"I just confirmed my suspicions about Red and Steady. They've been in a relationship from pretty much the beginning."

 

Steady helped Red out of his chair and walked with him outside.

Red sighed. "I'm sorry this involves you."

"Don't be, Im happy you tried to protect me. But Nel is a good colt, I'll have a talk with him later. We haven't talked in a long time anyways..."

 

(Oh no ai just bought the Walking Dead and I'm playing it with the lights off...)

"Okay," Red said, "I still feel bad though."

"Well is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" Steady smiled at him.

(Drat! Tried to thumbs up a song on Pandora and thumbed it down.)

Steady gave him one more kiss. "If there's anything else you need or want just ask."

Steady walked with aimlessly around town square. She would occasionally nuzzle Red's neck as they went.

As they walked, they ran into a familliar face.

 

"Well hiya there," Sand Crystal shouted announcing his presence.

 

"Hello, father," Red said.

 

"How ya'll doin' today?" Sand asked.

"Oh hey Mr. Chrystal! We're doing fine, what about yourself?"

"Well I'm a doin' pretty good. I was just passin' by here. I'm takin' the day off. Wanna see the vase I made the other day?" He pulls out a gooseneck vase out of his bag.

"Oh Mr. Chrystal, it's beautiful! So is this what you do everyday?"

"Yep. Do 'bout seven or eight of these a day and sell 'em on the spot."

 

(Going to bed. Night.)

"That's amazing... So you tried to teach Red this?"

"Tried? He's. Better than anypony I know."

 

"Father, you know I haven't blown glass for a while," Red said, "I'm probably not as good as I was."

"Well, I'll be a settin' up the tent," Sand said, "Ya'll meet me in the park in 'bout an hour."

 

"We'll see you there," Red replied.

 

Sand Crystal trotted off.

 

"Well, let's see how much I remember," Red said to Steady.
