did he run into your window?" she asked emerld

 

The tails inn

 

The robo winged mare walked into the inn seeing faced reading the news paper she went to the bar section and ordered a drink and another for façade.

Emerald retracted her fangs, and lowed her stance a little, "I met him he jumped me in the Everfree forest after I was turned, he taught me some of what he knows and we fell in love so yeah."

Summer punched herself, then looked to Emerald. "They won't go back in!"

"You have to think of something that makes you happy that's not blood, that should do the trick." She looked to the rest of them. "Summer's um new to our way of life she had a fatal run in with a bounty hunter and well Cres had to turn her." She hugged her cousin.

the three ponys were led by dark light up some stairs while they talked  "wait cres turning, Dane must have been a tuff hunter" darklight said cresent stopped at that word "and jumping on her, really cres, c'mon I thought I taught you better" she said mokingly

 

"well she was following me and you know how that song an dance goes for me" said cresent

 

"oh speaking of song and dance you probably should tell elder about you two before you sleep today" dark heart said still leading them up the stairs

 

"how long dose he have do we know?" asked cresent

 

"he'll go when he go's that's what's really putting the trial on hold, and here we are" she said finaly opening a door to cresnts room. The room had a giant bed, tub, couch, and well every regular sized furniture

 

"um light you sure this is mine?" asked cressent

 

"should have seen Wane's lucky pony got a blood fall in his pluse summer had a bed now too" she turned back towards cresent and the mares "right relax, wash up, and get ready for a long night cres. and lady's let me know if you need anything us mares tend to have a mares day out in town while the boys be boys" she winked with her good eye at them and left them

The three of them walked into the room, Summer ran over and jumped on the bed, then started bouncing on it. Emerald looked at her, "that looks like a bit of fun." She ran over and joined in the both of them jumping but and down like a pair of fillies laughing and looking to cres. "come on love let's have some fun."

"i do need to unwind a bit" cresent said jumping on the bed with the mares laughing like a bunch of colts and phillys cresent soon tired out jumping of the bed landing lazily on the couch, or rather bounced off and then landed on the couch next to the bed in a upside down way.

 

"who put this couch here" he laughed at the bad joke but that was his tired side talking. a knock was herd much later after the three of them explored the roomed played a few card games the found after finding a deck of cards and a shower for cresent. Cresent opened the door seeing a butler pony "master cresent, you have been summoned by the elder" cresent eyes went wide  

 

"um...thanks ill be down soon to him" he said

 

the butler pony bowed "do make haste no pony wants an annoyed elder after him"

 

Cresent nodded closing the door, he looked in the mirror for a bit "ok lady's give it too me straight do I look good or decent?" he asked hopping none of them brought a marker with them.

at the same time, "no/yes." they both looked at each. "what's wrong with him?"

"He dose not look good enough to see ruling family, Summer I would not let him in the Castle in Canterlot like this." Emerald walked over to him and played around with his mane and tail, licking certain parts pulling at others then stepped back. "that is better."

"Yep, that is better."

"Go on my dear we will be here when you get back, or if you need us I suppose if your family likes us half breads."

"thanks love" cresent said kissing emerald and making his way down stairs, finding the Elder wasn't too hard when you have the castle built around the elders room. seeing the 4 guards in front of the door he also saw 3 of his cousins one of them wane spotting him "never nice to keep us waiting cres"

 

"last time I was here was when I was a colt relax" said cressent

 

"so what's this I hear about new blood coming in" said one of his cusins

 

Cresent blinked "extended or married in?" he said to the batpony

 

"extanded names Shade" said the bat pony

a pony came from the room "ah good now we can get this out of the way echo your up first" said the docter pony addressing the 4th silent pony who looked more scared then fluttershy when cresent met her. He gulped and went it, the door closed behind him "probably the tuna I told aunt walker to soak it more but you know mares and telling them about cooking" wane said

 

"or he dosent want the crown" cresent said

 

both Shade and wane gave him a look like he just dissed their night mother, cresent recovered quickly "think about somepony tried to blow me up on my way here" 

 

"probably a hunter" said Shade

 

"or an badly placed experiment" said Wane trying to keep it upbeat

 

"how in the hey are we realted?" asked cresent thinking outloud
