Luna smiles and gently places a hand on Dynamo's shoulder "Don't worry Dynamo, you have a future with your loving soon to be wife and your future foals. I'm sure I can make arrangements with an old student of mine, one I believe you are well acquainted with to teach you everything he knows" she says with a subtle wink to Chocolate and Quick. "just like how my dear sister and I are very close to little Orange here, I do believe you were or still are very close to your future teacher" she says with a soft smile as she scoops up the young mare and hugs her close "Shade will be so happy" she says softly

 

Orange closes her eyes as she snuggles into the Princess' embrace and nuzzles into her chest

 

Candy and Chocolate both smile and nod at the loving display "you're right old friend, it is difficult, but we also know she will be in the best of hands now, and we will definitely be putting our new foals into the academy when the time comes, speaking of which, what about you two? Now that Dynamo is all grown up,are you going to try as well?"

Meanwhile, a beautiful gray unicorn mare, usually shrouded in a cloak and hood, had her hood down to show her beautiful long black and silver mane, was walking the halls of the manor, singing a soft song to herself (Just imagine it as a female voice):

Dynamo smiles and nods, as he felt Luna place a comforting hand on his shoulder. "You're right, Miss Luna. Orange and our children are my future. I'll never forget something like that. I'm glad I can have a future with my fiancee." He raises a questioning eyebrow at her remark. "You had an old student and I know this pony? Who is it? Can I get a hint?" He asks excitedly, but frowns as she didn't respond to him. "I guess it's a surprise then, huh? Will I see this pony soon? Could I meet them at the wedding?" He smiles hopefully towards the Princess of the night. Dew looks to Luna quizzically, as she listens to her last remark. "E-Excuse me, Princes L-Luna? W-Who exactly is this Shade?"

 

Quick blushes as he looks to Gentle, who looks to him with the same blush upon her muzzle. "I'm glad you think that way, my friend. I'm glad you're thinking ahead for your foals' future. It isn't a bad idea to plan ahead on things. This way you'll be ready if some mishaps should come to pass. As for your question...Gentle and I have considered that possibility. We never really thought about having a child after Dynamo. Having Silver in our lives and the path our children have taken, I think we may try to have another foal in the future." He takes Gentle's hand into his own and pulls her closely towards him.

 

Dew's ears perked slightly, as she went out into the hallway of Orange's room. She entered the room once more before walking over to Night. "Did any pony hear something? It sounded like singing, or s-something along those lines. I h-hope that's nothing to be c-concerned about."

Everyone else listens and nods, Luna especially "Mmhm that's Shade Walker" she says "As for who she is, she is well.." she smiles as she looks to Night Dancer who smiles and nods, "Well you know of your lover's occupation as a head of the Manehatten Mafia, well Shade Walker is my solely most trusted adviser, magician and assassin since before...since before the Lunar Republic and Solar Empire war. I found her as an orphan all those years ago, trying to shadow steal from me, but instead of punishing her, I took her in, raised her as my own and trained her in the arts of shadow magic" she explains

 

Shade smiles as she walks past the group and continues to sing in a lovely, soft and beautiful voice

Gentle nods as she heard the sound of someone singing. She listens on Luna's conversation, as her eyes widen in surprise of the events that occurred. "That was sad, but very sweet. I feel bad that she had to steal from others. I think that was very nice of you to take her in as a daughter, Miss Luna."

 

Dew nods, as she turns her head to glance at her marefriend. "So, Shade is almost like a part of your mafia? T-That's actually pretty impressive. Sounds to me she can help in getting the job done. What with her magic, being an adviser and an assassin." She says as she nuzzles Night.

 

Quick had a look of confusion on his muzzle. "There's something I don't get. Wasn't the Solar/Lunar war a long time ago? This was back when Celestia banished you, correct? If so, then how in Equestria has Shade lived for so long? It's as if she hasn't aged a day." He says as he ran a hand through his mane.

 

Dynamo's eyes widen in fascination, as he listens to the conversation. "There's a shadow type of magic? If that's the case, then that proves there might be magic relevant to video games. I can't wait to look more into that spell, but I can wait till after vacation." He chuckles as he pulls Orange into an embrace and nuzzles her.

