Applesmack & Brandy 121 May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 I hate thunder, and lighting too. I've hummed the song for other stuff, but never tried it for storms. I'll try next time one rolls in! "The Southern Gentleman"
Creative Canvas 8 March 14, 2015 Author Share March 14, 2015 Thanks everyone for the confidence! Sorry I haven't been on in ages! I kinda forgot about this forum. But I'm back now And yay! I'm so glad I'm not the only one afraid of thunderstorms and tornadoes. It's just something I never got over. It started in 6th grade when I had my first experience with a tornado warning... Nothing happened but it scared the bajeebees out of me I was only 11 or 12, so that was a very scary experience.
Shady23 175 March 14, 2015 Share March 14, 2015 I love the advice from Pinky it's truly one of the best ways to deal with a fear. I don't think it's weird as all whatever helps you get through cause storms can be frightening no doubt.
Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,307 March 14, 2015 Share March 14, 2015 I don't see anything wrong with that. Rainbow Dash has genuinely helped me cope with symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder. There is power in the pone. And no one likes tornadoes. I don't care if you chase the darned things. "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination. But that does not mean making things up. Ashen Pathfinder 16,165 March 16, 2015 Share March 16, 2015 People have certain things that make them feel better during times of stress. One of the ways I can deal with my own stress is by imagining myself reading a book with Twilight. Something nice and simple. SCS 7,537 March 22, 2015 Share March 22, 2015 Okay so your probably going to think this is weird, but I'm afraid of thunderstroms and tornadoes. Every time I start thinking that something bad is gonna happen with the thunderstroms I try to sing giggle at the ghosties, I usually makes me fell a little bit better. So I think that pinkie pie is actually helping me conquer my fear. If that doesn't sound too cheesy lol That's not weird of all. I have different fears but the giggle at the ghosties song has often comforted me as well.
