The mane six's flaws

I've noticed, that along with their elements of harmony, each pony has a flaw that is major as well. I've heard of the elements of disharmony, so that name is taken by other things, so I don't know a good name for them. Here they are;

 

Pinkie pie's flaw is impatience. She never can seem to wait, and is quite excitable.

 

Apple jack's is stubbornness. Especially at the beginning of season one, she doesn't like her mind changed and may refuse help.

 

Rainbow Dash's is boastfulness. Sure, she can be proud, but she seems too focused on her strength and speed to be good.

 

Rarity's is vanity. She is extremely picky about her appearance.

 

Fluttershy's is shyness. Pretty obvious she is shy.

 

Twilight's was being an outcast, but she has seemed to overcome it. Perhaps some of thing like being to focused on knowledge.

Seems pretty accurate. Twilight's flaw might also be her tendency to overthink everything.

 

Oh, and Rarity doesn't have any flaws. Perfect waifu material.

Twilight's enduring flaw is that she's got a little OCD. Things have to be organized to the finest detail, or she gets frazzled, and doesn't adapt well.

 

The others are spot on.

I agree with Pinkie Pie's impatience, it can be downright annoying. But the most flawed mane 6 are Applejack and Rainbow Dash

 

Applejack is disgustingly prideful, acts like a know it all, and always seems to be incredibly negative.

 

RD is just a jerk. Plain and simple.

hah, the IDW comics current arc more or less focuses on the mane six's flaws exacerbated.

Anyways:

Dash is ego. She has a massive amount of pride and can let things go to her head.

rarity is vanity of course, and she's got alot of pride like dash, just more concerned with beauty and her own image than Accomplishments and abilities.

Pinky's flaw would be a combination of hedonism and gluttony IMO, that is to say a tendency to get caught up a bit too much in having fun and turning off her empathy in the process (Such as for example her actions in Filli vanilli)

 

twilight's flaw is a desire for perfection in that she can get fed up with others not being as in the know as herself or doing things in a "wrong" manner.

i just read your post and agree on what you listed. i do concide dashie's boastfulness and jerkiness and twilight's perfection (almost everything. i suppose)

The biggest flaw would be that Applejack's character arc was pretty much completed before episode 1.
