Cresent smiled looking interested but in reality he didn't care, leaning over to emerald "thinking time done right ill have a plan for her in manity" he whispered back then resumed his interested look into what ever summer was going on about. His mind in turn raced through the ways to make this work while asking questions about rainbow dash that summer could rant about.

Summer kept going and going. "Summer my dear I think we don't need to know that about Rainbow dash how about we get ready for swapping ships yes?" Summer looked a little insulted by Emerald's comment but, she knew she tended to rant a bit so nodded they both stood. "coming Cres?"

As Façade sped over the land and river, he smiled, and then he spotted a riverboat on the river ahead. "Who's that? I didn't think these guys went this late, certainly that's not public..." Façade exclaimed, completely suprised, "no way, they did expand to night service. Huh, who's on board." Façade grabbed his telescope, and extended it. Façade adjusted it, and was shocked to see who was on board. "Crescent, Emerald... And Summer? How'd she end up on board, she's supposed to be with the others back in Ponyville... Wait... She's going to become one..." Façade searched for good words to describe the moment, whenhe settled with "Oh, Sweet Honey Iced Tea." Façade had adopted that saying when he cursed infront of a bunch of little kids, and a yellow one with a red mane suggested it to him. It had stuck, curse adorable fillies.

 

"Wait... If they're vampires, wouldn't they have drained the crew and Summer dry... Seems to me like there's a particular lack of information going on here..." Façade then realized something, "They're taking her to family! Which means that it gonna get bloody... Façade heard a rustling behind him, and Façade's skiff had been boarded by three vampires. "Really?"

 

Façade quickly knocked them out, and dumped them in the river. He had to get to the riverboat, if anything, no more death to innocents. Façade felt a dark heartbeat next to his own, as Façade began to trail the riverboat.

"agreed love" cresent got up and followed the two mares too their cabin, his head was still running thru idea's on the idea of summer coming long but not coming along, an headache soon followed. The transition between ships went without any hitch's for the three of them. The ship was bigger and larger by far made for the sea and its mighty waves. Cresent did wish he could fly the rets of the way but this was as low profile as they could get....which seemed to be the understatement of the century.  

 

In their cabin cresent found  phone dialed up Darkbeak "hey bro I was about to try to write to you my ship will beat you guys there"

 

"good that will help with things, and I'm going to need a talon from you"

 

"who did she bite?" asked the gryphon

 

"no bites, just I'm bringing an unexpected pony with me"

 

"ok who did you bite?"

 

Cresent whished he had magic at this point "you know im better then that, you remember summer. my mare friends cousin, the yellow one" 

 

"no" the gryphon said rather quickly

 

"bro hear me out" began cresent

 

after an hour cresent got off the phone and looked at the two mare in the cabin "we got a plan, first summer see what the dinner options are tonight could you?" he asked.

 

Once the yellow mare left cresent breathed out looking at his lover "now that she's gone, she wants to be a vamp. she's your family and I know better then to interfere like that so ill make it your call whether she'll be bitten or not. If she is teaching her will be  crash course, not as bad as what you went through but still risky with my family around her. Dark beak knows our kind well, so he's agreed to watch her during the reunion if you or I do bite her. If you don't dark beak will take her back to philly when we meet him there. Again your cousin your call" he said wondering what Emerald will say

"She does? You can read her better than me, if she doesn't yet not by a long shot she's way too young she's only 19 in a few years sure but no yet not by a long shot." Emerald stood up pacing the cabin, "she only seems curious about your family to me, she's always keen to learn."

Façade had managed to follow the riverboat to a seaside dock, where he got off and bought some chips and some spicy salsa. "I've got to move quick. Summer. Where did I here that name... No matter, we've got precious little time." Façade took out a couple of chips and munched on them while he looked around the dock, and saw the riverboat. Quickly adopting a Canterlot accent, Façade conviced the riverboat manager he was family of theirs, an uncle of Emerald's. The riverboat captain said that the young couple had left onto a large ship designed to handle these waves. "Thank you, good sir." Façade flew to his ship, leaped upon the skiff, and rocketed off over to the seas. Soon the large ship was in the horizon. "Goodness, I need to move quickly. I've got to get two vampires off that ship and quietly as possible."

