"Oh, I meant tears on the hat's inside silly"

 

Nel motioned for the others to come closer.

 

"I have somepony else here I'm looking for before we leave. Just play along and maybe one of these ponies know."

 

The song ended right as Nel stopped speaking.

 

"Alright everypony that's enough for today. I'll think of another song tomorrow." The crowd cried out in frustration but eventually dissipated.

 

"So, I didn't think they'd be able to catch you so quickly Krooked Bass."

 

"You know me?"

 

"Everypony knows you, you guys weren't the only ones caught last night."

"Oh, okay," Red said, still a little unsure about her sincerity about the hat.

Steady: "So what should we do today?"

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"I guess we can walk around again and see what else we can find, unless you want to do something specific."

 

(Sorry for the delay. Making a cake at 10:30pm.)

"Walking sounds fine, I've been enjoying all of the fresh air lately. It's just so calming." Steady led the way outside and latched on to Red's arm as they walked.

"So, how's the fedora?" Red asks.

[Twinight125 45]

"Wonderful, I feel it goes pretty well with my style." Steady grinned again and stopped in front of a small flower stand.

 

"One rose please." the vendor handed her the bright red flower and took a bit in return. Steady than placed the rose in her fedora.

 

"What do you think?"

"aww thanks." She gave him a peck on the cheek before continuing down the road.

"Oh, and the hat looks good too," Red said with a little smile.

Steady blushed lightly and held him tighter as they walked through the town.

 

"Thanks"

"You're welcome," Red said.

The two continued walking until they found themselves near the outskirts of town.

 

"Hey, I have an idea. Would you like to see my old house?"

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"Sure," Red answered.

Steady led Red through an old trail that eventually ended at a small house. It had a bright green color that seemed to have faded over the years. Steady looked inside a window to see if anypony was inside. Seeing the coast was clear she led Red in through the front.

 

"Ahh, this sure brings back memories..."

"This place looks pretty nice," Red said sweeping off some dust on the floor with his hoof, "Even with the age."

I suppose, I haven't been here to clean up. With the guards and all. I gave up on trying to move back in a long time ago. It was never the same with out Dad, the worry of guards arriving didn't help either." Steady grabbed a towel from a drawer and began to dust various parts of the living room and it's fireplace.

"I see," Red replied, "Do you have another towel? I'll help you."

[Twinight125 45]

"Thanks." Steady tossed him an extra and began dusting pictures over a brick fireplace. She stopped when she held a certain picture. It showed her father smiling with a younger her at what looked like a park in Manehatten. A tear formed and trickled down her cheek.

Red looked to his side, noticed Steady, and wiped the tear off her face. "It's okay," he whispered.

(Sorry, fell asleep.)

 

"I'm sorry Red I just miss him so much." She sniffed a little but continued to clean each picture.

 

"You know what's sad? I don't remember a lot of these pictures. My father would always take me places but I can't remember where anymore."

"It's weird how memory works. I don't remember half the things I did with my dad."

(Painting a fence sucks xD)

"I just wish I could, it feels like everyday he's gone I forget something more about him." Steady sighed while moving to an old recliner that sat across from the fireplace.

 

"This chair I remember though. My father would let me sit with him while we watched the fire burn. Sometimes he would tell me fairytales to help me sleep as well."

Dance grins, "Hear that Strobe, Nel's famous!" *Senses that Nel doesn't want to talk about the mysterious impisoned pony at the moment*

 

Strobe gives a blank look* "Wai', wha?"
