Steady cheered with a giggle and ran over to the beach but stopped just in front of the water. She then carefully tested the water with her hoof. The water seemed warm enough so she jumped right in.

 

"Come on, the waters great!"

Red shrugged and ran into the water, splashing Steady along the way.

"Hey! That wasn't very nice!" Steady laughed and splashed him back.

"Well neither is this," Red said splashing her again.

Giggles filled the air as Steady splashed him more while slowly making her way closer. Once they were within hoof's reach Steady gave him a wet kiss.

Taking advatsge of Red's opening, Steady then playfully tackled him into the shallow end and began to roll around as they wrestled in the sand. The two soon stopped with Steady laying on top of Red laughing.

Red laughed as well, and taking advantage of his back in the water, he threw one more playful spalsh.

Steady closed her eyes and dodged it by coming in for a kiss once more.

 

"Wow, that was so much fun Red! I love you." Steady said while nuzzling his neck.

(If you're thinking of my characters meeting Nel and Dancer are a day behind... Though I guess we could assume they went out the next day instead? Also, sorry for not being on today, my family wanted to go out and eat.)

Red lead Steady to a small sandwich shop. The smell of fresh bread filled the air. Red requested a table for two, and the host gave them a booth in the back corner of the room. The waitress arrived and asked what Red and Steady wanted to drink.

 

"Water," Red answered, "What do you want Steady?"

"Iced tea please." the waitress smiled politely and went to getthe drinks.

"So, do you think you'll get?" Red asked.

I'm just going to get a strawberry salad."

"Okay," Red said, "I might get a simple hay sandwich."

 

The waitress came with the drinks, and took Red and Steady's orders, then left again to have them prepared.

"So Red, I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but... What happened to your mother?"
