Façade didn't put down his paper, there was an interesting piece on the explosion the Hunters had caused.

 

Façade knew the mare had sat beside him, and bought him drinks. He was scared, but better he got this over with. For Dusk's sake, this was the mare with mechanical wings! "I know who you are. Sent to clean me up. And the funny thing is, I've discovered something, the only difference between you and me, I am not a pony. You are. You were born, I was designed." He contemplated killing her right then. It would save him the trouble, but he needed to interrogate her. If she came with him. Which he doubted. He took a sip of the drink and then quickly swiped the glass into the mare's face.

The Tails Inn

The mare was rather shocked by the suddenness of it all, then shook her head "well im afraid your wrong" she looked at the barpony and nodded, he nodded back pulling down facdes news paper punching him off the stool. One of the mechanical wings stabed into Facades arms pinning him on the ground. She leaned in close façade seeing a small laser shoot from the eye moving around on his chest then stooped at where his heart was. The laser went away she looked at Façade

 

"its just business, you would understand after all" she said  

 

-Back at the castel

 Cresent was getting nervous himself as the silent cusin walked out, a nures pony sticking her head out "all right cres your next" He gulped telling himself to relax and entered. What cresent walked into was seeing a familiar batpony bed riddled. He bowed when he got closer

 

"rise my child, we are the same in here without the damn royalty" said the old batpony

 

Cresent rose not sure what to say "sorry elder, old habit" he said sitting in a near by chair

 

"Its fine child, plies sit down last time I saw you was after that dreadful day with willow, and night mother has told me about emerald a fine lass for you" he said

 

"thanks, I'm not surprised night mother would she did kind of snoop on us" cresent said blushing

 

"that whole mess with Jadas and poor shoe, I'm surprised at you for letting her go like that, yet this turned one. I herd her along too who is she?" the elder asked

 

"Summer, emeralds cousin and I wasn't planning on turning her, just the whole mess on the boat happened and well it was that or her dying" cresent said  

 

The elder smiled looking up at the ceiling "a hard call, but one we will see in the future which is the real reason you are here. This mare, how much do you love her?" the elder said with a stern look that would cripple dragons....

"ok." They both got up and left the room and wandered the castle looking at the paintings on the wall and other features like suits of armor they were actually having some fun, as they roamed the halls

Some of the guards saw the ponys wonder around but payed no heed, they wernt told to do anything to them from what cresent passed down the line of guards and there standing orders being by will of the elder who seemed not to mind them they didn't ethier.

 

Darklight was in the garden relaxing by the water fall spotting the two mare she waved at them "heya ladys what you think of the place?" she asked

They walked over to her, "it's not like Canterlot that is for sure, too um evil for my taste, but impressive nonetheless."

"yep what she said, that not hurtful is it?"

"No Summer was a being honest about what she asked us, it's for her to take offence." She looked to Darklight. "Your guards are rather varied, none ponies too that impresses me."

Dark light grinned at the yellow mare "being full vamps it takes a lot to get our blood to boil so don't worry hun, as for our guards all of them specifically batponys. And yes all of them vamps save a few trusted ones but that's another story" she said leaning back looking at the tree she was resting on

 

"I'm so glad we have this garden, its the best part of this place you ask me, relaxing and quiet." she said her wings playing with a leaf "you said you've been to canterlot, guard or vacation?" she asked

"Summer has not gotten around to see Canterlot."

"Sorry Summer." she looked at Darklight "Yes I was with the guard in Canterlot, I'm not anymore I'm in Ponyville near where Cres lives and I guard Princess Twilight the Element of Magic and Princess of friendship I am her guard, lieutenant my sister is my second in command, Summer you tell her what you do."

Summer looked at Emerald, with a look of really? "You just gave her your full tittle, I'm just a weather pony, I move clouds around yay me."

"I know just it's not got the same umph to it as yours."

"It's ok Summer I doubt either of us are judging you if Darklight is you can kill her if you want." She looked back to Darklight. "She's got some real power at the moment she nearly drained me when we turned her."

