Right now I really need ponies to be police officers in charge of the investigation.

I don't have a preference, since Mystic likes being a "jack of all trades," and since her father is a detective, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to have her be a secretary or assistant of a police officer. What jobs do you have in mind?

Considering her interest I the supernatural I honestly could see her as a Misa type character to the main character. Thouh you may not low Misa if you haven't watched death note lol

I've never watched Death Note, but I know the general idea of what it is. I guess I'll find out what type of person (or pony) Misa is in your fanfic!

She basically knows what's going on because of her close belief in spiritual stuff. People think she's crazy because of it, so she starts to help the main character. That sound good?

That sounds awesome and I have that feeling you mean like an officer like Light's father and Matsuda and some characters from the anime.

I'm not exactly sure for Dew Drop. I was thinking a student or something like that. If that doesn't work I'm okay with just Dynamo being used.

More than likely he would be a Matsuda like character, if that's fine with you.

Dew Drop I'm sure I can find a purpose for as soon as the main character actually starts interacting with other ponies.

I would possibly consider using Galatea as an investigator for the "Kira" investigation. Not exactly sure what I'm gonna call the old Major.

 

I don't know if my brohoof was enough to say as much, but that would be cool! Galatea's certainly inquisitive and observant enough, she's got an eye for details and she'd make a good investigator. Also should it come up, references to her having an (adopted) daughter would be neat too. Not necessary, but yeah

I'm sure I'll be able to work the last part in as soon as we get there. She should appear after the current investigators get far enough in there investigation.
