Right before he reached Midnight he spawned a spiked mace and sent it towards Midnight with force. "Have a nice flight!" he said The mace seemed to glow with the same aura the explosive energy blade had, so it might be explosive itself too.

feral midnight conjured a sword to block the mace, but was thrown back by the explosive force, sending him into a tree, and growled conjuring the sword again, and shaking the ringing out of his ears, he managed to get back to his hooves, and with his vampire speed coupled with his wings he charged omega and feeling his head hit solidly against omegas side, he hope he had at least temporaraly knocked the sense out of him.

 

(just a heads up, his wings are still out so yeah X3

Omega let the attack hit him. It did do a bit of damage to his side, but Midnight did come into contact with his corruptive aura. This worked to his advantage.

 

(Mind if i have the corruption make him go to Omega's nether realm?)

midnight frowned and his eyes widened, "where in the hell am i?"

Midnight and Omega both stood in the outside world, seemingly frozen. Omega could still move though. He left the scene in sat on top of a cloud.

 

Omega stood across from Midnight in the nether realm. Instead of being a bland ever expanding world, they seemed to be in a crumbling building. It was Shadow's own Rave club from the human dimension. Everything looked destroyed except large music speakers.

Omega looked at Midnght "Hello my friend, you are in my world now. My own little thinking place. The best part is i control everything here." he said as the speakers started to blare out a song. "To put it simply....I must break you"

"Because it amuses me, and leaves one less threat to take care of in the end" he paused "Your constant questions tire me" he said as he sent another blast of energy towards Midnight. Without midnight knowing, the ground seemed to grab onto Midnight's hooves, nailing him to the ground.

midnight tried to fly, but found himself stuck to the ground, "aggh..." he was hit with the force and thats when the ground let go and it sent him into a wall, he hit it with alot of force and fell to the ground, but refused to stay there for long.

blood started to drip from the corner of his mouth, on his nether self and his real self, he spit out the blood, "questions tire you yet you listen to them anyway." he conjured his bow and arrows again, it was the best distance for this, and even if he would lose, he had one trick up his metaphorical sleeve.

"Well i don't like to be rude" he said Omega said, seemingly awaiting the attack with excitement.

midnight frowned, if he did what he wanted now, he might lose his chance to deal any kind of damage, but if he did he might lose his chance, so he fired 4 arrows in as many seconds, waiting knowing if anything about the last time, it would go through.

Before the arrows could reach him they dissipated to liquid. "Remember......I control everything in here" he said with a sick smile

midnight shut his eyes, how would he get out of this one? he felt weak, something about this place sapped his energy, he looked up, and smiled spitting out the blood, opening his eyes "fine..." was all he said, waiting.

omega was going to probibly going to hurt him within an inch of his life, and lethim go, or kill him outright, either one of them he didnt like, but were the only things possible.

It would seem as if the sport in hurting Midnight had ran out, but then it came back after his last words. He smiled "Fine" Before Midnight could do anything something hit him in the ribs, a brutal snap was heard when he was hit with tremendous force. it echoed throughout the broken building. Oddly enough it was Omega who did the damage. The regular Omega standing across the room slowly faded away as it was revealed to be just a shadow.

 

(got to hit the hay pretty soon)

Midnight cried out in pain as he hit the ground, but mumbled something to himeself, and slowly got to his hooves, gripping his ribs, even though it pained him he used his wings picked up his sword and made a cut at omega managing to cut off a piece of his mane, nowhere near his body, but midnight promised a fight, and even if omega didnt agree that it was barely a tizzy, he would fight as hard as he could.

The cut in his mane made him rather irritated. Omega decided to concentrate on his chest and internal organs. when he saw the chance he sent his hoof towards Midnight's chest with his brute force.

midnight groaned "aggh..." he made a swift cut at omegas face, hoping his blade did something as hewas sent into one of the crumbleing pillars lining the room, he coughed up blood, but even in his state, he stood up again mumbleing something incoherent, most likely words of encouragement as he took the sword in his mouth, his body was shaking but his eyes were solid.

