Would Subset Shimmer be welcome in FiM?

Since the beginning of Equestria Girls, people have wondered where the human world Subset is. With equine Twilight meeting her doppleganger, human SciTwi, in Friendship Games, i can't imagine the lingering, glaring question of where human Subset is, going unanswered now.

 

Should human Subby (turned into a pony, of course) show up as a background easter egg, in the realm of prismacolored, petit ponies? Pony Flash Sentry has been seen in two episodes, one with speaking lines, even! With multidemensions already shown in Friendship is Magic (mirror pool, Discord's powers, comic AU mirrors), it certainly wouldn't be too far-fetched.

 

Would easter egg Subset in FiM be welcome, to explain what happened to the doppleganger pony Sunset, who rightfully belongs in FiM?

Would human/turned pony Subset have adjusted to life in Ponyquestria, by now?

Would she have made a name of herself, in ponyquestria? Gaining favor with her other self's past mentor, coincidentally?

Would you guys rather have Subset (Sunset's human substitute turned pony) in Equestria, or Sunset?

No. We have no idea how a human Sunset should even look like in her pony form, if there even is any difference, so how would we know it's supposed to be human Sunset instead of pony Sunset of some pony that looks like Sunset (like how some people said that Starlight looked like Aria Blaze because of the similar color scheme)?

Those were mandates by Hasbro, put in after the scripts left the writers hands. Unless your point is you want Hasbro to mandate Sunset making an appearance, I don't think that serves as a good example or reason for why the writers would want to put in a cameo like that in.

 

And no, I don't think human Sunset ever crossed portals. On the Equestria side, the mirror at least looks like it could be a portal. You wouldn't be able to tell the statue in the human world could work as a portal except by accident, and prior to the mirror being moved to Twilight's castle that portal was only open 3 days every 30 moons instead of being constantly open. With no one seemingly knowing a different Sunset Shimmer at Canterlot High, human Sunset probably didn't attend Canterlot High anyway just like human Twilight.

 

And I don't think human Sunset should be moved over to Equestria because that's missing the meta reason for why pony Sunset is still living in the human world. The writers aren't making EqG fully canon. They try to keep it ambiguous at best. And no, Flash making a cameo doesn't mean the same thing as the events of the movie he first appeared in are canon since he as a character can exist independently of the movie's plot (and as mentioned before, he's just put in there in place of Crystal Guard #3 only because Hasbro wanted him in there).

Probably not, because it seemed like EQG and MLP are different in a way, and Sunset won't exactly welcome.

I feel like Starlight Glimmer takes her place in the pony world, but I suppose a small easter egg of her would not be so bad her pony form was already shown in the movie when she stole Twilight's crown, but I feel she better fits in the human world then the pony world.

As a background insert? Sure, why not? I wouldn't mind her even being full fledged character in FiM but that would be difficult without making EqG canon to FiM and that is what I would find rather unappealing. I like FiM and EqG to have a nice crowbar separation.

Sunset wouldn't have a purpose in the group; She's basically an Angrier Twilight crossed with RD in personality and purpose.

Human world twilight got her personality gutted into being different from Pony twilight to avoid the two being too redundant, but Pony twilight and Sunset shimmer would completely step on each other's toes in the FIM universe.

i can't fathom how the two haven't already been shown to be canon continuity to each other.

Pony Twi mentions events in FiM (s5 finale) in EqD, pony SS has already been shown to have come from Equestria, born as a pony and studied under Sunbutt, Pony Flash exists in FiM as a guard, Starswirl sends sirens there in comics, which again EqG confirms. There's too much evidence in both where they reference each other, to deny canonicity between them.

 

Plus, its hardly fair pony Twi can traipse through AU's into human world, directly meeting her doppleganger, and Sunset can't go to FiM. If they wanted the franchises seperate, then they never should've made ponies humans and threw in a magical machina mirror that is written to be on 24/7, now

HUMAN Subset belongs in human world. Pony Sunset belongs in pony world. But its HUMAN Subset as a pony, I'm talking about easter egging in pony world.

One of my personal headcanons is that human Sunset Shimmer somehow ended up going to Equestria, so seeing her have a small cameo in FIM would be nice.

Hopefully it would be in the 2017 movie.

But as an actual recurring character in the show, we already have another Sunset Shimmer,

Her name is Starlight Glimmer.
