"It's a gift. And if not literal use, then metaphorically." Façade pushed the telescope. "Besides, I'm toting around enough bits to buys several more." Façade smiled, "besides, even with enhanced vision, everything has a bane which hinders its abilities, and therefore it might prove useful. Who knows?"

She took the telescope back and tucked it in her tail, "I guess thanks again I suppose." Summer stood up and shock her head, she then sat back down again then lay back on the deck looking at the stars. "I wonder If I'll outlive some of the stars in the sky, just like the royal sisters."

"You probably will." Façade said, looking at the stars. "But then again, I'm just some idiot who doesn't know much and probably won't ever." Façade yawned, and then shrugged off the little bit of tiredness that had come to him. Façade then checked the ship's instruments and then returned to the railing. He leaned backwards against the railing, crossing his hooves in a relaxed manner.

"Well I'm glad Crescent fixed me for now and I did not just suck you dry when I came up here, that would of been unpleasant, why did I say that out loud?" Summer shook her head and looked to the stars again, "you ever thought about becoming a vampire, just a question I suppose?"

"I'm happy I'm not fur and bones." Façade said with a small grain of doubt. Then he shook the thought away. Façade thought about the few times he had actually seriously considered becoming a vampire. "The thought has crossed my mind several times. Actually even a coupla' times before this whole fiasco, too. Why do you ask?" Façade felt like he was having one of those stupid moments when he didn't connect the dots and see the whole picture.

"I don't know, just curios if I was not the only one I knew of who was interested of being turned I guess I was just checking I'm not weird or somthing I did not really mean anything by it, if you ever want to be turned I could do it in the future I suppose." Summer said the last part rather causally just trying to convey the words but not adding anything to them.

Cresent smiled feeling the pool of blood that formed around him and Emeralds looking around he laughed "that's....the best....we've done..." he pulled emerald close kissing her "we probably should at least clean up a bit he is giving us a ride to manity after all" cresent laughed a bit inbetween gasps

'Right' Façade replied mentally. He contemplated how to respond properly, "I'm sure that I'm not the only one either. Not everyday you become immortal. Albeit, blood drinking, but still immortal." Façade took a deep breath, and then fell over the side of the ship. Façade hoped he'd be able to use the cabin again, but something told him that he'd better off sleeping on the deck than in there.

Emerald laughed with what breath she had, then licked the blood on Crescents face, then his neck then his hooves, then stood him up and licked his back. "ok let's clean the floor and me."

Summer stood up and jumped of the edge after him flying to catch up with him, she was enjoying talking to him.

Façade stopped the dive by spreading his wings out and then he shot forwards. It hurt his wings slightly, but Façade had always preferred precision to speed. He flipped upside down and saw Summer following him. As he was upside down Façade went through a cloud. Coming out the other side he coughed and spat out a little cloud, before flipping over, slowing down his speed, and he smiled. Flying was one of the best things in the world, and while Façade was no racer, he could fly well in small spaces. He took a little pride in that fact. Façade shouted to Summer, "I'm not the fastest, but my precision makes up for it!"

She caught up to him to hear what he said, well she would of heard that from the ship but did not know that yet, "I cant really fly all that fast myself either, but that is fine we aren't all Rainbow Dash." She caught up and matched his speed flying next to him, it was a lovely night.

As much as he wanted more cresent knew his body hit a stone wall after there feasting of each other,  After the floor was clean, or what a clean version can be mde with little stuff to clean it with (a towel or 3) cresent truned towards his lover beginning the next phase of there ritual of cleaning each other. In between licks he brought up

 

"you know, I think summer and Façade met before this whole thing started. I trust him just, something tells me he might stick around in manity once we get their" he said as he was trying to clean his lovers wings and carefully not stimulate her more. A challenge he sometimes lost on accident.

Emerald sat and enjoyed her own turn being cleaned she was almost purring like a cat as he did it. "I don't trust him yet, but I have a feeling he and Summer have a connection I don't know if it is a friendship or more but there is somthing going that is for sure."

"again he's got us this far, I told him to head out of manity once we touch down their" cresent continued in between licks then continued after working a tricky spot in the wings  

 

"once we get their I have a hunch we'll face two major questions. The boat attack and you two, having multiple bounty hunter that came after me tells me one thing about who set the bounty" he paused inspecting the wing a bit before moving to the next one satisfied with his work he began the other still trying to work out how they both got so much blood on each other. If any other pony would walk in it would look like these two had been dragged through hell and back.

 

"I'm dealing with more then one, two if im right. the original killer of willow and the one who sent Façade after me" he said and started on the 2nd wing

"watch the wings dear, you know what happens you clean them wrong, anyway who cares about the blood so we wasted some we got plenty more." She shuddered as he groomed her, "ANyway if your royalty you gave guards that may help get there to stop attacks in daylight or nighttime I suppose."

"that's IF I am royalty we still don't know what will happen" cresent found a thick bit of dried blood in between to feathers, seeing summer shudder cresent rubbed her back trying to keep her warm. Then continued on the spot

 

"you know me, I never miss a spot on my emerald its how she gets so shiny" he said smilling in between licks. "this spot may take a bit love just a heads up" he licked the spot more in silence concentrating and hopping he would lick it out without her getting hungry. They needed strength for tomorrow which reminded him of something.

