Red sighed a little bit and took a sip of his own coffee. He's not sure what to do about his relationship with Steady, but soon, it will turn out one way or another.

 

(I just noticed something. I put in a lot of symbolism when I RP. I don't even think about it. XD)

"But please answer this and I know it's a tough question... Why not me? Why after all we've been through would you choose somepony else?" Steady hesitated before answering.

 

"B-because I was lonely. Yes we were always together but it was as friends. I didn't want to risk our friendship so I... looked elsewhere..." Tears continued to build up.

Red put down his coffee and patted her on the back.

"But I would have been there if you had asked. I would have done anything for you..." Nel rested his head on his hooves.

Red went back to his coffee when he noticed he didn't give Steady a cup. "Would you like some coffee Steady?" he asked.

"Yes please..." She moved closer to Nel when Red got up.

 

"Nel... I'm sorry I didn't give you a chance but now... I don't know what I'm feeling..."

 

"I know Steady, and I wont rush your decision. Could you atleast give me a chance?" She hesitated before replying.

 

(Red heard that)

Red waited for Steady's reply. He has an idea what she might say, and his heart sinks at the thought of it.

"I-I... y-yes..."

Red pours Steady's cup of coffee, but waits. It might not be a good time to enter.

"You will? Thank you so much Steady!" Nel brought Steady into a tight embrace. He closed his eyes to enjoy the moment.

Red let out a sigh.

Steady smiled as well and returned the hug. Her eyes closed as well.

'Well, I guess I better go in there,' Red thought to himself. Red came in with Steady's cup of coffee. "Here you go," he said putting the cup down. He tried to mask his sadness.

 

(Red's heart broken. T.T)

"I know," Red said looking into Steady's eyes, "It's okay."

 

(If we just push through for a little longer.)

"I'm sorry, Im just so confused right now." She gave him a hug and covered her face to hide tears.

"It's okay," Red repeated, "It's okay."

[Twinight125 45]

"I... I need some time to myself." Steady slowly made her way outside and gently shut the door.

 

Nel rested his head on his hooves once again.

 

"Sometimes I wonder if music being illegal is the real cause of her pain..."

"Tell me about it," Red replied, "It is for me at least."

"Im sorry I caused this... I just couldn't lose her..."

[IvoryVinyl 48]

"It's okay," Red said sitting down.

Nel then stood up and put on some music. "Sorry, I need something to calm my nerves.
