He nods and smiles "Shelly's mother and father own this town's branch of it, that's how I was able to get the reservation. Despite how their daughter died, I still keep in touch with them," he says, blushing slightly at the kiss "I'm nothing all that special sweetheart, I'm just being honest, the way my parents and uncle Zeke had raised me" he says with a soft smile as he puts the car into cruise and enjoys  the ride.

 

But it was soon disturbed by a street racer sneering at them "Hey there hot stuff, what's a hot little piece of ass like you doing with a dork like him?" he asks, revving his engines.

 

Derek sighs "Dork? I'm a dork? I'll have you know that I'm a professional skateboarder, with a very high paying sponsorship, hell even my car is paid for by my sponsorship, I'm related to Darren Jackson and Zeke Anderson, I'm friends with skaters like Devin Ravenfur, Tony Hawk and Bam Margera!" he glares at the street racer "And what's more, this lady is more than just some piece of meat to drool over! She's the light and love of my life, my athletics coach at my college, which by the way my tuition is fully paid by my sponsorship and I can beat your ass in any fight!" he glares once more, revving his engines loudly in return.

 

Devin was enjoying the ride as well, but then he saw something that made his ears perk "A street race?" he then eyes the cars "Fuck! That's Derek's car!" he exclaims, speeding up and he sees the racer, he snarls at him, revving his engines.

 

Stella smiles and nuzzles her "I do feel the same way, I do want to be together" she purrs softly and opens a can of Monster "so, pizza?"

Kitty stared at Derek and smiled. "That's really interesting. I'm glad to know you still keep in touch with her parents. It really shows that you still are friends after all this time. It's nice to know they could get us a table and I hope they like me." She blushed as her ears and tail twitched. She then looked up and smiled lovingly at him. "I'm glad to know that those parents of yours raised a mature and kind young man. A man I'm proud to call my special someone." She giggles and purrs. Her purring stopped as a street racing was calling them out. Her ears dropped as she felt disgusted by the rude driver. She looked to see a look of anger on Derek's face. She started becoming afraid of what he might do as she placed her paw on his arm. "Sweetie, just look at me. Please don't do anything reckless. He's not worth it. I don't want anything to happen to us or to you. I want this date to be nice and not turn into losing you tonight. Just let him go, please. Be the better person." She pleaded as tears started to well up in her eyes.

 

Tara was enjoying the drive with Devin, until he sped up to two cars and one of them was her brother. "Big Brother!? What in the world is he and Miss Kitty doing here!?" She asks in a panic. She could see the snarl on Devin's face and became frightened. She grabbed his arm as she began pleading to him. "P-Please Devin. Don't go through with this. I'm starting to become scared and I don't want anything to happen. I just want to spend time with you. I-I get that you want to help b-big brother, but not to risk your lives over a d-dumb race. Please, both of you stop and let us c-continue on with our d-dates."

 

Gabby smiles as she returns the nuzzle. "Only if you can share another can of Monster." She giggles as she takes the other can of energy drink. After she opened it and raised in the air like a glass. "To us and all of our friend's relationships." She says as the two clanged their cans and took a drink.

Derek looks to Kitty and winks then whispers "Don't worry sweetheart, I'm only making him think I'm going to race him, let him speed off and get caught by the coppers" he says with a wicked laugh, it sill had a hint of anger in his voice though, he was really angry at how the racer treated kitty.

 

The racer smirks "mate, I work out every day, I doubt a scrawny weed like you could beat me and I also doubt you're friends with famous people like Tony or Bam!" 

 

Zeke looks to Tara and sighs "Y-you're right, but by the look in his eyes and the sound of his voice, that douche really pissed him off, probably by harassing Miss K" he says before slowing his motor down "Don't do anything stupid D" he says to Derek.

