animation Is there still hand drawn cartoons out there?

Been seeing lots of different art styles like rotoscope and hand drawn cartoons going out of place. Is there any that is still hand drawn today?

rotoscoping youll only really see in big budget films, but majority of them are all CGI now, like Disney and DreamWorks. Hand drawn stuff still exists, cartoon network and Disney have a ton of shows that are hand drawn, as is MLP! But theyre just all done on Flash as its clean and smooth. There are also a load of adult shows done in hand drawn animation.

 

Heres a list of current (last 5 years at least) cartoons that were drawn by hand, again most on flash;

Star vs the Forces of Evil

Regular Show

Adventure Time

Steven Universe

just because its clean and smooth styling does not mean its all done with a computer. 

You also have the whooooole anime world which is hand drawn. I mean look at the Studio Ghbli stuff! you can see the sketch lines sometimes still, they kept that beautiful quality

Yes, there are still hand drawn cartoons out there. Though I should probably say that not all 2D animation is flash. Animation is done on computers these days, yes, but flash animation is done with a program called Adobe Animate. The only 2 shows StormBlaze listed that actually use flash are Archer and Bojack Horseman. The original Gravity Falls pilot was done in flash, but the series itself used Toon Boom Harmony. I think a better way to describe it would be that hand drawn cartoons these days are done on computers.

There is an upcoming Movie entirely made with Traditional Animation, made by Don Bluth. ( Creator of Classics like The Secret of Nimh and The Land before Time )

 

Well...its in Production, there is not even a Trailer out yet, but Don Bluth said, he wants to reintroduce Traditional Animation to Cinemas.

Its going to be an Adaptation of the Dragons Lair Games.

 

Maybe that brings back Traditional Animation.
