My Idea:

 

Scootaloo's Parents hate Rainbow Dash because they think she's a bad influence and she has to prove she's a good friend/sister/role model for Scoots.

 

A chance for more Scootalove and gives them an excuse to finally introduce her parents

No. I'd rather Scootaloo stay an orphan to relate to the viewers that may have lost a love one or were adopted.

But we already have AJ for that. And the only reason the orphan headcanon exists is literally because her parents are never shown. Even the show-runners dislike the idea

Megan? Seriously? It seems pointless now, especially after EQG exists.

 

The spy episode would work better as a Total Recall parody, especially since it can be a dream sequence if someone wanted to interpret it that way.