Night shakes her head "Shade isn't nor has she ever been a member of the Mafia. She works a long most of the time" she explains with a small smile

 

Luna nods in response "you are correct that she would be old and withered by now Quick, but despite her not being an Alicorn like my dear sister and myself, she is just as immortal as we are, through the use of Alicorn magic, spells and potions" she says "Shade honey, come in and meet your sister/cousin" she says with a small smile

 

The cloaked and hooded mare slowly glides into the infirmary, and as soon as she sees the image of Orange nuzzling into Luna's chest and embrace, the normally solemn mare squeals "Oh my, mother, she is simply adorable! Is she the one you were telling me about?" she asks with a happy giggle as she takes Orange into her arms and cradles her "shh, you're safe baby sister" she coos, she then looks to everypony "I'm as ageless as my mother and aunt, I know she's a grown mare, but she seems to like this sort of attention"

 

She then feels a tug on her cloak and looks down to see Starling "Hello there sweetie, what is your name?" she asks

Dew nods in understanding to Night's remark. "I see what you mean. I guess she works alongside you for special higher up cases? I wouldn't be surprised if she was working in that carnival case."

 

Quick's jaw drops slightly in surprise at the sudden information. "I never knew something like that could work. I guess the alicorn magic was your doing, Miss Luna. I'm glad she's able to be with those she considers like family." He says as Shade enters the infirmary room.

 

Everypony laughs at the display of affection between Shade and Orange. Dynamo nods in agreement towards Shade's remark. "I can tell you that she does enjoy the attention. I can tell when I give her all the love and attention she needs." He chuckles as he shakes hands with Shade. "It's nice to meet you, Shade. My name is Dynamo Pad, but you can call me Dynamo. I'm Orange's fiance, so I guess that means I'll be your brother/cousin."

 

Starling blushes, but smiles at the new mare in the room. She tugs on her cloak and looks up at the mare. "H-Hewwo. My name is Stawing. I am Owange's wittle sister. It's nice to meet you." Starling smiles as she leans in and nuzzles against the cloak.

Shade simply nods as she continue to hold the younger mare close to her, she could sense the troubles she had gone though but also the  love that everyone in the room has for her. She closes her eyes but as she tried to use her magic to ward off any evil that might want to harm her younger sister, she felt as if though she was being pushed back. With a gasp, she looks to her mother "Mother..I..I was pushed out of her aura..like I...like I..."

 

Luna simply hugs her "that's because of the protection that your aunt and I put on her all those years ago, sweetie" she says softly then looks to everyone

 

Shade nods then looks back down to the filly "Be still my beating heart, are all the young ones here so adorable?" she asks, handing Orange back to Luna as she scoops Starling up "Starling huh? I can see why, and my aren't you the prettiest little batpony I've ever seen!" she squees and hugs her even closer

Dew watches on, as Shade tried to use her magic on Orange. She was surprised when Shade was pushed back. She looks to the others, who also had perplexed expressions on their muzzles. She looks to Luna, as she gave her remark. "W-What kind of protection spell was it, P-Princess Luna? Also, what did the spell do?"

 

Dynamo looks to Luna as well for an answer. "I don't get it, Miss Luna. If Shade's magic pushes her back, then why was it okay for me when I'm with Orange. Same thing that goes towards Starling, my parents and the others? I'm really lost and I don't quite understand."

 

Starling giggles as she felt Shade pick her up. She smiles softly as she returns the tight embrace. "T-Thank you. You are a vewy nice unicorn." Silver and Lilly walked up and attempted to sit on the bed. After a few tries with some help from the parents, they were finally sitting next to Shade. "Stawing is right. You are a vewy nice unicorn. My name is Silverwing. I'm Dynamo's wittle sister. It's great to meet you." She says as Lilly nods happily. "My name is Lilly. You're mommy Celestia's aunt? It's great to have another sister/cousin to look up to." She giggles while hugging Shade tightly.

Luna smiles "it was on to ward off and push away any harmful magic used on her. My guess is that because it isn't used to the presence of Shade's magic and because her magick is Shadow Magic, it saw it as a threat" she says as she hugs Orange closely.

