So, I’ve been working to come up with an adventurous roleplay lately, and I’ve finally gotten an idea for the plot…

 

 

Basically, the opening scene would be at the grand galloping gala, or the summer sun celebration, or some other important Equestrian event in Canterlot. The night starts out normally enough, and it doesn’t seem like there’s anything out of the ordinary. However, a mysterious cloaked figure is lurking about the halls of the castle, eventually making his way to an ancient, hidden room of artifacts. He picks out a mysterious, glowing crystal, before carefully sneaking back out of the castle; but not before some of the ponies attending the event had spotted him.

The thief having made his getaway just in time through a dark portal that immediately disappears, with the crystal, the ponies who first saw him soon find themselves embarking on a journey to retrieve the artifact… and save Equestria.

 

Meanwhile, a dark force is lurking just beyond Equestria’s western border, readying to attack. A large nation of ancient ponies, known as The Uprising, had fed off of the power of dark magic. They had been banished by a few of the last alicorns several thousand years ago for attempting to take over what is now known as Equestria, and have just returned to their former kingdom. Ambitious to rule the ponies of Equestria with an iron hoof, they now seek revenge.

There were five artifacts created and used to defeat the invaders, each connected to a pony who wielded it. These objects gave the alicorns the strength, bravery, and power to conquer their enemies. However, in the process of defeating the invaders, all of these artifacts were infected by their powerful dark magic, and all but one (aka the stolen crystal) had been scattered across the Uprising’s land. The enemies now seek the artifacts, with intentions of feeding off of the dark power once more to make themselves stronger than they ever were before.

 

However, the ponies who spotted the thief are each mysteriously connected to one of the rest of the objects, and are the only ones that can find and reveal them… they are also the only ones who might be able to turn the objects’ power back to good, and retrieve/do the same to the crystal.

However, these ponies must be careful not to be discovered behind enemy lines trying to retrieve the artifacts… Or, worse, be discovered as being the ones connected to the objects.

 

 

 

The number of artifacts can be changed to match how many roleplayers there are. As well, each of the artifacts can kind of ‘match’ some of each character's personality aspects. Also, I was thinking it would be a good idea for each roleplayer to also play a pony from The Uprising if they can handle two characters.

Please no Equestrian alicorn/  Equestrian major royalty characters, although characters can definitely be related in some way to Equestrian alicorns/ Equestrian major royalty.

Im new to this (not rpgs, i D&D mad back in the day...lol)

as such i dont have my oc even started yet... due to...um, lack of legitimacy?

 

i sent a request to... some one... i think general questions. and im waiting for a reply... i would just post it because its the "fandom" that would like or not like my approch to existing or...previous..."history"... but i dont know where to post that kind of "discussion".

 

if you could help me get "myself" into the MLP RP universe (aka a proper OC post) and you like what i post (baisics easy, its "me")

ok thanks, but  i still have the problem of my character following canon, both his and MLP...

i could just type it out, but i would rather talk it out first... hes....(well realy i am)... complicated.

 

or do you think people would not complain too much about a "multi dimentional" creature, that shows up ( takeing the shape best suited)

and possibly breaking rules...(such as alicorn thats not royalty, and prefers to apear as an earth pony)

i just realy want to keep the believability, and the integrity of my OC... my original creation, long before i found mlp...

and i want to keep in mind (like i said) canon of the series as well... dont want to irk anyone just because im me.

Almost any character you have can be accepted. Ponies are best, but other creatures, depending on what they are, can be acceptable. Also, I guess an alicorn would be okay if their magic power level did not exceed that of a well studied unicorn.

see, this is where I don't know canon... and why I want to talk it out... I probably wont mention most of his origins in the OC post...

quick back story of "catre" (original name, though he has gone by others)

 

..... after obtaining a biomechanical (black ooze) mass, and "merging" with....

.... created ships.... traveled to the ends of time.... got bored.... created "interdementional travel"...

.... wanders the "ultraverse" looking to keep harmony, peace, and balance....

 

before I go "into" a new realm, he effectively becomes what that universe "requires" of him to be there...

thus I came to the decision that he would be an alicorn, but as he would not require "magic" to be there, he would appear as an earth pony.( but for him to "be" there  in the first place is due to a form of magic and technology, and because MLP don't have that kind of tech...) he would hide his wings and horn, so as to not cause undue attention to himself... but he "could" use them...

 

if you think I could get away with this, and not irk a lot of people, I will get to work on him asap...(give me a while, to do "conversions")

... also it takes me a while to do some things due to needing to take care of other things (not computer related)....

ok, i have him done for now... dont know how to post it for you to see... and i will probably get some issues with some of his.... atributes.

Sure! (I like how that's a very original oc, by the way!) Um, just one question: Would you mind possibly making him a bit more pony-like? Like maybe give him a regular pony's body, but with a skeletal head? If you truly are not willing to change though, you can keep it as is.

Okay, that'll work. Just make sure that while he can be very advanced in battle, he's not invincible. The link to the actual roleplay page is at the top.

ya ive known he is, ive been keeping up with all the story posts. i did give him a look, and a question... but i dont know how to post some ones name in it, so they know im talking to them... im still new to forums...

i would be posting more, but i dont want to "presume" too much with a character that is just as new to this world/ game as i am to forums!

Hi, sorry about my inactivity lately. Things have been very busy, and I've been having major internet issues...

 

I also had a question to ask: Would any of you be interested in playing characters from 'The Uprising'? If not, that's fine. I was just offering.
