The synopsis doesn't sound too interesting to me but since they're going outside of the school setting, I'm happy to give this one a shot.

One thing I wonder is if EQG is still going to be going down the tubes saleswise. Its been dragging MLP down the last quarter and seems to be in a downward spiral.

So if LOE doesn't pop back up for sales, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last EQG movie.

My bet is that the mane six's actions have caused the barriers between the worlds to weaken, so magic from the everfree forest in equestria is leaking through to the human everfree forest and causing the issues as it turns into its equestrian counterpart.

Yeah that does seem pretty likely. Like how the evil plants came through when Twi's device opened in the last movie.