 

Shade smiles "Thank you, you three." She says but then her eyes narrow a little "I knew your mother Starling and your father. The same goes for you Silver" she then hugs them and pets Lilly "As for you, I'll be your cousin. With your soon to be mother being my aunt.."

Dew nods while Gentle placed a hand under chin. "I guess shadow magic may be classified as dark magic. I never knew there was such a thing as shadow magic. Maybe what Dynamo said about different kinds of magic was right. I've never looked into magic that extensively, so I honestly wouldn't know. Is there a way to alter the spell so that it doesn't affect Shade?"

 

Starling and Silver's eyes widened with shock. They both gripped parts of her cloak tightly in their grasp. "Y-You know our p-pawents, Miss Shade? H-How do you know them?" Starling asks while Silver nods. "W-Were you fwiends with them? D-Did they love us, Miss Shade?" She asks as she and Starling trembled slightly at the sudden revelation.

 

Lilly was shocked by the news as well, but tried to remain positive and happy. She hugs Shade tightly and nuzzles her in the embrace. She giggles as she felt Shade pet her. "I would love to have you as my cousin. I'll be the best cousin I can be. I love my one big happy family."

Shade allowed a small smile as the fillies asked their questions, she first turns her attention to Starling, "I knew your parents indeed, and they did indeed loved you very much, I was one of the first on the scene," she says then she felt the tears well up in her eyes as she remembered she was the one who Starling's parents' said their last words to. she sighs and closes her eyes, she then contacts her maid servant through telepathy "Gentle Touch, could you please get that necklace from my safe, you know the one, then bring it to the Dancer Manor?" she asks then hugs Starling close before looking to Silver "the same goes for you young Silver, in fact..they were two of my closest and only friends" 

 

Orange hugs Luna close "S-so am I going to be a princess too then m-miss Luna?" she asks and nuzzles more into her chest as she held Dynamo's hand

 

Candy was trying her best not to cry, so she buries her face into Chocolate's chest who was holding her close

Starling smiles softly as she heard Shade's remark. She felt happy tears begin to well up in her eyes. "I'm so very happy. I know I have my new mommy and daddy, but I still miss my old mommy and daddy. You also said you were the first to see them? Did you ta.k to them?" She then notices that Shade had tears in her eyes as well. "W-What's wrong, M-Miss Shade? W-Why are you crying? D-Did I do something wrong?" She asks while Silver's eyes widened in surprise. "Y-You were friends with my mommy and daddy? Y-You do look f-familiar." She felt she had a connection towards Shade, but she couldn't quite put a finger on that claim. Gentle touch's ears perked as she heard Shade address her. She nods as she heads to Shade's office room. 'Yes m'lady. I shall have it delivered as soon as I can.'

 

Dynamo's jaw dropped slightly as he heard Orange's remark. He chuckles as he looks up to face Luna. "I guess that would make sense. I always consider Orange as my princess. Since she acts like a cat, I guess she'll be my kawaii neko hime." He smiles as he felt Orange take his hand in hers. Suddenly, a thought just occurred to him. "Wait a minute. Orange and I are getting married. If she becomes a princess, would that mean I would become her prince, Miss Luna?"

 

Gentle's legs almost gave out on her, as she heard her son's statement. Quick held his wife close to him to help give her support. "If that's true, then I just can't believe it. I never thought the two of them would become a prince and princess. I can probably see that, but would they have a place to rule, Miss Luna? How would something like that work anyway?" She asks with a worried, yet curious look towards Luna.

She closes her eyes "Thank you Gentle Touch, I think it is time little Starling got it" she thinks to her maidservant and then smiles at the filly "I did talk with them..well sort of, I was the only one they said their final words to, their words were "Please..tell our filly that we love her, please m-make sure she is safe and well looked after"" she repeats, trying her best to hold her tears back "I tried looking for you, but it had seemed you had ran away before I could find you, at least you are with a loving and caring family now" she nuzzles her then looks to Silver "I was close friends with your mother from school, though I'm much older than she was" she says softly and awaited for her maidservant to arrive.

