Indicus looked at the little filly, "It is for fillies and colts like her that I will gladly spill blood if It means they will live in peace, sights like this that makes my sins a little easier to bear." Indicus lightly scratches the filly behind the ear wearing a small smile.

Sugar was happily asleep, curled up in Crystal's arms. "I'll make sure she keeps her innocence, by the heart, should any pony dare hurt her or touch in any way she doesn't like...I will tear them to pieces myself" Crystal growls but then calms down as the filly starts to cry "shh, shh it's okay sweetie, auntie Crystal is here for you, shh, shh" she coos before rocking the filly and kissing her forehead.

Indicus gave an understanding nod the change in tone a little sudden but made sense knowing Crystal and her love for children. "I know you would, we do seem quite similar in that regard, both of us are protective of those we're close to." Indicus sat down next to Crystal Nuzzling her.

She nods and sighs softly, still cradling the filly "They just..have an innocence that should be cherished" she says, kissing Sugar's forehead and holding her close to her chest "Your auntie Lulu will watch over your dreams" she says softly and looks to Night Vision "I-I'm sorry miss, I ju..."

 

Night Vision simply smiles and nuzzles her "shh, it is quite alright lovely, I think it is nice for my little girl to have another mare watching over her, though Lulu always dotes over her as does Tia"

 

Crystal giggles and nuzzles back "Sounds just like them"

"I have a plan somewhere that involves taking over using a foals cuteness and a few weapon plans as well." Indicus joked. "That brings to mind something. Night Vision, how is young Blue Blood doing last I met him he was a foal with ambitions of travel if I remember right. He would always listen to my war stories and enjoy some of the griffin legends I told."

Night giggles "Now that'd be the day, Equestria overrun by foals" she giggles "Mares and stallions alike, enslaved by the cutness of the foals, bent to do the foals' every whim..." she then looks at her own filly "In a way, it is like that already. I mean, a Changeling Queen melted into a puddle of love just by the sight of one little filly.. who would have thought"

Shaded smiles as he walks up to them "We're unlike other changelings Night Vision, while we do feed off of love, we can survive off of other things such as normal food" he says "We can also give off love, such as the case of Crystal with Sugar"

Indicus still had questions about the new ability to phisically feel love and how often it appeared in non Changelings. "Speaking about love and changelings is it uncommon for a non changeling to gain an ability to sense emotion to a degree expesially love?"

"Mostly, but if say, the non changeling had an item given to them by one of our kind, such as your necklaces, then it is easy for the non changeling to feel the emotion, especially love, yes" Shaded says with a smile "I'm going to be giving miss Rarity something of my own soon" he finishes as he chuckles at how Crystal was now busily and happily playing peekaboo with Sugar

Indicus nodded his curiosity partly satisfied from the answer. Though his mind wondered if the act of a changeling giving someone they trusted or cared for something was a way to let them into the link changelings of a hive naturally shared.

 

Indicus shook his head, "Well whatever you give Rarity I'm sure she will love it."

Shaded smiles and nods and chuckles at the display of Night and Crystal "If I didn't know better, I'd say that our Night Vision as something for our Crystal" he says and chuckles even more when both mares blush "and it would seem our Crystal returns those feelings" he smiles and shakes his head "Foals always have a way of bringing ponies together"

Indicus shrugged, "Whoever Crystal decides to like is up to her I have zero reason to even be jealous or worried about such small thing ending the relationship." Indiucs nuzzled Crystal and then patted Sugar Drops on the head with a smile. "Still this herd thing will take a little bit but I'm slowly getting used to it."

Shaded nods "Indeed, mind you it will be good for Night to be here for Crystal while we're busy with work or what ever" he says as he nuzzles her "I'm happy as long as you are happy love" he says softly to her and she nuzzles him back "Y-you s-seriously n-never dated a-after me?" she asks and he shakes his head with a soft smile

Indicus decided to lay next to Crystal and relax enjoying the nice day and good company before the day came to an end tomarrow he would do the sting and then the Gala would be in a couple of days after that. He looked at the sky to see the sun just start to dip towards the horizon. "Wow this day went by pretty fast already halfway over."