 

Derek nods and as soon as the lights turned green, he slowed his engine down just after the racer sped off at breakneck speeds. "Loser, I hope you either crash and die or get thrown in jail for life" he sneers then smiles "alright you two, well we're off to the restaurant, you two enjoy yourselves" he says as he drives off with a wave at the speed limit and sighs in relief "Thank you for calming me down sweetheart" he kisses her

 

Devin sighs "thank the gods that's over with, we're nearly at the market sweetie" he kisses her

 

Stella smiles and then raises her can "to us and our fri.." she hears her phone buzz and checks it "Oh no! There was a incident nearby, miss K and Derek were harassed by a racer and the racer crashed, I hope miss K and Derek are okay"

Kitty still felt nervous, but nods at Derek's remark. "O-Okay, then. I t-trust you, sweetie." She tightened her seat belt as she crossed her fingers and prayed. She sighed nervously from Derek's evil laugh, but giggled slightly at the possibility of the racer getting his comeuppance. As the light turned green, the racer dashed off as Derek pulled to a stop. Kitty screamed from the sudden stop of the car, but smiled as she looked lovingly towards Derek. "I'm so glad you didn't go through with it, sweetheart." She looks at him lovingly and blushes. "Thank you for defending me, my love. You have no idea how much that means to me. I love you so, so much." She says as she returns the kiss. She nods and smiles once more. "Your welcome sweetheart and it's no problem. I'm just glad that everything is okay now."

 

Tara nodded at Devin's remark. "You're right about that. He never acted that way unless it involved Shelly. I just hope it all ends well without the two of them getting into an accident because of this loser." She says as she clasps her hands together and prayed. "Big Bro? Miss Kitty? Please be safe." She watched as the light turned green and the racer dashing off. She sighed in relief that Derek had stopped and let the racer go. She smiled as she watched her brother and Kitty drive off happily. She turned to face Derek and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for not challenging that racer either. I feel better knowing we avoided that situation." She nods her head with a giggle. "That's good to hear that we are close to the market. Which means that we can almost get started on our date." She giggles again at the though of their date starting.

 

Gabby becomes startled as she looked at the phone. She sighs and looks happily at Stella with a smile. "At least karma nipped that racer in the bud before any drama could happen. I've heard about Derek through Jenny and I'm proud that he made the right decision in the end. They should be just fine." She smiles as she took another drink of her Monster energy drink.

He smiles and slowly drives off towards the restaurant "No problem sweetheart, it really angers me when a man thinks that a woman is just a piece of meat to drool over and mate with" he shakes his head "also sorry for the  sudden stop love, I overestimated the torque of this beauty" he says and slowly drives some more and sighs softly "It was because of a idiot racer like that that mother and father died if I remember correctly, plus I could tell how scared you and Tara were" he says and shakes his head as they soon arrive and he smiles as he sees the valet parking. After getting out and helping Kitty get out, he gives the keys to the Valet "take good care of her" he says, leading kitty in and smiles at the waiter "Reservations under Jackson and Leery please"

 

The waiter smiles "Of course sir, this way please" he says, leading them to the VIP area

 

Devin sighs "I wouldn't do something so stupid as to race illegally, it'd cost my sponsorship possibly, not to mention the life of the love of my life" he kisses her neck softly.

 

Stella nods then raises her can again "to us, our friends and to our long lasting relationships" she says, clinking cans and then taking a sip.

Kitty nods at his remark. "I understand, dear. I just cannot understand why someone would treat a woman with such disrespect. It is simply unbecoming of others these days." She shakes her head in disgust from that street racer. She smiles and nods once again in understanding. "It's okay, Derek. You're still getting used to the car and I'm just glad everything turned out okay." She places her paw on his shoulder and squeezes his shoulder in reassurance. "I'm sorry if that brought up any bad memories. I'm just glad little Tara didn't get hurt because of that street racer." She says as the arrived at the restaurant. After getting out of the car and handing the vehicle over to the valet, the walked arm in arm to the front desk. After giving the waiter the reservation orders, they were lead to the back in the VIP area. She stared slightly wide eyed at how beautiful the place looked. After being sat down, she looked at Derek, while taking his hand in her paw. "I have to thank you again for this, Derek. This is really kind of you and I'm really happy to be here right now with you. I love you with all of my heart." She says as she kisses his hand and nuzzles in happiness. 

 

Tara smiles and nods. "It isn't worth racing illegally. Especially if it makes you lose that sponsorship you worked hard to get." She blushes and she inhaled sharply from his kiss and sighed happily. "You know how to make me feel so happy and loved. You're just the most sweetest individual and I love you." She says as she kisses his cheek before they headed off. As they neared the night market, she looked around and marveled at the area they parked at. "This looks really interesting. You're right about one thing. The night market is very different from a regular market, Devin." She says as she unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car.