Façade docked his ship on the water beside the large ship. He quickly climbed aboard. It was evening, and the sun was setting in a cacophony of colors. Façade pulled his hood over his face, and unlocked his swords on his back. Façade was nervous, his heart beat like a jackhammer. Façade took several deep breaths to start to calm it down. He walked along the cabin section, quietly sneaking along. Façade was glad for the wardrobe change, he had armor on always, while looking like a regular citizen.

Cresent moved towards his mare friend hugging her close "sorry iv been stressed as much as this is our vaction of all things" he looked out the window "again your call love I don't want to do anything to upset you knowing how much you and your family are, just let me know when your ready" he said

"you're gonna have to ask Summer she is the one supposedly who wants it when she comes back ask her."

Meanwhile Summer was walking to the dinner and she bumped into a pony with a hood on, "Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going my apologies, My name is Summer who are you?"

 

(Summer hasn't a clue who Facade is.)

"Hello Summer, I am Dark Façade, Façade said, pulling back his hood." Façade was worried, now this mare could easily tell.... she's not with the others. "I am sorry, I'm not used to other ponies all that well. Façade sheathed all his weaponry quickly, and smiled. What to do? "I was just heading to the dining room..." Façade looked at signs above his in the hallway, and he didn't know which way to go. "Which now I've gotten lost. Are you going to grab a bite to eat?"

"well no I wasn't intending to eat, just see what was on offer but I could always grab a bite to eat sure why not, follow me I know the way." As they walked, "what's with all the weapons are you with the EUP or a um mercenary is it?" She led him to dining room and the sat at a table together. "so what you want for a bite to eat then? Better grab some apples for my other travellers."

Dark Façade didn't want to tell Summer, 'I'm a bounty hunter hired to kill your cousin and her coltfriend' but... He actually did have a good reason for possessing his swords and knives. "I am a mercenary of sorts, I hunt down those running from their due punishment. or who are just downright criminals. On occasion I work with the police to insure justice. It's all unofficial, but other times, I have to go alone so others don't get hurt." Façade was actually telling the truth, which was surprising him. As Façade sat down at the table he thought about what he wanted to eat, he actually was hungry, "Huh, I think a good grilled cheese sandwich would be great. What would you like to eat?" Façade had about six hundred bits, so he could handle a meal easily.

"Wow that is a lot of money, I mean it takes me 3 months to make that much money, you must make a load of bits in your line of work then wow." Summer picked up a menu and looked through the various listed meals. "Um guess i'll have a salad then, and those apples half a dozen should do. So you job sounds fun not like mine i'm just a weather pony."

Façade bought the salad, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a half dozen apples. "Excitement isn't always the best, I do what I have to pay my bills. The place I live at is an old garage in Canterlot, which is expensive, and but we have projects that turn out of there which allow us to live comfortably. But believe me, money isn't the secret to happiness. The reason I've got so much is because I've got to settle things in Manity, and I might be there a while." Façade thought about the weathermare statement, and then said as he thought, "I think that everypony doing what they do keeps everything running smoothly, if somepony doesn't play their part, well, we all can't be Rainbow Dash." Façade thought about the what Summer had said a bit more, "And when the time presents itself, or you make the time, to move on, you can take it."

"Easy for you to say, my job just makes ends hay but I like it, thanks for the apples my cousin will love them, she does her part too, i didn't say this but Emerald she's my cousin she's just as awesome as Rainbow you know she's head of Twilight's personal guard so cool." Summer started at her salad.

The last statement confirmed the family connection, but meh. More talking, "Well, I'm sorry that things aren't great, but I think that you will get to where you're headed, no problem. And congratulations to your cousin, it takes skill to be a good guardspony." Façade glanced around quickly, and then returned to the conversation, "But here's a question, what are you planning to do when you reach Manity? Surely a wonderful place to visit, especially 'round this time of year, any family coming as well?"

"well my cousin and her coltfriend are coming we are going to visit his family in Manity it's gonna be cool though i was not supposed to come them being vam...um I mean not knowing I'm coming." Summer resumed eating her salad she hoped he did not here that blunder.