 

Luna smile and gently rubs Orange's ears "In time sweetheart, you have a lot to learn about being a princess as of yet, but in time you will become a princess" she then looks to Dynamo and Gentle Sep "Well yes, by marriage you will be a prince, just how Shining Armor became a prince by marriage when he married my niece Cadence." she then chuckles "They will probably live in the castle with me and my sister, and of course Shade here," she then hears a soft squeak and smiles "Come in Gentle Touch dear"

Starling's eyes stung with tears, as she latched onto Shade's cloak. She soon wraps her arms around Shade and nuzzles her. "I-I didn't mean to r-run away. I was afraid and my m-mommy and daddy told me to stay safe. I-I was never told about you from my mommy and d-daddy." Her sad frown soon changed to a small smile. "I-I am glad to be with a family who l-loves me. W-Would you be my sister? I see Dynamo as a big brother and you said you were l-looking for me." She says while Starling looks to Shade with curious and wonder. "Y-You knew my mommy from school? I-I guess you were and older student and my m-mommy was starting off school. W-Were you two v-very close?"

 

Dynamo smiles and nods while gripping Orange's hand firmly. "Being a prince sounds cool and all, but to me, it's just a title to me. All that matters is that Orange will be my side, as I am by hers. I think I know of Shining Armor. He's captain of the royal guard in the Crystal Empire and he's related to Twilight. I remember Orange and I seeing him on our first date together." He says while Gentle nods. "That makes sense when you put it that way, Princess. They still seem a bit young to rule anything." A thought soon occurred to her. "Are you planning on taking Dynamo and Orange with you now? We just got here and we still have to get the rest of our belongings back home. Also, if they do live in the castle, does that mean everypony here would move back with them? I don't want our babies to leave us, but they are adults and they have each other." She wipes the tears from her eyes as she felt Quick holding her close.

 

Quick looks at Dynamo and Orange and smiles with pride. "Being a prince and princess is a huge step. Not many ponies ever get to have titles like those. I guess Dynamo will be the King of games, or maybe Prince of games." He laughs at his own joke, before looking at the ponies in the room with a smirk. "Oh, come on, Chocolate! You were thinking the same idea."

 

Gentle Touch slowly walks into the room. She smiles at all the ponies who were in the room. "Hello everypony. Good afternoon, m'lady. I've brought the accessory as you requested." She bows and presents the necklace to Shade.

Shade nods to Silver "Indeed, I was a few years above them, but I was pretty close with them. Not many ponies wanted to be friends with me when I was younger" she says and then sees Gentle Touch, she nods and silently takes the box 'Thank you Gentle Touch, you may have the rest of the day off and enjoy the facilities of the manor, I believe the others here are going to go swimming" 

 

Shade then looks to Starling "Starling, sweetheart, I want to tell you something. I was the only one to hear their last words, which of course was worry about you" she says, hugging her more tightly "As for your question before, well you see, your big brother and I aren't related in any way..really, but I'd be more than happy to be a adoptive older sister" she then gets out the box "This is something that your parents wanted me to give you when I believed that you are ready, and I think that the time is now" she says as she hands the box over to her, the box contained the necklace that Starling's mother always wore as it was a heirloom of sorts.

 

Luna looks to the others "It all really depends on how well Orange adapts to her increased study loads, and the difficulties of her studies. If she does well, then well we will see if she ascends or not"

Silver frowns, but smiles at Shade's remark. Gentle Touch smiles and nods at Shade's request. "Thank you M'lady. I think I shall take you up on the offer and join the others. I shall return with a bathing suit and a towel. Please stay safe, Miss Shade." She exits the room to head back towards Shade's home.

 

Starling nods as she returns the tight embrace. "I-I'd like that very much, Miss Shade. T-Thank you." She looks at the box given to her and gasps at the necklace. She had tears in her eyes once more, as she remembers the item in her possession. "T-This is mommy's necklace. She never took it off for anything. C-Can I really h-have this, M-Miss Shade?"