 

Gabby smiles and nods as she raises her energy drink. "Huzzah!" She exclaims before clinking cans and taking a sip of her drink. After putting her can down, she reaches over for her phone. She looks over to her girlfriend with a curious look on her face. "I guess we should order the pizza, huh? Do you want any topping or stuff like that? Just wanted to make sure before I place the order."

Derek smiles and looks at her "Tara was one of the other reasons why I didn't race, Zeke and I.. and well I guess you and Devin are the only family she's got, she doesn't need to lose any more family" he says as he picks up his menu and looks at it, he was taking his time choosing what he wanted, but in reality he was just trying to hide his blush from Kitty. "Remember, order anything you like" he says, and fiddles with something in his suit jacket's pocket. He then hails a waiter and quietly slips it into his hand "whatever she orders, please put this in, just make sure she doesn't see it but won't swallow it" he whispers then smiles "Oh and a bottle of your finest, and I'd like the violinist to play his best song please?"

 

The waiter smiles "Of course master Jackson" he says with a sort of bow then disappears into the kitchen, soon returning with a chiller and a bottle of their finest wine and two glasses while the violinist comes over and starts to perform.

 

Devin nods as he parks the car "You get better things at the night market, it's quieter and more of the stalls are legit" he says as he opens her door for her with a smile "Zeke told me how protective Derek was of Shelly, so it only makes sense for him to be overly protective of miss K" he says and swishes his tail somewhat "This way, I know the best stalls, there's even a retro gaming stall somewhere here" he kisses her "You're really lucky to have Derek as a brother, he loves you a lot and wants only the best for you"

 

Stella thinks for a moment "Hmm...you know I'm not really in the mood for pizza anymore, how about we go out and get some burgers instead?" she asks with a purr and swish of her tail

Kitty smiles and nods in understanding. "I can see what you mean. I'm really glad she has a few people that she views as family to her. I'm also really glad to know that I'm a part of her close family members in a way." She then took a menu an looked through on what to order. Her ears and tail twitched slightly as she couldn't make a decision. "H-Hey Derek? Do you have any recommendations on what to have for dinner?" She asks as she hears the violinists come over and start playing a song. She closed her eyes and hummed to the song. "This song is beautiful and very catchy as well." She says as she opens her eyes to notices a bottle of the restaurant's finest cafe. "This wine looks good as well. I just wanted to let you know that I might have one to two drinks. My tolerance for these kinds of drinks isn't very good, to be honest." She says as her ears twitched and she blushed a bit in embarrassment.

 

Tara nods in understanding. "That makes sense. It makes the area less crowded so nobody gets in the way of others." She smiles as he opens the door to let her out of the car. "Why, thank you. You are such a gentleman." She leans up to him and kisses his cheek with a giggle. She takes his hand in hers as they walk around the night market. "That does make a lot of sense. That was very cool of big bro to handle the situation like that. He sometimes acts without thinking, but there are times he does have some good common sense." She giggles at the small jab she made towards Derek. She blushes as Devin kisses her. She smiles and returns the kiss before nodding. "I'm really lucky to have Derek as a brother too. I couldn't ask for a better big brother than him. Also, maybe we can go visit this place after our date. This would be cool getting to see what the night market has to offer after the daytime market. Plus, it would be pretty neat to see the retro game stall, but we still have our date to look forward too."

 

Gabby places the phone down as she thinks for a moment. She then nods with a smile. "Okay, sure. Let's go and get burgers to celebrate." She stands up and offers Stella her hand. "You ready to go, dear?" She asks with a warm and loving smile.

Derek smiles Just wait until you see the little surprise I have for you he thinks to himself as he smiles and looks at the menu "You said at lunch you love fish right? The Snapper is quite nice, you can even choose how it is cooked, but if you feel like a choice, there is the filet mignon" he says and smiles "there is the buffet as well, but maybe have the main first then go for the buffet" 

 

Devin nods and smiles "I'm happy he's with miss K too, they look so cute together" he giggles and nods once more "sounds like a good idea, they're open all night" he says as they walk around to get their food and drinks for the pcnic.

 

Stella blushes "mhm, let's go to the diner, it's really nice there"

Kitty looked up from her menu and nods. "That's right, I did. When you put it that way, I think The Snapper sounds delicious. I think I'll go with that." She giggles and nods once more. "Yeah, you're right. Knowing me, I would go right for the ice cream and a piece of cake. I do have to watch my figure though. I don't want to get out of shape because I ate too many sweets." She blushes and purrs while giggling at the thought. 

