Just curious to see if anyone of you here played,have played, or are interested in playing. I've been addicted to this game for over four years and have done just about everything to trader to full blown piracy and I find it to be one of the most amazing experiences in gaming I've ever had.

I played EVE for several years. I would have to say that it is my favorite MMO that I have played, and is responsible for some of my favorite gaming memories.

 

Haven't played it in a year or so though, you almost have to dedicate your life to the game in order to do certain things, and I haven't felt like comitting that much time to it lately.

Back when the Northern Collation was a thing I was the CEO of a mining and manufacture Corp who provided them with their T1 ships. After a betrayal that saw me out of pocket somewhere around 80 billion in ISK and assets, I moved back to high-sec and quit the game for a while.

 

When I came back I spent my entire time docked in Jita trading, while I don't play anymore, I did resubmit a few months ago in order to make use of the API and out of interest traded again, making an average of 350 million a day in profits.

 

 

It's a good game, I just don't have the time for it and I don't find anything other than stock market manipulation entertaining anymore.

i played it for abit and it was kinda fun but having to physically wait a million years to learn things is kind of a problem. That and some players are super aggressive when it comes to pvp and just seem to want to ruin things for other players.

Yea, I think the big draw back to this game is that in most areas of the game you pretty much have to dedicate a lot of time to the game. Though I have found ways to enjoy the game on a tight schedule.

 

Right now I enlisted my main in faction warfare, and I pretty much only log in for about an hour or two and PvP or run a few missions and log out. I found it to be a better setup then when I was in Test or Nulli (rip N3). Content comes rather quickly in the warzone mostly in the form of 1v1s or 1v2s (unless you're in Huola) and its not long before I usually get my fill and feel satisfied.

 

Yes EVE definately takes time to get into, but its more so about how you spend the time you play, rather than how long you play. You just have to find what you like doing and find a way to make it work within your limits.