 

Dynamo nods at Shade's remark. "I think it's sweet that you are now sister's with Starling. Sometimes close friends can be like a family to you." He looks to Luna as he grips Orange's hand comfortingly. "I promised I would help Orange in her studies, Miss Luna. I think her new studies will take a team effort. One that I'd be willing to help out if I'm able to. I know she'll do very well and might ascend one day."

 

Gentle nods with a smile. "I think that's a good idea. They'll both be able to help the other out. I feel it's more of a team effort than anything, to be honest. I know those two will make great strides in the future. I'm proud of them both." She nuzzles Quick before heading towards the door. "Now come one, everypony. Let's head back to the pool and have a safe and fun rest of the day. We've still got a long vacation ahead of us!"

Shade nods and smiles as she hugs the two fillies "Your mother was adamant that I give it to you, dear." she says while nuzzling them, and this show of affection made both Luna and Celestia smile, as Shade was usually a shut in, either focused in her studies, training or off with a mission for her guild. So this rare show of affection and the even rarer smile was a real treat for the princesses. "I'm almost wanting to just stay here to live, especially if the two of you are going to be here" she coos, nuzzling the fillies. She then scoops up Lilly "you as well my dear cousin"

 

Luna smiles "Well if I'm not mistaken, it was organised for your families to live here, am I correct?" she asks and everyone nods "Excellent, well then I do not see why Orange cannot do her studies for me while living here" she says and smiles "As for you, miss Shade Walker..I suppose we could arrange something"

 

 

Orange giggles as she nuzzles into an embrace that Gentle had pulled her into, it would seem that her future mother in law was just as cuddly as her mother and father, something she loved.

Starling nods as she could no longer hold the tears back from cascading down her face. "T-Thank you, Miss Shade. T-This truly m-means a lot to me." She says as she and Silver return the embrace. Lilly giggles as she is scooped up in Shade's arms. "That would amazing to have you here, cousin Shade."

 

Gentle smiles and pulls Orange into an embrace. She giggles as she returns the nuzzle. "I'm so glad that you're okay, sweetie. I'm also really happy to have you as my future daughter in law. You two are perfect for each other. I knew it back then and I know it now." She says as she pulls back from the hug.

 

Dynamo smiles at Luna's remark. "That's good to hear. At least we can enjoy our stay in Manehatten while Orange can still do her studies." He slowly walks out of bed and walks over to his fiancee. He smiles at the interaction between Orange and his mother. He took her hand in his as he wraps his other hand around her belly. "What do you say, sweetheart. Ready to head back outside and have a fun pool day together?" He asks as he rests his chin on her shoulder.

Shade smiles and nuzzles Starling "Please, we're all family here if I'm not correct, so you may as well call me auntie" she says as she hugs the three fillies and smiles, closing her eyes. She hadn't been this happy before except for the day that Luna had adopted her and for the night that Luna said she would personally train her "I can't wait to see how the wedding goes, I bet it's going to be beautiful, especially with Orange in a dress" she says softly

 

Candy nods as she hugs the two of them "Sweetie, please, next time you feel overwhelmed or scared, come to us first please? Cutting yourself may relieve you of the emotional pain and stress momentarily but it leaves you with permanent scars that blemishes your beauty" she says softly as she kisses Orange's forehead. 

 

Orange nods, but completely forgets about the pool, and was curled up asleep in Gentle's lap.

 

Luna smiles as she uses her magic to gently lift her new protege into her arms "Come my darling, I will lay you in your bed and watch over your dreams" she says softly, walking off towards Orange's bedroom, gently stroking her mane.

 

Shade giggles "I see now, Orange is the one mother has been so worried about, it all makes sense now" she says as she watches her mother walk off "Ever since Orange was born pretty much, mother has been worried, she's muttered things about autism, being friendless, bullies etc.. I thought she may have been talking about me, but I see it all clearly now"

 

Luna gently tucks Orange in, and as she goes to give her Wolfy, a plush toy that orange had been given by Luna and Celestia at her birth, she notices the necklace she was also given on Wolfy. "My child..rest easy now, you are safe and loved" she says before kissing her forehead and singing a soft lullaby to help her sleep.

