ManaMinori 4,149 February 15, 2016 Share February 15, 2016 (edited) I just got done re-watching Tinkerbell and the Pirate fairy, and I lovd the movie so much, because it dares to have a too-curious character question the "why" of the magic that already exists, and experiment with it, through alchemy, to create a variety of new magic, in spite of being told not to question or experiment, and just accept that that's how things are. I think a "Zarina" is just what FiM needs, someone who may have good intentions; could be studying magic and the Tree's elemnts of harmony, and experimenting with them to create something like raw harmony magic, more powerful than the magic of friendship that Twilight discovered (since, as we've seen through Starlight Glimmer and Sunbeam, and Apple bloom and Twist, some friendships aren't everlasting), but get doublecrossed by someone who uses the new magic for their own ends. What are your thoughts? cmarston1 5,964 February 15, 2016 Share February 15, 2016 In Magical Mystery Cure Starswirl the Bearded's unfinished spell actively affected the elements of harmony and the mane 6's destinies, so if he ever shows up in the show, maybe he could be that kind of villain. Subscriber Denim&Venöm 20,498 February 15, 2016 Subscriber Share February 15, 2016 I can see that working. Though I doubt it'll be a villain. More likely it'll be Twi herself or a member of the cast that does the experimenting, and then has to rectify the situation.
Fhaolan 4,494 February 15, 2016 Share February 15, 2016 I'd like to see something similar to that, if nothing else to find out how relevant the Elements of Harmony are now they've been reclaimed by the Tree, and whether the Rainbow Power thing is supposed to be an rephrasing of EOH power, a complete replacement with no connection to the old, or something that the writers will now ignore from that point on?
