@@Dapper Charmer,

"Oh, do tell," asked Redwood as she helped Hooligan off his bed.

She was very curious about his idea. Most of her relatives were in the army, so a lot of them would be deployed. The ones that weren't lived in Appleoosa, and that was no short distance from where they were.

"Well this is a trick I learned awhile back," said Hooligan as they walked out of the infirmary, "and basically what I do is I cast a spell on a mirror and think of a person and the mirror links to a reflective surface nearest to the person and hey presto magic video call."

Heh. Be careful. She might accidently die. I know how some ponies can be persistent with that. At her place, I would go to the solitary chamber which would annulate any magic effects to safely remove the cursed toy of yours. But I don't think she knows about it, does she? But now I think about it, it won't work. Curses don't work that way. She would still die. Too bad. I'll have to think about it...

He made a turn on the chair.

I think she was coming for that thing.

He pointed at the helmet.

I think she heard Nightmare talking about a new artefact you acquired and wanted to look it for herself. For purely scientific reasons naturally and out of pure innocent childish curiosity of course...

@@Dapper Charmer,

"Alright. Ah've pretty much stopped questionin' what magic can do by now, so ah guess this works. There's a mirror in th' bathroom of our quarters we can use," said Redwood.

This would definitely be much easier and speed up the process drastically. Redwood was a bit glad that she was marrying a unicorn.

Shadow nodded and said,

"So what's with this feral ya keep mentioning. If word gets out about that, the Princesses are going to have my head for it, and I already did enough."

Nightmare looked at the helmet, then walked out of the office, and headed towards her bedroom.

Hooligan smiled, "let's get to it then," he said happily. Hooligan headed to their quarters with Redwood. When they got there he walked into the bathroom. Just as Redwood said there was a mirror that was the perfect size for this spell, "who's first?" asked Hooligan.

From what I heard and know.

Missklang looked at Shadow.

Spellvamp found Mercury right as she escaped.... whenever you shove her into. Attacked her, drained of her magic. Tried to rape her. She got away of course and ended up at the infirmary where I first saw her. Then, I saw Spellvamp again upon leaving this office. He had a savage stare that was filled with animal rage and no sign of any clear mindedness. He tried to attack me, but I got away. In the process, he acted more than a dog than a pony. Then, he smelled or detected Nightmare and ran towards her, growling and such. So, I teleported forward and brought her here. And now, Mercury and Nightmare, both his potential targets just went off in the halls. That's the short of it I suppose. He was saying earlier he needed magic supply to be provided to him...

Shadow nodded walked over to a chest and started throwing relics out as he looked through it,

"I know I have a relic in here somewhere that can help."

He picked up a dagger and tossed it behind him, it embedded itself into the desk, then he said as he continued to toss relics,

"Don't worry about Nightmare, she can handle Spellvamp, and if it comes to rest, I can just give him a 16th of my magic."

@@Dapper Charmer,

"Ma and Pa of course," said Redwood.

An image of an older stallion with an eyepatch and a mare who was just about as old appeared on the mirror.

"Sequoia!" called the stallion. "What in th' name of-" he stopped when he saw Redwood. "Dear Celestia."

The mare walked up and said, "Oh, Redwood dearie, it's been so long. Oh, um, how are you talking to us, dear?"

"It's some kinda magic, Ma," answered Redwood.

"Well, is there any particular reason you called?" asked Ma.

Redwood took a deep breath before saying with a smile, "Ma, Pa, ah'm gettin' married."

A huge smile came across Ma's face and Pa asked, "Who's th' lucky stallion that's marryin' mah daughter?"

"Ah'd like y'all to meet Hooligan," said Redwood as she pulled him closer so they could see.