The sword seemed to leave a cut on his face that quickly healed after ward. The walls started to grab onto Midnight again as Omega prepared the final blow. A energy beam started to charge up.

midnight smiled, "my friend, " he coughed a bit of blood "i...." he winced "had fun.....f-first" he smiled wider "fun in ages.." he grinned then started to laugh, just softly.

Omega smiled as the beam erupted out with a ear popping bang and traveled towards Midnight with incredible speed. When it hit him it did not explode fully, it just pierced straight through his chest and body and sent him flying back towards the broken wall. The beam went through the wall and then exploded in the ground. The attack did take a toll on him, but seeing this whole place is mostly a illusion it was decreased.

 

"We had quite the swell time, did we not?" Omega said looking at Midnight's broken body with a satanic grin. Omega was satisfied with this battle now, with the clap of his hooves Midnight started to wake up in the real world.

midnight woke up, his body was in immense pain, eveything that had happened in omegas world, had happened to his body, he couldnt go back to camp, only one place he could go to get any kind of help.

midnight slowly got to his hooves, and in an immense show of will, step by step, he slowly made his way to clouds home, the only pony close enough that knows his needs, and he left a blood trail all the way, until he made it to her door, he knocked once, and then finally collapsed in a small pool of blood.

 

"hello?" cloud opened the door, then her eyes widened, "m-midnight....?" she quickly scooped him up in her magic and brought him inside, setting him on a large unused table, he was covered in cuts and bruises, his mouth and neck were bleeding heavilly, as well as a large hole that went from his chest to his back, "oh horsefeathers, how can i help....." she shook her head, "m-mabey...." she ran to the kitchen then came back with a sharp knife.

"h-here goes nothing...." she whispered, "p-please let this help..."

she ran it across her hoof setting the knife down she let the blood flow into his mouth, she muttered "please be okay, please be okay"

 

she started to feel a little weird when midnight, out of reflex sunk his fangs into her leg, and opened his eyes, she winced and watched as his eyes went from red to a redish orange and he pulled his fangs out, "h-how do you feel?" she asked a little woozily.

midnight swallowed, "b-better, still in immense pain, and i think some of the damage is permanant, but.....ill be fine....." his eyes widened when he finally saw what he did and he started to clean and repair the wound.

"i-im sorry, i-i didnt mean too..."

she smiled as her eyes started to close, "dont worry about it....i-ill be fine."

Rain looked at Shadow witheringly, her neck still pressed against him. ''That gives me a one to four percent chance that I'll be okay, and that's enough for me.''

When Shadow still refused, she reached over for the picture and pulled in out of the frame, making a quick motion across her neck that gave a paper cut. Smiling coyly at him, she shuffled right into his side so that they were pressed together and leaned against him, allowing her throat to be exposed, a small trickle of blood running down the side as her expression became serious.

''Shadow, I trust you, okay? Just please do it.''

Shadow did not say anything as his reflexes made him sink his fangs into Rain's neck in one swift motion.

 

Omega sat on a cloud in a lazy like fashion, that had worked perfectly.

midnight awoke, his body was still in immense pain, he could barely move, but when he opened his eyes, he noticed he wasnt at camp, it hadnt been a dream as he had wished.

he noticed cloud milling about, "h-hey."

she turned and smiled, she was looking a bit pale, but she was otherwise fine, hopefully he hadnt infected her, but, it was slim hope, "you feeling any better?"

midnight shook his head, "omega promised to..." he groaned, "beat me within a inch of my life...." he chuckled, "he certanly did that."

she smiled and came over giving him a soft hug, he hugged back "what about you? you look pale."

 

she shrugged, "ill be fine i think, just a little light headed."

she then frowned, "whos omega? and why did he essentially kill you?"

 

midnight smiled, "remember shadow? well, that was his "good" half, honestly its a bit hard to understand, somepony split him, and omega is the evil half, and he did it, just for his own amusement," midnight rolled off the table and got onto his hooves.

his legs were a bit wobbley, but cloud came over and put her body against his to stableize it,

"thanks, anyway, i think he has the ability to bring anypony into his world, where he controls anything and everything, and theres a catch, anything that happens in there, happens here....which is why im like this."
