Travelture changed his leg to dark grey and said as he looked the hoof over and changed it back to white,

"I don't really believe in aliens, and maybe someone knows what I look like and want to scare me. I don't think ya have answered my question. What do ya mean everything that happened, did ya mean after the separation into cells?"

Kyubi nodded slightly. "Yeah. The strange thing was that mine was basically a bed room." She said. "I guess the cells take the appearance of what the inhabitant is familiar with. Anyway, we need to find the others and try to find a way out of here." The bat pony then stood and listened to her surroundings, making sure that none of the aliens were close.

Travelture said as he stood up,

"My cell was blank, maybe that's because nowhere is familiar for me, I travel a lot before I get used to a place."

His skin changed to a dark grey with white rib markings down his back, black on his nose, and his horn changed into a changeling's. 

"Let's get going, the sooner we get everyone, the easier it will be to find the ending of this prank.

Upon exiting her hiding spot, Gale found herself in a room that would be empty except for one thing. Sitting in the middle was a small, metal arch. The arch lead to a whole other room, acting as a one way portal. Gale would be able to fit inside if she were to crawl.

As Gale moved forward, she was honestly expecting something to jump out at her, but it never came. The dragoness then noticed the one way exit out of the area she was in and had doubts that going in would help. She couldn't really see a way out,though, considering the fact that path behind her had been destroyed in the same explosion that took out the aliens. Gale then gave a light sigh and walked through, her vision filling with white.

Gale walked out onto a large balcony that was in the middle of a huge chamber that was hundreds of feet high, and had large force fields on its walls that allowed a view of space. Jutting out from the balcony was a curved platform with a small console jutting out of it.

Kyubi nodded slightly and simply figured that Travelture was going through denial. The best thing she thought she could do for now would be to jut simply play along. "Ok, then. I'll tell you when I hear anyone coming." She said, moving forward carefully.

When her vision cleared, Gale was surprised to say the least. She had seen the night sky when she had flown plenty of times and she knew that they were in space from what she had seen earlier, but she still couldn't help but gawk. The dragoness then noticed the console ahead of her and slowly walked forward. It didn't take her long to reach it and she carefully pressed one of the buttons on the console.

The console beeped and a bridge extended out from the balcony to the other side of the vast chamber. A section of the wall opened up and a spherical robot with four red eyes and two short arms came out. It floated over to Gale, and made a bright flash before saying, "Specimen recorded."

Gale was surprised to say the least when the robot took what she assumed was a picture of her. The dragoness decided that it would be best not to attack the robot, and turned her attention to the bridge that had just appeared. "I have a bad feeling about this." She thought, as she walked forwards cautiously.

Travelture levitated his book out of his bag and started reading it. Out the corner of his eye, he noticed a puzzle box. He levitated it into his bag and said as he went to back to his book

"If ya don't mind me asking, could ya tell me a little bit more about yourself."

"I don't mind at all." Kyubi said, noting the lack of any other sound outside from the pony in front of her and herself. "I'm a musician who specializes in playingthe flute and I was born in Stalliongrad." The bat pony's mood then darkened slightly as she prepared the last part of what she would say. "Almost all of my senses are enhanced when compared to a normal pony due to the fact that I was born blind. That's as much as you need to know."

Travelture said as he kept reading, 

"That's sad, being born blind. Must be a problem sometimes. But the other senses being enhance does have its perks sometimes."

He thought of his past and all that happened. He placed his book back in his bag and said,

"It is at times, especially when something can't be easily described with words." Kyubi said. "That and the fact that there are some things you need to truely see in order to do correctly." The bat pony then gave a slight smile as Travelture continued. "I think that would be fair."

Travelture thought about where to start. After a few minutes, he said,

"As you are talented with music, I'm talented in misfortune to anyone that get to know the whole me, wherever I go. I was born, I should say hatched in a wasteland, without anyone around except a small village. I went there, spent the night there, then I woke up to the village being gone. Then I started my travels around Equestria."

As Gale walked across the bridge, two larger robots flew up on either side. They had eight large, red eyes, two large arms.

 

In a synchronized voice, they both said, "SUBJECT #22874, SUBMIT TO PROCESSING IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT, USE OF FORCE IS AUTHORIZED."

Gale glanced at the two robots and felt every muscle in her body tense. She didn't know what would happen to her if she went with the robots, and she definetly wasn't going down without a fight. The dragoness then sprang forward and ran as fast as she could to the other side of de if the chamber. "I'm not going to die here." She thought to herself. The dragoness could feel her fire building up in her chest as she ran.

The robots set off in pursuit of Gale, firing large, red blasts of energy from their arms.

 

Back in the control room, Ballpoint was watching the whole thing on one of the monitors.

 

She fiddled with a few more buttons, and a microphone sprang from the panel.

 

"Hey, you, the dragon!" she said into the mic. "Can you hear me? I'll try and get you outta there!"

Gale was surprised to hear another voice. "Sorry, I can't really stop right now." She said, not to trusting of anything at this point. As the dragoness ran, a blast of energy passed a few centimeters over her head, scaring the dragoness a bit. She didn't think these things would kill her, so she assumed the blasts were meant to incapacitate. The weirdest part was that she could hear what sounded like a ballon inflating.

Kyubi tilted her head slightly and thought for a second. "Just because an entire village disappeared on the night you stayed there doesn't mean it was because of you." She said. The bat pony found the beginning of Travelture's story interesting, though. A numb feeling then sprouted and grew through the bat pony's left hind legs, causing her to lose balance. Now that the adrenaline surge from earlier had worn off, the effect that the blast had on her was starting to make itself apparent.

"Actually, after the village, I headed to Canterlot, began working. Then when I was about to leave, everyone that knew me had misfortune. It happen in Crystal Empire, Ponyville, any place that I have been to"

He noticed that she lost her balance and said,

"Are ya alright?"

Kyubi glanced at Travelture and nodded. "Yeah. I just got hit by whatever those aliens were firing earlier. One of my legs is basically numb." She said. While the bat pony could fly, she probably wouldn't be able to maintain it for the duration of whatever was happening to her leg, and that was assuming that it wouldn't spread past that. There was a good chance that she could possibly lose all motor function.

Back in the control room, Ballpoint continued fiddling with the vast array of buttons. She pressed a large blue button, which turned to orange as she pressed it. Ballpoint looked back at the monitor, and saw a portal open in front of Gale. She heard a fizzle, and another portal opened behind Ballpoint.

Gale noticed the portal and ran straight for it. The robots tried to stop her, but she managed to dodge the shots with a few near misses.Eventually, she ran into the portal, panting from exertion, and collapsed to the ground behind Ballpoint. "Are we safe in here?" She asked.

Ballpoint swore as Gale fell down on the floor of the control room. She quickly pressed the button that had opened the portal, closing it back up.

 

"I think it's safe here," she said. "Hey, you're that dragon I saw getting pulled up from the bar. I'm Ballpoint by the way."
