"Ah'll get right on it, sir," said Redwood before leaving the meeting room and heading down to the main hall.

 

"Let's go, let's go!" Redwood ordered as she repeatedly hit the wall with her baton. "We got a princess inspection tomorrow, so ah want every blood stain washed off, every wounded prisoner bandaged up, and every guard to stand at attention!"

But...But that's awfull! It's like if you were slaves! Not having names. Not even designation numbers? It's just unacceptable! How do you do to differentiate yourself? Perhaps each have a unique ultrasonic sound frequency? Or smell? There has to be something that takes the role no? You can't be just an empty puppet without any personality!

"Y'all ain't gonna believe it," she said as she walked back in. "Th' damn princesses are comin' tomorrow fer an inspection. Ah might get in trouble if ah let 'em know what we've been doin'."

"Let me guess, even if I say no, you'll still give me a name."

It sighed and said,

"Fine."

 

Shadow walked through the halls making sure that everything was going accordingly. He walked to Missklang's cell and said,

As for the guests.... well... If what I think they are is true, then I doubt it won't explode somehow. After all, I do possess some "undesirable" information... I won't riot or lock guards. But you can't stop me from doing.... harmless teasing...Aaaa. Poor sun flank. I held to her as much respect as Discord does. And nearly for the same reasons. Oh, I know! I should draw a lot of Luna posters! And put them all over the place! Hihihihi! Yes!

He left to see how the guard are doing.

Missklang turned around and looked at the ceiling. She then looked at the guard and smiled.

 

Well,that's quite simple. Remember I told you I lived in Staliongrad for few decades? Well, in their language, the word "rys" means "lynx". I thought it sounded cool. What do you think?

Hooligan jumped up in shock, "What the Princesses are coming tomorrow?! They weren't suppose to be here for ages!" screamed Hooligan, "This is not good at all. I had so many plans that aren't even half ready yet." Hooligan slumped onto the ground, "how am I supposed to commit regicide without a plan?"

Redwood grabbed Hooligan and gave him a hard backhoofed slap.

 

"Regicide!?" she yelled. "Do y'all mean to tell me that y'all were plannin' on killin' the princesses? Listen, ah don't give a damn about what plans y'all had cookin', y'all ain't gonna be killin' no princesses."

Hooligan chuckled as he rubbed where Redwood slapped him, "well of course i'm not gonna kill them now." Hooligan said as though it eas obvious, "i may be good but i can't put together a master plan in a day. I guess i shouldnt feel too bad. It's not the first time i failes to kill them."

"How do ah know y'all ain't gonna kill 'em? It seems plausible enough that y'all could be lyin' to me," said Redwood.

 

She wasn't going to take any chances. If something bad happened to the princesses, she could get thrown in jail herself, or maybe even worse than that. Redwood just couldn't take any risks.

Hooligan looked up at Redwood, "you're right," Hooligan said with a wide grin, "I could be lying to you. I could even be concocting a way to kill the Princesses as we speak. But since I have no way of proving that I won't kill them you will just have to trust me."

"Alright, y'all wait there fer just a couple minutes then," Redwood said before she left the room once again.

 

She returned a few minutes later with a photo that she held out in front of Hooligan. The photo was a picture of Redwood posing seductively on her bed with her baton held in her mouth. She didn't have her bandana on, which allowed her short, hay colored mane to flop out over the bed. In addition was a red lipstick mark and her name written on the photo with several Xs and Os under it.

 

"Ah was keepin' this in case a situation like this ever came up, and ah sure ain't gonna take any risks. If y'all behave durin' th' princesses' inspection, y'all can keep this here photo," said Redwood.

Hooligan stared at the photo and his face turned a dark shade of red. For the first time in a while he was speechless. The picture was amazing and if he had wings he was sure they would be stretched out fully. He looked up at Red, "So if I behave you'll give this to me?"

Hooligan stared at the photo for a bit longer, he even started to drool, and the he looked up at Redwood. His blush still lingered on his face, "If all I gotta do to get this amazing photo is sit in my cell and do nothing all day then you better believe you got a deal."

"Good," said Redwood as she took off her bandana and used it to blindfold Hooligan again. "It's gettin' late and we got a princess inspection to prepare for. Ah'm gonna take y'all back to yer cell, and ah'm sure y'all got th' right motivation to behave." She then proceeded to shove Hooligan out of the room and began to guide him back to his cell.

Hooligan was quietly walking next to Redwood as he thought about the picture of Red. He thought about it in his head and sighed. The only problem was Hooligan had no idea if he could spend all day doing nothing. A sudden question entered his head. "Hey Red, not that I'm complaining but, why did you take that photo?"

Shadow ran to the bathroom and started scrubbing the blood off his claws, then he went to his office and started cleaning it. Once he was done, he sat down and started to eat some fish.

"That makes sense I guess," said Hooligan with a smile, "I am pretty wild." As Hooligan walk he thought about the deal an realised that he had all the power. Sure if he miss behaved he'd be without that amazing photo but Red would get fired or worse. Hooligan stopped walking and smiled, "Red wanna add something to the deal." he said, "if you want me to behave myself, then I want you to go on a date with me."