 

Tara smiles with a giggle and nods. "They really do look cute together. I'm just glad he was able to find someone special after all this time. Same with me and finding someone pretty special." She kisses his cheek and leans her head against his shoulder as they walked. She nods her head excitedly at the thought of visiting the night market later. "That sounds amazing. You and I doing a midnight run on retro games and looking at other various things this place has to offer." She looks around trying to think of what to get for their date. "Hey, sweetheart? What kind of food would we have for our date? Also what drinks do we need and do we need a blanket to sit on?"

 

Gabby smiles and nods as she pulls the female snow leopard to her feet. "Sounds like a date to me, sweetie." She kisses Stella's cheek as the two walked hand in hand on their way to the diner.

The waiter nods "Of course miss Leery and master Jackson, shall I alert mother and father that you are here?" he asks with a smile and a swish of his tail.

 

Derek nods "Yes please Aaron, I think I will go with the special fried rice, deep fried king prawns with pesto sauce, teryaki and lemon and honey pork and satay chicken please" he says with a smile "As for normal drinks I will have a chocolate, strawberry and caramel thickshake thank you" he says as Aaron nods and writes down the order.

 

"And for you miss Leery? Also, I think I'll be starting college soon" he says, he as eighteen years old and was waiting approval after just having graduated from high school.

 

Derek smiles "That's awesome if you go to our college, I think there's a spare bed in my dorm room, if not, there's probably going to be one soon" he says as he smiles at his date.

 

Devin smiles and nods "Great, then it's a plan, if it's possible I'm craving sweet and sour teryaki pork, lemon and honey chicken and satay chicken, as well as some burgers, seasoned fries and pizza" he says blushing somewhat "Nervousness gives me quite the appetite" he says "what about you?" he asks as he wraps his tail gently around her leg.

Kitty nods at waiter's remark. "Yes, I would like the Snappy special, please. For a drink, could I get a cold water and thank you." She smiles as she hears that he might start college soon. "That's good to hear. It would be an honor to see you in my gym class." She looks over to Derek with a smile. "I think it'll be lovely for Aaron to room with you and Devin. Think of all the pranks that could occur between the three of you." She giggles before looking back at Aaron with a curious look on her face. "Also, sorry if this is a personal question. You said your mother and father. Derek has told me that Shelly's parents run this restaurant. I'm assuming that your are her brother?"  

 

Tara giggles as she could hear Devin's stomach rumbling. Hearing his choice in food made her mouth water. "Those sound really good. I might go with a burger, some pizza and some fries as well. Also, don't worry. I thnk it's pretty cute that you get hungry when you're nervous. Everyone has some quirk about them. Just make sure you don't spend so much on food if you get really nervous." She giggles more as she sees him blush in embarrassment from her playful little joke. 

 

As they were walking, Gabby couldn't help but nuzzle her new girlfriend. "So what do you plan to get when we get to the diner, sweetie? Also, do you want to go somewhere after we get something to eat? If so, do you have someplace in mind?" She asked as they were nearing the diner.

Aaron smiles and nods "Very well miss Leery, and yes you are correct, I was her younger brother, she was the best sister I could ask for" he says as he wipes tears away "But I still have Derek here, he's been a big brother to me ever since I was born, pretty much" he says and swishes his tail a little with a smile, then winks to Derek "Best of luck big brother" he says before going off to the kitchen then the offices .

 

Derek smiles "What he said is true, Shelly and I would always let him play with us and come along when we went out, same with Tara" he says and smiles as soon as mr and mrs Ledon arrive, they immediately hug him "hello mum and dad" he says as he nuzzles into their fur and embrace.

 

Mrs Gracey Ledon was a beautiful Snowleopard with beauty to match Kitty's, she wore a simple dress suit consisting of a deep mauve skirt and a black top with the mauve jacket, while Mr Daniel Ledon was a rather tall, lean and handsome Snowleopard with beautiful green eyes, wearing a matching pant suit. Gracey purrs as she hugs her pretty much adopted son "Derek, it's been so long, it's so good to see you again" she says softly and kisses his cheek, she then looks up to Kitty "And you my lovely dear, must be miss Kittyanna Leery? It is a pleasure to meet the one who has gotten our adopted son out of his shell of darkness" she says, hugging kitty and kissing her cheek "thank you"

 

Daniel nods "Yes thank you miss Leery, if you have any trouble with him though, come to us" he says before they hug each of them again and leaves.

