Maia winced as she was pulled back and glanced at the animatronic behind her, before nodding. The gryphon then slowed to where she was walking behind the goblin. "Makes sense." She said. The gryphon then looked around the hallway as they moved forward, trying to get a bearing on their direction. "So, I guess we're heading to where the other animatronics are?"

Kyubi didn't respond to what the animatronic had said because it was mostly true. She and the others probably would've told everyone about what was going on here if they escaped. The bat pony then looked at the ground, now realizing that her chances of escape were practically none.

Nightmare stomped, making the ground crack underneath her hoof, and said, "Answer me, when I'm talking to you. Didn't anyone teach you that?"

Maia sighed and punched the bridge of her beak as she walked. "Great, so we may just be walking into a trap for all we know." She said. The gryphon wanted to get Kyubi as much as the others, but was it really worth killing themselves if they could get out of the warhouse.

Kyubi winced as the animatronic yelled at her and closed her eyes, trying to relax and not think about the possibility that she might die. "You're right. I probably would tell everyone what happened here if we get out." She said, defeated and feeling alone. At tests the others could still get out.

Goblin said as it turned a corner, "No. Only. Two. Others. Can. Tell. If. It's. A. Trick."

Grace started humming a tune, that echoed throughout the halls. 

 

Nightmare heard it and said, "So, there are others walking around.alive." She broke the door down and slipped into the shadows.

Kyubi's eyes widened and she knew that she had to warn the others. The bat pony then ran out the door and towards the sound of Grace's humming. She didn't care about the other animatronics at this point as she ran by the doorway leading to the private area.

Maia nodded as a sudden chill went down her spine, causing her to stop in her tracks. She didn't know what it was, but her instincts were telling her that something wasn't right. The gryphon then slowly walked forward, paying close attention to her surroundings.

When Goblin turned the corner, it saw Kyubi running towards them. It said as it headed towards her, "See. No. Problem. Now. I. Can. Get. You. Out. Of. Here." It grabbed the third lasso and got it ready.

 

Nightmare watched from the shadow of the room, waiting for the moment to strike.

Kyubi saw the others and breathed a sigh of relief. When she got close enough, she decided to tell them what she had found out. "We need to get out of here. There's another animatronic that the one chasing me seemed to be scared of, and it knows you're all here." She said.

Maia narrowed her eyes as Kyubi told the others about the new developments that she had discovered. She was beginning to grow a bit paranoid now and was tempted to remove the lasso, but knew that doing so might ruin the ruse that the goblin animatronic was trying to pull. "Well, that's just great. So now we have another crazy robot to worry about."

Goblin nodded, handed Kyubi the noose part of the lasso, and said as it headed the way Kyubi came from, "Ok. We. Can. Leave. But. First. We. Need. To. Pick. Up. Something. Before. I. Can. Take. You. Out."

 

Grace nodded and said, "What is it."

 

Goblin said, "Gasoline. Or. Oil."

 

Nightmare watched them past and decide it would be good to stalk them quietly.

Kyubi put the noose around her neck and followed close behind the goblin animatronic. "So, we're going to burn this place to the ground. Are you sure that'll destroy the other animatronics?" She asked, somewhat worried about Nightmare and what might happen if they were caught.

Maia shrugged as she followed the others. It made sense that burning the place down would ensure the most damage to the animatronics, but they could just as easily escape if they realized what they were doing. The gryphon then realized something and glanced at Kyubi. She didn't know if they were being followed, so the bat pony may have just killed them all, assuming the lassos didn't serve their purpose.

Goblin said as it led them into a room, "The. Endoskeletons. Are. Brittle. After. 20. Years.  Of. No. One. Taking. Care. Of. Them. Come. Help. Me. Find. A. Few. Cans."

 

Grace nodded and found a can of gasoline and an old wagon.

 

Nightmare watched from the doorway, then went ahead in the hall to wait.

Maia looked around the room, before grabbing a few cans and placing them in the wagon for an easier mode of transportation. The gryphon then thought about what the goblin animatronic had said and it made sense. Metal degrades, so it would make sense that extreme heat would destroy them.

Kyubi walked around the room and picked up a few cans of gas, hoping that they would be able to leave soon. The bat pony then glanced at the goblin animatronic and smiled. "Thanks for helping us get out of here." She said, knowing what he as risking to do all of this.

Goblin nodded, counted the can, and said as he took the lasso in one hand and the wagon in the other, "That's enough. We. Need. To. Get. To. The. Door." It walked out of the room and headed towards the end of the hall. 

 

Nightmare lunged out of the shadow, grabbed Grace and said, "I see that you all are heading out, but that stops here. No one is escaping."

Kyubi's face paled as she heard Nightmare and realized the situation they were all in and there was no foreseeable way out of this. The bat pony honestly didn't know what to do, aside from putting the can of gas she had on the ground and pushing it away. "Please, don't hurt her." She said.

Maia glared at the animatronic as she noticed Kyubi giving up and sighed. The gryphon then did the same and looked at the ground, not knowing what could be done. They could both run, but Grace would die if they didn't save her before she became an animatronic and there was no guarantee that she wouldn't end up like the others.

Goblin didn't say anything, just stared at Nightmare and dropped the lassos

 

Nightmare laughed and said as she dropped Grace onto the ground, "Like I said, Kyubi, There is no option that I will let you leave."

 

Grace got on her feet shakily and back up to Kyubi and Maia.

Maia sighed as she looked at Kyubi and Grace, before looking back at the animatronic. She didn't know what to say to the robot and noticed that the lasso around her neck had gone slack. The gryphon knew that one of them would be caught, so it would be best to stay as a group.

Kyubi's ears folded back as she looked at the ground. "Somepony will eventually find out about what's going on in here, even if they don't work here." She said, trying to stall so the others could either escape or think of a way to escape. Something told her that she was the weakest link, though, so she would most likely be left behind.

Nightmare looked at Kyubi and said, "Work here? I don't know what you are talking about. The last worker died 20 years ago and the place been closed since. Ponies come and go, always mentioning haunted, spirits, and stuff

 

Grace looked confused and said, "That's impossible. Someone said that they would come in the morning.

It didn't take long for Kyubi to realize what had happened and sighed. "Looks like this was a trap." She said. The only question was why someone would want to put them through this, but knew that the answers wouldn't be found here. So far, it looked like they were all cornered and about to die.