Crystal smiles and nuzzles him "I love you Indicus, please stay safe during the sting, I d-don't think I'd be able to live without you" she says softly and kisses his muzzle as she continued to snuggle the little filly "she's such a precious little angel, can you imagine what ours would be like..oh we kind of did, in our dreams" she giggles.

Indicus smiled as he laid beside Crystal, "Don't worry I'll be sure to be careful." Indicus wrapped his hands around Crystal's stomach and he unsurprisingly felt the muscle under the thinner chitin. The idea that Crystal was capable of taking care of herself always was a small comfort that helped him relax when he would hunt. "I love you too Crystal." Indicus smiled, "I guess we did didn't we. Well no matter what our children look like I'll love them."

Crystal smiles and nuzzles him "Of course and they'll be well protected by the Night and Day guard, not to mention Celestia and Luna as well," she says with a small smile and closes her eyes as Sugar Drop had fallen asleep in her arms "All life is precious and should be cared for" she says softly and opens her eyes to look at the beautiful sun set "and thank you love" she kisses him

Indicus lets his gaze wander to the sky, watching the day turn to night enjoying how close he was to her the contact comforting, it felt like nothing would go wrong. "We seem to be thanking each other quite often." Indicus said with a smile. "As far as protection goes I'll trust Celly and Luna along with the night guard to protect any children we may have. The day guard need a push."

Night nods "Not all of them are bad, there's this one stallion, Shining Armor, he's a Captain, and he's married to Princess Cadenza, he's so kind and gentle towards me and little Sugar Drop" she says softly and nuzzles Crystal "I-I'm just unsure how he will feel when he meets Shaded and our Cyrstal, Q-Queen Chrysalis did try to take over Equesrria during their wedding, heck, she even foalnapped, Cadenza and took her place until his young sister Twilight Sparkle saved Cadenza from the mines."

Indicus remembered the wedding he was on contract from the crown to protect Twilight and her friends. He also knew that Shining Armor was angry when Celestia would not allow a crusade to hunt down changelings. "No matter how Shining Armor reacts if he does not show restraint around Shaded and Crystal I will respond accordingly." Indicus kept an edge to his voice.

"It is kind of hard to be angry at such a beautiful mare, especially one who had nothing to do with the invasion and one who had suffered so much" A unicorn stallion in a Captain's uniform and armor walks into the garden "Besides, from what I heard from the ponies of the Empire, she was a very kind and benevolent queen" he says with a soft smile "and seeing her with little Sugar Drop, just melts my heart"

Indicus turned his head to face the captain. "Well hello there Shining Armor, thanks for being quite understanding. I suppose it helps that it has been awhile since the invasion and your head is much clearer." Indicus shook his head. "I remember having to restrain you while we interrogated a captive." Indicus's eyebrows raised a little as a thought jumped in his head. "By the way, any word on Chrysalis's whereabouts or at least a confirmation of death?"

Shining closes his eyes and nods "I was still really angry back then, but things have changed, and with the return of Crystal.." he says as he opens his eyes and smiles before gently stroking Sugar's mane and ears "Besides, Cadence told me about how kind and caring Crystal is. and that Shaded was once her personal guard and fiance, so any changeling who would win her heart and protect her, then who am I to say that they are evil"

Indicus nods and smiles snuggling up next to Crystal. "I'm glad that you see it that way. We will have to visit you and Cadence sometime it would let Crystal see the Crystal Empire once more and let all of us see Cadence again. But first I have to deal with this sting operation and ten survive the Gala."

Shining smiles "Cadence would very much love to meet Crystal, we still have so many questions to ask about the ways of the ponies of the Empire" he says and smiles at the display "I can see why aunt Tia and Lulu adore her as well, She's just so...adorable" he says and kisses the now sleeping Queen's nose with a soft brush of his hand through her mane.

Indicus looked at the sky and noticed the moon and stars were out. "Well I better take Crystal here to a proper bed, it has been nice talking to you Shining Armor." With that Indicus carefully picked up Crystal and headed towards their quarters. When he got there he laid her down on the bed and tucked her in. He kissed her and climbed in the bed himself. "I love you Crystal," he whispered before closing his eyes and letting sleep taking him.