 

Derek smiles "They unofficially adopted me, in case you are wondering, but yes, imagine Gracey only younger and more energetic" he says with a smile and kisses Kitty on the lips.

 

Devin blushes and smiles at her remark as they reach the night market "We will get our food first, and then find a nice place for our date" he says, holding her hand in his paw and holding her close, rather protectively

 

Stella smiles and giggles "I'm not sure what I want just yet, but I was thinking the observatory?" she suggests then spots something and looks "ooh there's a wrestling match this weekend!" she giggles

Kitty nods as they watched Aaron leave to get their orders. She smiles and nods once more after hearing Derek's remark. "That's really sweet. I guess Tara and Aaron are pretty close friends? I'm also guessing that they are kind of close? Like brother and sister, in a sense." She says as she sees Aaron's parents enter the dining room and head to their table. She smiles softly as she sees Derek hug Mr. and Mrs. Ledon. 

 

She giggles as Gracey hugged her and kisses her cheek. "That's correct Gracey. It's a pleasure to meet you and your husband as well. It's no problem at all Gracey. I'm just glad I was able to help pull your son out of the dark abyss and bring him into the light once more." She giggles at Daniel's remark towards Derek. "Thanks for the advice Daniel, but I think we'll be fine. I am a teacher after all and it's my job to keep Derek here in line." She giggles again as she watched the couple leave. She blushes as Derek pulled her into a kiss, but returns the kiss nonetheless. After breaking the kiss, she purrs as her ears and tail twitch cutely. "That's great to know that they adopted you into their family. They seem like a real nice family after getting to know them. Seeing Gracey gives me a good idea of how Shelly acts." She held his hand in her paw as they waited for their dinner to arrive.

 

Tara smiles as she felt Devin grab her paw and hold her close. "That sounds like a good plan, sweetie. As long as I'm with you, I'll always be happy." She smiles as she snuggles into Devin's embrace as they walked. 'He makes me so happy. His fur is so warm and I truly love him.' She thought as the two went to get their food for their date.

 

Gabby walked with Stella to the diner. Their fingers were intertwined as they walked. "I might get myself a burger with fries and maybe some ketchup. I also like the idea of the observatory. It would be nice to see the stars up close." She noticed the poster on the lamppost and giggles at Stella's enthusiasm. "I forgot that you were a fan of wrestling. You really never seemed like a sports enthusiast. Maybe we can go see it this weekend if we can get tickets."

Derek nods "you'd be right on that love, at one time I thought that Aaron would ask her out, but it turns out he's..well you know" he smiles "homosexual, though looking at him now, it doesn't surprise me at all, he is rather feminine in his ways too" he chuckles and nuzzles him, "and I won't lie, when I was younger, I did have a massive crush on Gracey, but hey, can you blame me?" he asks with a slight blush and rubbing the back of his neck.

 

Devin smiles and thinks to himself how did I get so lucky to get a date with Tara? She's just so cute and beautiful, and so nice too he smiles and holds her even closer "ah here we are, the pizza stall is over there, well the best one at the least, I'll go get us our drinks and my pork and chicken" he says as he kisses her "meet back here?"

 

Stella giggles and jumps around excitedly "yaay!"

Kitty giggles and nods at Derek's remark. "Now that I got a good look at Aaron, he did look a little feminine. He and Tara would look cute together, but I'm just glad they are still relatively close." Her eyes widen at his little secret as she smirks at him. "I guess that was a swing and a miss there, huh sweetie?" She giggles while waving her hands in front of her. "I'm only kidding. I know where you're coming from though. Don't tell Zeke, but I did have a crush on him and your father. I was young and in love, but I soon saw them as brothers. I'm glad that happened, otherwise I wouldn't have been with you." She blushes as her tails and ears twitch cutely.

 

Tara felt Devin pull her closer to him and she sighs happily while snuggling him. She reluctantly pulls away from the embrace as they neared the pizza stall. She smiles and kisses him back. "Okay and that sounds like a plan. Can you please get me a Coca-Cola for a drink? Thank you and I'll be back in a bit." She heads off and walks up to the stall. "Hi. Can I get a medium pepperoni pie please?" 