Façade had caught that, but choose not to pressure. "Ah, a stowaway, I remember back when I was younger, I did the same thing. But I got onto the wrong ship instead of the one my father was on and didn't find out until two days later. It turned out the crew of the ship I hid on were of a construction crew. Nice folks, a bit odd, and always smelled like chili peppers. Weird."

"well yeah I got caught too, but they are ok with it now so on harm no faul, so why are you going to Manity I mean I told you why I am going a less cryptic answer if you please." Summer ate the rest of her salad. "well I need to get back they will need the apples with so many ponies around, oh I was not meant to say that but you don;t know what the means so it's fine then."

"I'm heading to Manity to meet to take care of a contract I'm working on, I've only met the stallion once, but I think I'll find him in Manity." Façade smiled at Summer, and then said one last thing to her, "but you be careful. If you need me, I'll be here, I'm still a bit hungry, so I'll be eating another sandwich." Façade knew exactly what Summer had meant when she had made the remark about apples.

"well it was nice to meet you then Mr. taking-care of business in Manity." She giggled, then stood up with the apples and said goodbye again and left on her way back to the cabin.

"...I'm not asking her you do it" As Emerald was arguing with Crescent, then Summer walked in.

@, Before cresent could retort summer came in with the apples cutting off what ever cresent was going to respond with. Yet he was glad summer showed up really he always sucked at arguments so he decided to drop it the rest of the night. Breathing out he smiled looking at summer.

 

"thanks summer, I wasn't expecting apples but hey this is a cruise liner they should have everything food wise"  

 

he took an apple and gave an apologetic one towards emerald 'sorry' he mouthed at his lover handing the apple, looking back at summer the batpony asked "so how's the boat look, good pasta section at all, and is there a pool? I forgot to see what the ship has here" he asked trying to relive the mood for both of them.

Summer came in and sat down in a chair in the cabin, "I havn't seen the pool yet, but there was a good selection of pasta on the menu yes so that will at least make you happy."

"Thanks for the apples Summer, we are getting a little thirsty so these are just the trick." She nudged Crescent

@, Cresent smiled getting her meaning, "agreed, that's a relief" the bat pony said laying next to emerald exposing his neck for her. "I have to admit this is the first time iv been on a cruise ship of all things for travel. What about for you ladys?" he asked. Looking up at his lover was probably the most relaxing site he has ever seen with there relationship, its what he always looked forward to on a bad day.   

 

He didn't mind if the feeding happened in front of summer, it only bothered him if it was by company unknown to him or obviously in public. Also it would show summer what's needed to be a vamp if he was correct, he really hoped he was wrong on it.  

 

"also summer I just realized something" his gaze went from the dealing and his lover to summer.

 

"where do you want to sleep?" he asked

"I have my own cabin a few decks down so I will retire to there, and this is the first time i've been on a ship mind a passenger liner, what about you Em?"

"I have been on a ship before but I was on duty the whole time so I never had a chance to relax it was rather annoying but now I can so it's rather nice."

Façade had decided to follow Summer, and quietly followed her. Façade then heard her open a door, and looked down the hallway, extended the telescope 1/8 of the way, saw the number, 218, and then heard a angry grunt behind him.

 

Façade turned around to see an angry manager and quickly hid the telescope. "What do you think you're doing? You don't have a ticket, and you don't have a room. I am going to report you!" Façade knew exactly how to handle this.

 

"I am severely disappointed, I come on board, and I can't find the ticket master. Then to top it off, since I can't find him, I've spent today in the lunch room, and I have yet to find him!" Façade furled his brow and snorted, "WHERE IS HE?!?!?!" Façade shouted, looming over the now fearful manager, Façade felt his eyes changing to red.

 

The manage's eyes shrank to pinpricks, and he shakily said, "I'll just take you ticket... please?"

 

Façade fished out the middle class tickets, and snorted again derisively. "I'd like my room, now. Façade put extra emphasis on the 'now'. He extended his hoof, and then waited while the manager scuffled to get him a key before getting yelled at.

 

Façade took the key, and saw the number. 217. Oh, Horseapples.

 

"Thank you. Insure this trip runs smoothly and the board won't here of this," Façade opened the door his heart racing, laid down on the bed, and let the waves lull him to sleep.