 

"....have you thought about....living together more?" he asked pausing his mission wanting to see her eyes for this question.

"we do live together, I mean I like my arrangement I can't move to the Everfree I have to be in Ponyville in case Twilight needs me." Emeralds fangs came out again has her kept licking her wing. "Love more gentle you're getting me worked up again." She stuck her teeth into her own hoof which calmed her down a little.

Façade banked left back to the ship, he didn't want to lose the skiff. "We don't want to lose the skiff! We should head back!" Façade was glad he had stretched his wings. He flew under the ship, flipped, and landed on the ship. He then felt a familiar presence. He glanced around and saw nopony around.

 

"You killed me. I don't like that. If they knew what you were like... oh would they fear you." Shade had returned.

 

"You don't ever leave me alone do you?" Façade replied

 

"You've proved yourself. I lost it, and now I'm enslaved to your will." Shade sounded genuinely sad.

 

"I don't wish for it. Leave me!" Façade said, nearly growl-like

 

"No! I am the opposite of you, you need me. Locked up I may be, I'm forced to exist like Mall and Shadow now. I hate it. But exist I have to because you will die. And you're not even a vampire. It scares me. What is wrong with you?" Shade quaked when he looked at Façade.

 

"Damn Right, you should be scared of me. Because you may be my nightmare, but I'm yours." Façade shouted to the dark shadow.

 

"You win" Shade disappeared, but he was still there, offering his input and opinion in Façade's mind.

 

"Shut up."

 

Façade smiled at Summer when she flew onto the ship. Swirlybird purred and rubbed his head on Façade, obviously trying to calm his troubled thoughts. Façade was slightly pissed, but he calmed down. No doubt that his eyes could change colors again.

"sorry love almost got this spot done" Cresent was about to continue when he herd Summers and Facdes blood beats return, he didn't realize they had left. He wondered if Emerald and him made too much noise. He shook his head thinking of bringing it up back at ponyvill, he had to admit the idea did pop in his head for proposing....but the more he thought about it, still too soon. And he didn't even know if he was going to be king, it still scared him.

 

Once he finished the last dried blood on Emeralds wings he paused taking a break for a bit, "you know one of the feeding session we might need to pull out a towel before hoof if we keep this up" he chuckled a bit hugging his lover then began to work on her back, "I wonder if what the food will be like" he thought out loud then continued his mission.

 

The tricky part with the back was if one went too slow it would still be a working up bit especially where the wing and the back met, he decided to save that for last.

"Why do you eye colors change Facade I've never seen that before in any pony?"

Emerald took her fangs out of her hoof so she could speak. "If we actually think these things through our feeding is rather spontaneous most of the time." Which made her think. "what about poor Summer who is she going to feed on?"

Façade sighed, "The shade isn't dead. It shows my emotions, through my eyes. Because eyes are the gateway into your soul." Façade went to the ship's wheel, and adjusted the course, it kept getting pushed to the left by trade winds. "If you're hungry I have food and blood vials in my knapsack by the railing." Façade cursed his luck, he had thought he was free, but alas he was not. He wasn't leaving the wheel until they reached Manity.

Cresent paused the cleaning mission feeling the skiff moving, he wondered if they were really heading the right direction, hearing summers blood beat normal...Well the new normal for her blood beat being turned vamp not skyrocket with adrenalin he shrugged. In a way without knowing it Summer was the one thing he was listening to from stopping him from going up there and grilling Façade on the sense of direction...Yet he thought nothing of it and continued cleaning his lover. Then paused again after Emeralds question, it was a good one to ask.

 

"crap, if not me or you or another vamp we know she...." his eyes went wide he shook his head stomping the thought out.

 

He looked up at the ceiling to where the two pony's were standing above him hearing the blood beats..."that's her lesson I think, am I cruel for having her learn like that, or am I just not thinking" he thought out loud.

"it's serious Crescent she must find someone she can feed on or she may just start attacking at random I mean the apples just don't cut it sometimes."

"I could do with some food, death makes one hungry." Summer walked over and opened the knapsack and ate some sandwiches, "these are rather good."

Cresent sat there blinking a bit at the ceiling "I know she wont attack anypony in manity, I just fixed that and I can still control her from this distance, but after Manity, what ever happens I cant put any bits on it love....she may" he pause now looking at emerald in the eye chooseing his next words carefully "there is a small. very small amount of blood rage in her I know that but I don't know when she will have her rage fight when she dose" he looked up again at the ceiling emerald saw a small tear begin to form.

 

"it might kill her" he said, closing his eyes again almost ashamed..."did I really kill her, did I just ruin her life" he got up looking out the small lower window  

 

"Emerald, maybe her and black beak should go back to ponyville. He knows how to help us, he's done so many times but at the same time....gah! why cant I think straight?!" he put his head on the floor away from there love spot

"Look you're doing it again this royalty question is messing with that lovely mind I like in your head, look we are just going to have to take this one step at a time like Summer is...if somehow your monster kills her she had a few more days or weeks of life that you gave her, but that is not going to happen she's a fighter she knocked you to the ground first go I think she can handle your royal blood now flowing her her veins." Emerald walked over and put her hoof on his shoulder, "look love she'll cope, we will just have to find a way."