 

Gabby giggles as she watched her girlfriend's happiness and excitement unfold. "Want to make that a date for this weekend? Are there tickets available? How do we get the tickets and who's in the match?" She asked curiously as she walked up to the wrestling poster.

Derek blushes a little "A bit yeah, but you know" he smiles and nods "Same here, I honestly can't think of any other woman I'd rather be with" he says and smiles as Arron comes out with their food.

 

He bows slightly as he gives it to them "Bonappetite" he says then places a gentle paw on Kitty's "Be careful miss Leery, the fish has bones, so you may want to eat it slowly" he says with a slight purr as he winks subtly at Derek then walks off to get their drinks.

 

Derek chuckles as he begins on his Filet Mignon and licks his muzzle "Mmm delicious as always"

 

Devin nods "Can do love" he says as he goes to get their drinks and his food, he waits for a while, as it had to be cooked fresh, like all market food. The pizza stall owner nods and smiles as he begins to prepare the pizza.

 

Stella looks to the poster "Hmm it looks like a all female match, and it says the contestants are all a surprise" she giggles and hugs her "YES! YES! YES! TRIPLE DATE!

Kitty blushes and purrs at Derek's remark. "Aw, that's so sweet. I still don't know how I gained such a gentleman like you in my life, but I still won't complain." She says as their dinner was brought to them. She nods her head in appreciation from Aaron's advice. "Thanks for the warning Aaron. Just in case something happened and I was choking, I know my Derek would save me." She smiles warmly at her boyfriend before digging into her fish. She was careful she wasn't eating any bones, but enjoyed her dinner nonetheless. "Mm. This Snapper is tasty and really good too. Thank you and I'm really glad you recommended this to me, Derek." She says as she takes another bite.

 

Tara nods and wait for her pizza to be finished. As she waited, she took out her MP3 player and scrolled through her music library. She stopped on a certain song and starts listening to it.

 

 

As she listened, she hid behind her hair as she remembered how she lost her parents. A stray tear fell from her eye, but she smiles softly as she thought of the good times. She felt happy having her brother, her uncle Zeke, her sister Kittyanna, and most importantly her boyfriend, Devin. As the song finished, her pizza was ready to take. She paid the owner of the stall and took the pizza box. "Thank you and have a nice evening, sir." She walked back to the meet up area and waited for Devin. "I hope I'm at the right place. I wonder where he is." She says while looking around the night market while standing in place.

 

Gabby nods at Stella's remarks and raises her paw cutely while meowing like a cat. "Cat fight! Sounds like it'll be a crazy match for the ages." She giggles as she returns Stella's hug, but gained a confused look. "A triple date? I can see us and then Zeke and Jenny, but then who's the other couple?" She asked as she tilted her head.

Derek smiles and nods, waiting for when his love would come across the little surprise that he had in store for her. He simply continues to eat his steak and sip on his thickshake. He smiles up at her and keeps an eye on her.

 

Devin comes back, his arms full the food and drinks he smiles as he hands the bags to Tara and they begin to walk to the picnic area. It was then that he starts to scowl as a few men begin to cat call Tara, he got really angry when one of them comes up to them.

 

The man gives Tara a spank on her butt and smirks "Hey cutie, why not dump this loser and have some fun with me" he says in a rather sleazy tone.

 

Devin growls and does an instant spinning roundhouse kick to the man's face, knocking him to the ground. He then applies pressure to the man's chest with his foot "Assholes like you really piss me off" he growls and snarls, baring his sharp teeth "First of all, my date here is way below your age group, so I'm guessing you're a pedophile" he growls and kicks him in the head "I have half a mind to kill you, I mean all it would take is some more pressure here" he demonstrates by applying more pressure to the man's chest with his foot "and a simple bite to your jugular" he says, baring his fangs and a wicked gleam in his eyes "but you're lucky that being a black-belt sensei in Jujidtsu, that I am far more disciplined than that, I will leave you with this reminder though" he leans down and bares his claws ,swiping them across the man's face before kicking him with his heavy gothic boots. He then gets out his phone "Hello police? I'm at the Night Market and i have apprehended a pedophile, yes, just near the pizza stall, alright we can wait, thank you" he says then hangs up and sighs "I..apologize for that love" he says and kisses her as they await for the police to arrive.

