SBubblegum "Bubbles" Twister, is a young, friendly and bubbly mailmare from Canterlot, She loves her job, delivering letters and parcels to ponies all over Equestria, but on a rather highly important delivery, she flies through a freak storm and injures herself, badly. Due to her injuries, she crashes outside a house, badly injured and crying.

 

this is where your OC comes in, he/she takes Bubblegum in and offers to nurse her back to health, but over the course of all this happening, Bubblegum and the kind pony/diamond dog/dragon (w/e yoru oc is) both discover they are developing feelings for each other. The story could start off anywhere and progress to anywhere.