"oh I know a fresh turn when I hear one, cresent turning a pony tho that dose take some balls tho if he dose it and speaking of power" she looked at emerald then got up, she keept her judgement of the mare hidden hearing how the blood was flowing a mentel check to ask cresent about.

"there is a lickly hood of him being king, along with my brother the idiot you met before hoof. hows he taking it all? I havnt seen him sense he went to live in the woods" dark light said

Summer looked at her then went to speak to Darklight, but her mouth was covered by Emerald's hoof she looked at her then stepped back a pace. "what's that for?"

"You are no going to say anything about him either." she looked back to Darklight. "I don't trust anyone here enough for us to answer that question, you will find out from him or us once that trust is earned, I normally am quite open but not here and not now." Summer nodded she was right who knew who was trying to kill them.

"good, glad to see a mare looking after him" she smiled walking back to the tree looking up at it

 

"emerald how ever this turns out at the end I only wish we could become friends being raised here in manity its good to see another nonpure vamp, just be carful around the uncels they are kind of hardcore on this damn purity idea" she said leaning back on the ground

That statement caught her off guard. "your not a pure, one either I though all his relatives were pure, well he said nothing to the contrarily what's your birth species then, it don't take a genius to work out we are both Pegasi."

Darklight was silent for a bit before answering "I was adopted by dark heart after hunters came and destroyed my villige. I was found in the wreckage of a hut, I don't remember what my real parents called me but the light in my name comes from the light dark heart saw on me from the moon they say, was turned soon after and grew up in this place" she said  

 

She bit the appael she was playing with still looking up "and this isn't an 'infection' you read too many bad books" she said after her bit then turned towards summer

 

"but i'll let it go again your still havnt had your blood night for some reason must be that pure side of things" she said "which remindes me what else don't you know about being turned?" Dark light asked

"We are both in the dark about it, I wasn't turned by a real vampire, still made me one though and Cres has not been forth coming on information whenever either of us asked, I think he's in the dark as we are, we know little to nothing about our new selves Summer has an excuse I've been a vampire for months now and well I know about as much as the first week, that was hell that was, Summer here is lucky Cres said he sucked the monster out of her and she had blood about two hours after it, the turning I mean."

"as to being turend by who ever that was cresent will always be stronger then you, being turned by one of us well that makes you summer near his level of strength and I think I herd you wrong" said dark light taking a bite out of her appel again

"whats un herd of?" said a deep voice behind the mares making them all jump Emerald and summer turned to see the one pony named Dark Heart.

 

"uncle" dark light bowed imedetly

 

"its ok light, just wanted to say hi to cresent new friends" he said "and I think I might have interrupted something" he said with an aplogteic smile

 

"what is un herd of did you say light?" he asked

 

"oh uncle just, well how this reunion has been going emerald was just going on about the boat attack" dark light got up making a slight wink towards emerald "i mean think about it with how tight security is and they still were able to get those bombs on board crazy eh" she said

 

"yes it is odd times we live in, I must apologize for my manors my name is dark heart cresents uncle. is he still with the elder?" he asked

Façade replied rather nonchalantly, "Yes, it's a good job to have, especially when I get to do this." Façade took the bottom of a glass, smash the top against the bar, and the shoved it into the mare's chest. Then he lifted booth of his hind legs, and bucked the mare off him. Her blade wing was pulled out, and Façade grunted in pain.

 

Façade would be dying soon. But he had his precious canisters. He put one in his upper arm, and felt the restorative bone marrow activate within him. It hurt like hell, But his arm started to heal. Façade stood across the bar from the mare. "I was designed to follow orders. Damn that, but you... you... were manipulated into a slave."

The blue mares metal wing slapped Faced with the force to send him flying across the bar into a table, she moved up here eyes hadn't changed but her body did as Façade saw instead of blood ,oil slowly dripped on the floor. Her chest sparked a bit she held out her hoof turning into a gun barrel pointing at Facde  

 

A glass bottle was thrown at the mares barrel hoof knocking the arm down A gryphon with a dark beak holding a heavy staff had a very annoyed look on his face "that was a good drink you just wasted mam I hope you know that.