 

The police took no time to arrive, they see the man and all gasp "You c-caught him? We were after him for months, but what proof do you have?" the constable asks as he swiftly cuffs the man

 

Devin sighs "He groped ,my girlfriend on the rear and tried to get her to leave me, Tara is only 16 years old, and don't worry, I'm 17, so I'm not like him, it'd be wrong and not to mention, it would ruin my reputation with my crew" he says snarling at the man "I hope the rumors of what inmates do to pedophiles is true, and even then it is still too good for what you deserve, another reason why I didn't kill you" he says, spitting on him before turning to Tara "shall we continue our date then my love?" he asks with a soft flick of his ears and tail.

 

Stella giggles and nods as she hugs her girlfirend but then her ears twitch as she hears sirens "S-sirens? Lets go see what's happening" she says before they reach the market place and see the police pushing a man into the police car then she sees Tara sobbing into Devin's chest "W-what h-happened?"

Kitty noticed the smile on Derek's face and wondered what was going on? She took a drink of water before continuing her dinner. Every so often she would glance to see him looking at her. She would smile and blush before taking another bite of her dinner. As she was close to finishing, she noticed something was in her dinner. It looked shiny, so she decided to pull the object out of her fish. After cleaning the object off with a napkin and taking a closer inspection, she noticed that it was a ring. She gasped and started feeling nervous as her heartbeat started increasing. "D-Derek? T-This is a ring, right? W-Why would a ring be in my dinner? I don't...I don't understand, sweetie." She says with a confused look on her face.

 

As Tara waited for Devin, she jumped with a yelp as she felt some man smack her rear. She started shaking in fear as tears welled in her eyes. As she saw Devin make his return, she ran as fast as she could and hid behind him. The box of pizza forgotten as it was the last thing on her mind. She gripped the back of his shirt tightly as she was trembling. She watched as Devin walked up and took care of the man who had bothered her. She wanted to stop him so he wouldn't leave her, but she was happy that he defended her. After waiting for the police to arrive and giving them the information on what happened, the man was arrested on the spot. She saw Devin approach her and nods at his remark. "Mhm. I'm ready to go. T-Thank you for r-rescuing me." She stutters as she kisses him back while the tears cascaded down her face. As they broke the kiss, she hugged him tightly while snuggling into his embrace. "I-I just don't get why there are people like him in the world. T-That disgusting pig gets what he deserves. I believe in karma and karma just came back to haunt him just now." She scoffs as she walked over to pick up her pizza box. After checking the contents, she smiles softly. "Well, at least the pizza is still okay. Let's continue this date. I feel really safe when you're with me, sweetheart." She giggles as she wrapped an arm around him while nuzzling him. She kissed his cheek and sighed happily. 

 

Gabby heard the sound of sirens and started to become worried. "That doesn't sound good. You're right, let's go see." She says as the two ran to the scene where the sirens were coming from. As they reached the market place, they saw a man being put into a cop car as Tara was crying in Devin's embrace. Gabby had a shocked look on her face and walked over with Stella to the couple. "You're Devin, Derek's roommate and friend, right? You're also Derek's sister, Tara, correct? What in the world happened and are you both okay?"

Derek smiles, he then gets out of his chair and looks at her "Miss Leery, I know we've only just met properly, and that this our first date, but I feel like we've known each other for my entire life, which is still quite possible..." he says "You've made me the happiest man in thins restaurant and possibly the college as well, you make me smile that no one has ever been able to before, you make me laugh, you make my heart skip a beat everytime I  look at you and think about you.." he says then smiles more but softer "What I'm saying is..." he then gets onto one knee and holds her paw in his hand "Miss Kittyanna Leery, will you do me the greatest honor, by becoming my wife?" he asks, still holding her paw in his hand gently.

 

Devin holds her close and kisses her cheek "People like that really anger me, taking advantage of young innocence" he says then sees Gabby and Stella, he nods "I am, and well, some pervert tried to take advantage of Tara, I made short work of him and called the police to pick him up, appears they had been after him for months"

 

Stella gasps "that's horrible!"

Kitty gasped as she saw Derek walk over to her and got down on one knee. Her eyes glistening with tears as she started trembling a little. After a few minutes, she nods with a soft smile. "Yes. I will marry you Derek." She watched as she stood up and placed the ring on her left ring finger. She then pulls him into a tight hug and kisses him with all the love and passion she could muster. After pulling back from the kiss, she buries her head into the crook of his neck while purring cutely. She could hear everyone in the restaurant applauding, but smiled and ignored them as she continued to hug her fiance. "I love you. I love you so, so much" She says as her ears and tail twitch slightly.