Starling nods as the three fillies returned the hug. "O-Okay and thank you. We love you, Auntie Shade." Silver and Lilly nod as they nuzzle Shade in the embrace.

 

Gentle nods at Shade's remark. "I know what you mean. I can't wait to see Orange and Dynamo dressed up nicely. It'll be a sight to see. The wedding is only a few days away now, but I'm just so excited. I secretly wish the wedding is now." She giggles, but nods in agreement to Candy's advice. Dynamo watches as Luna scoops up Orange and leads her off to their room. He looks over to Gentle, who nods in understanding. He smiles and nods back before slowly walking off to his room as well. After some time, he made it to his room. He silently stands in the door frame and smiles, as he watches Luna singing a lullaby for Orange. He slowly steps into the room and taps Luna's lightly on the shoulder. "Hey, Miss Luna? I-I is okay if I stay with Orange? I feel that I should rest a bit more after what happened. I also want to be the first thing Orange sees when she wakes up. After everything that happened I want to reassure her that I'll always be with her." He silently whispers, so he doesn't wake his fiancee up.

 

Quick nods at Shade's statement. "I know what you mean. Orange is just a nice and sweet little filly. She went through some trouble in the same fashion as Dynamo. When they met again after such a long time, it looks to me that all of their troubles were washed away. Since then a lot has happened, but I think it's only brought them and this family so much closer together. They even have a lot of friends making their way down to the manor to help and participate in the wedding. I'm really happy for the two of them." He smiles as he watches his son walk off.

Luna smiles and nods as she steps aside "Of course Dynamo, I think that's a wonderful idea" she says "I know that Orange would certainly love it, seeing you as the first one she sees as she wakes up, it'd really boost her spirits" she says before kissing his cheek and walking off.

 

Shade smiles up at Gentle "your name is Gentle Step, correct? Would you be related to my maid? Gentle Touch? you two do look very similar" she says with a simple smile

 

Chocolate nor Candy were really listening as they went back to their room, after saying their goodbyes to everyone

Dynamo smiles and nods as she felt Luna kiss his cheek. "Thank you, Miss Luna. I'll make sure to keep Orange safe." He waves to Luna as she walks out of the room. He walks over to the bed and slips under the covers. He slides up to Orange and gently pulls her closely to him. He smiles softly as he pecks her cheek. "Sleep well, my love." Gentle and Quick nod at Candy and Chocolate, as they bid their farewells to them for the time being. Gentle raises her eyebrows at Shade's remark. "You know, something? Now that I think about it, she and I do look a little similar. I never really knew and I wasn't sure to ask." She says as Quick nods once more. "Maybe you two are related, honey. You've always told me you were and only child. Maybe she's your long lost twin sister, or something like that."

Shaded nods "Gentle Touch has been pining for someone ever since I found and hired her" she says "and that's been a long time, since you were born my dear Gentle Step" she says with a soft smile, still hugging and nuzzling the fillies. She then telepathically calls out to Gentle Touch "Gentle, please come back to the infirmary, there is someone I wish for you to meet" she says and smiles more, closing her eyes.

Gentle and Quick sat in the vacant chairs, as they became interested in Shade's words. "Now I'm starting to become curious. When you said 'pining,' was she looking for a special somepony, or is it somepony important." Quick nods in agreement. "You seem to know more than you're letting on, Shade. Do you know what's going on around here? If so, please tell us."

 

As Gentle Touch placed her belongings in her pocket book, her ears perked as she heard Shade call her via telepathy. She nods her head as she exits the home and back towards Night's manor. She had a curious look upon her muzzle, as she wondered what Shade had to tell her. 'Yes, m'lady. I'll be over their shortly.' With that, she began to quicken her pace towards the manor.

Later on, she had begun having separation anxiety from me and mother, I though it was because she thought of me as her mother, but then as she grew older, she kept saying a name in her sleep, a name that sounds very familiar to yours, Gentle Step" she says with a sad sigh, "and then if what I think is true, then, I will let her go from her service" she says softly. She then sees Gentle Touch come in, "Gentle Touch, dear, take a good look at mrs Step here, doe she look like the one you were separated from?"