 

-At the castle

 "Ah a pretty name for cresents bow indeed and summer hope the weather isn't dampening your sunny coat there" the pony bowed then got back up and sighed

 

"as much as I love our elder he dose tend to talk a bit, must be a king thing. Anyways if you see cresent tell him I have a drink waiting for him welcome to the castle lady's and hope you will join us for dinner" he turned and began walking away "relax we don't eat gusts at the castle here would be rude" he said laughing down the hall.

 

Once he was gone dark light breathed out "too close" she said

"I don"t the manner in which your family, well it will be our family one day if things keep up, anyway eat guests? I mean do you all feed and kill innocents I mean that is barbaric."

"If Em is right I agree with her how can you all have such a disregard for life?"

"I hope it's all in jest to scare us."

Darklight face huffed then shook her head looking at the two mares

 

"we don't eat guests, we only feed on dead criminals as the main reason why the Manito gov allows us to live. Me personally think it could be done better but rarely is one criminal sentenced to death by us vamps and uncle has a twisted sense of humor" she said.

 

She beckoned the mares closer whispering to them"_{if cresent can suck the blood rage out of vamps he might be the family's strongest vamp. Maybe stronger then our elder} "

 

She leaned back talking normally "don't let the others know, my brother is priming for the crown really hard. That's what scares me with this whole thing" she said leaning back

"He doesn't want the crown, we neither want to or can live here out lives are back in Equestria not to mention i'd make a poor excuse for Queen."

"it's nice for you to say Summer but I don't agree, I don't have those qualities I'm a farm pony for Luna's sake, and a not even a real vampire I mean you know what happened with Fluttershy."

Façade recognized the griffon, maybe? "When this is over stranger, I'm buying drinks."

 

Façade had an idea, but it would have to come after the fight. He looked at the mare, "Always thought some thing was off about you. Well at least I know I have more personality than you." Façade grabbed at wooden chair, threw it at the mare, which Façade knew she would easily deflect. Façade followed up the wooden chair with a knife throw, and then he cut a tube running along the mare's left mechanical wing.

The mare growled using her front hoof to punch Façade for a 2nd time while the tube seemed to spray left and right oil covering her self and part of Façade.

 

Dark beak rushed the mare knocking her over the bar, the bar pony pulled out a shotgun from under the bar to which was slamed in the side of the head with Dark beaks Staff

 

"hope you have deep pockets im kind of a hevy drinker" said dark beak looking over at Facaed

 

The mare got back up moving her ing into the griphons arm cutting it deep, dark beak cryed in pain grabed the wing and with his tallons began to crush the wing. and lifted the mare up with his strength and threw her into one of the pillers . He went down bracing himself on one of the stools

 

-the castel

 

A loud bell was herd in the castel making the mares jump, dark light looked up seeing the tower of the bell "well then time for the feast, come on we don't want to be late to it might be the last time we see the elder" she said as she made her way out of the garden leading emerald and summer

 

"I hope he hasn't decided who it would be yet, if cres gets the crown...something tells me you will find out before I do" darklight said

Façade flew across the room again. He had seen the shotgun, leapt over the counter, and grabbed the shotgun from the owner. He turn the mare, twirl the shotgun before putting a round into her other wing, making it spray wildly. But not enough to hide from Façade. He fired again and again into her chest, before grabbing the barrel and slugging the mare across the face with the metal stock of the shotgun.

The mare was down but still moving its laser eye fixated on the shot gun a beam of heat shot from the eye onto the shotgun burning Façade's hoofs holding it she then shot another beam of energy at the bottels of alchole behind him on the bar rack starting one hell of a fire above him. She slowly staggered up but was then pounced on by dark beak who then shoved the mare up against the wall that was intact. It cracked when she hit it having the mare respond with a cough

 

"Who sent you toster?" he bellowed

 

The mare glared at him, opened her mouth spewing smoke at the gryphon's face having him drop her as he tried to get out of it. When the smoke cleared she was no longer there...

 

The gryphon trotted over looking at façade laying next to the knocked out bar pony, helping him up he said "I think the drink will wait friend. call me dark beak" he said