 

Gabby gasps while her fists clench as she slams a fist into her open palm. "That creep. If I was there sooner, I would help you out in taking that man down. It makes me sick just thinking he would try and get away with that. He'll get what's coming to him. Thanks for doing the right thing, Devin. You did a great thing and I know Tara loves you for that." She says as she smiled at Devin's girlfriend.

 

Tara smiles softly and nods. "That's right. Derek is my brother and my name is Tara." She then snuggles while nuzzling her boyfriend. "You've got that right. I'm just happy I have someone like Devin to save me. I don't know what I would do without him." She leans up and kisses Devin's cheek before she resumed nuzzling him.

Derek smiles as he kisses her then sits down, pouring them both a glass of wine, he then raises his glass "To our happy future together, future Mrs Kityanna Jackson" he says with a smile, also trying his best to ignore the applauding that was occurring within the restaurant, of course it was kind of hard to ignore Gracey and Daniel's applauding, he chuckles "They've been asking when I was going to get a wife" he says then smiles as he gets out his phone "I should tell the others, they'd love to hear this" he says and texts them.

 

Gracey and Daniel comes up to them and hugs them "This is so wonderful, we'll soon have a wonderful daughter in law" Gracey says, cyring into Kitty's fur while Daniel claps his paws "As a celebration of this wonderful event that has just occurred, drinks are on the house for the next two hours!" he calls out

 

Devin nods and hugs Tara close then smiles at the two others then looks to Tara "Sweetie, how about we have a double date if the others are okay with it, safety in numbers and all that" he says, kissing her cheek. he then feels his phone buzz, he checks the message and smiles widely "well, well, well, looks like you'll be having a sister in law sweetie, Derek just proposed to miss K, and she said yes" he says, holding Tara close

 

Meanwhile Zeke was hugging Jenny close, and feels his phone vibrate and when he sees the message he beams widely "That sly dog, and on his first date too, well congrats to him"

Kitty smiles as she raises her glass before taking a drink. "I normally don't drink, but this I can make an exception to. Mrs. Jackson, huh? I like the sound of that." She giggles as she nods at his remark. "Parents seem to do that as their child gets older. I guess they wanted to make sure that they found someone special and will always be with them. That's also a good idea. I think the skate crew will be shocked to find out about this one." She giggles again at the thought as they saw Daniel and Gracey approach them. She smiles as she felt Gracey wrap her in a hug. "I look forward to being a part of this family, Gracey." She says as she wraps her arms around Gracey as she felt her tears soak her fur.

 

Tara smiles and nods at Devin's idea. "I like that idea. Plus, they seem really nice and it would be great to know them." She says with a blush as she felt Devin kiss her cheek. She noticed Devin getting a message and saw a big smile on his face. After getting the news, her face lit up like a light bulb as she squealed in excitement. She felt Devin spin her around a few times and was giggled happily as he pulled her close to him. "This is amazing. Now I can really call her my big sister. This is a dream come true. I'm so happy for my big bro."

 

Gabby whistled and smiles at the news. "That was quick. I'm surprised that they just went on a date and just got engaged. I can't help but feel happy for them though. They seem to click well with each other." She walks over and join in the group hug. "Also I don't think Stella and I mind in hanging out with you guys. It would be nice getting to know Derek's adorable little sister and our fellow college classmate. You don't mind do you, Stella?" She asks as she looks over her shoulder at her girlfriend.

Gracey smiles softly and hugs her tightly,gently stroking her back "shh, shh, it's okay sweetheart, we are very happy to have you as a part of our family now" she says then smiles "All your food is on us tonight" she says as she lets go of the hug and kisses her cheek "Well we must be getting back to work, but feel free to see us when you're finished" she says before hugging Derek and kissing his cheek then going back to the offices with Daniel.

 

Derek smiles and pulls Kitty into his lap and kisses her as he wraps his arms around her to continue eating. "I'll go to the main buffet after this" he says with a smile

 

Devin smiles "Well, technically, they've known each other Derek's whole life, heck Kitty used to be a member of his parents' and uncle's skate crew, and she also sued to babysit Tara here" he says, holding Tara close and kissing her softly

 

Stella smiles "S-so that is why they c-click so well" she giggles then nods "I like that idea too, we can buy our food from here instead"
