leonbrony17 1,217 November 12, 2016 Share November 12, 2016 The animation of the show are cute easy and good. But they have more than enough potential to make more. And the fans use this potential to make incredible good animations and fan videos about our stories. The most of them are even better than the show itself. Children of the night The moon rises Fall of the crystal empire Lullaby for a princess But which kind of animations do you prefer? In my opinion both of them are good. But the fan videos push everything from our beautyfull show to the limits and give childish cute things the chance to be a blockbuster.

GrimGrimoire 4,973 November 12, 2016 Share November 12, 2016 Although I don't dispute there is some impressive fan stuff out there, I still prefer the show animation. ~No profound statement needed~
Plonkett 345 November 13, 2016 Share November 13, 2016 I wanna see WAY more enhanced fanimations. Since we have stuff like Toon Boom, there's way more possibilities.
cider float 2,539 November 13, 2016 Share November 13, 2016 The show animations. It's just that the story presented by the way the original animators work is what follows the feeling of watching a fun show. When I watch fanmade stuff well it's cool but yeah it's just fanmade. MaybeTomorrow 37 November 13, 2016 Share November 13, 2016 I like frame for frame drawn animations and if Hasbro had wanted to throw some more money after the show the animations could get more personality. Maybe in one of the future generations it will come back. After all we have gotten to see what success those frame for frame drawn animations have instead of the classical piece for piece animations like MLP. The frame for frame tend to have a more serious fanbase though.
Flutter's lover <3 8,210 November 13, 2016 Share November 13, 2016 (edited) I've seen some impressive Fanimations. A few are in even different animation styles...my avatar for example, it's animation style is one reason I love it. Just a different approach. I've yet to come across another so wonderfully animated .gif of Flutters. But the more "show style" animations? Some of them are hard to tell if they're fan made or not. Like, the newer seasons, I like their animation but for like Season 1-2 I've liked the fanimations more. I mean, the Fanimations all have little unique details or have just "added" a bit more depth or detail to the vanilla animation style.Just to give it their own touch. Ziggy + Angel + Rain 11,306 November 13, 2016 Share November 13, 2016 Show. I don't watch many fan animations. "It uses the faculty of what you call imagination. Luminance 2,187 November 14, 2016 Share November 14, 2016 The show's animation is far more consistent with quality but some fanimations(is that even a word?) are great too.
Moony the Cat 3,707 November 15, 2016 Share November 15, 2016 I like most Fan-Animations more than the actual Shows Style. For a Company, who makes Millions of Dollars, the Drawing Style just looks cheap. Sig made by Kyoshi
