What do think about pony sizes?

First of all, I'd like to say that if I say something that doesn't make sense, I haven't watched MLP since Season 3. I've just been mingling in the fandom for years now. I don't give myself enough time to watch the show.

 

But that being said, I was going to start this topic off with saying that MLP has really only showed us the size of baby ponies, kid ponies and adult ponies. What about the in-between?

 

I recently started roleplaying as Spooky from Spooky's House of Jumpscares, and going by everything I've learned from the game, I chalked her age up to be 13. There's only one guy that I was roleplaying as her with though and I've already started annoying him so I made Spooky into a pony and moved her to PonySquare.

 

All that being said, what size do you think a 13-year-old pony would be? The girl I'm roleplaying with right now assumed she was just a filly, but I'm not so sure about that.

I like that they have made it VERY clear which are kids and which are young adults.  

Yes, there is a lot of important things about puberty and growing up, but by avoiding the mid-size ponies, they have kept the ages clear.  

I think this is important since the characters aren't human.  we can look at a human of any age and have a general idea of how old they are, but we don't really have a basis for mid-ages on cartoon ponies created so recently.

I guess we'll just have to stick with what Loco said. I wish I could be more precise though! Grrr. x3 I think I'll stick with the filly-size for now with the RP though.

Fluttershy's size in the Cutie Mark Chronicles is probably a good teen/preteen age other than a filly or full adult; however, I'm not sure if this is the regular size for that age or if it's strictly something with Fluttershy, since she has been the only character thus far to have this design

Ooh, that makes sense! I do kind of think it's exclusive to Fluttershy though. The story there was she was clumsy because she's too tall. Still a good reference though.
